EMOTIONAL FIRST BIRTHDAY!

I still [Music] remember we are who we are. Now these days we give it everything we got. I still remember. Good morning everyone. It's Adeline's birthday. She's eating a banana on the floor. You're not a little baby anymore. with you now having contractions that were regular but not painful. Maybe we go walking around the mall. Maybe you can. Oh, no. Not yet. We were getting coffee. Mommy. Ooh, coffee. We should totally reenact getting coffee this month. Yeah. Let's reenact the whole day. No. You're one year baby free. Oh, wait. Well, one more to go. She got it. You're doing it. Here's her name. Danielle's making Nummy, Snowflake, and Deer cookies. This is the first time I've ever made sugar cookies by myself. The last time my friend Jackie, who is a pro at cookie making, helped me and did most of it. So, we'll see how they turn out. Well, they look like they're going to turn out great, babe. Thanks. That's encouragement. Oh, thank you. We got the Santa Claus 3 on. Um, I don't think I've seen this one. It is your favorite. No. Yeah. My The first one's the best. And anyone that says otherwise, just you can't trust their taste in movies. Operation Adeline's birthday is in full swing here. Graham is sitting on the couch with the three big girls. Adeline's looking at me from her high chair. John's helping me wash some dishes. I am working on Adeline's cake with carrots. And I've got all I don't know if you can see back there. All those sugar cookies I've already made. Please watch your wet hands. All those sugar cookies sitting out to cool. And then I've got to make icing for them. Bake this cake. Frost it. Working on hot chocolate. I was going to make chocolate chip cookies. It's a busy day. But I'm so excited. Our babies won. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Wait, I won. I won. He's a bunny. There you go. Yum. Look, Add's first cookie. Is it a good cookie? A birthday. Why are you hiding this from me? Is it a good cookie? Is it yummy? Look at this baby's sweet birthday dress. [Music] It's so good. What? She went, "Oh, she got it. There it is. Yeah, that's it. She's like, "Yeah, that's not good. I want that icing part." She's like, "Where's the platform?" Um, cut the other cake or would you like Jude, what are you doing? You ate cake. This disappears. Well, Elena's got her little section down here. She's been into Elena, are you eating her cake? Is it good? Are you eating her cake? We have uh a super planned out birthday party here for um Adeline. It's just been great. Um we didn't have a candle. Sounds good. Are you going to try on the candle bit? No. No, you're not. We didn't have a candle. Tyler even told us yesterday at Walmart there's a little one candle. She said, "Oh, we need to get that for for Adeline." And um we didn't get it. We didn't get it for him. So, we didn't have a candle for her today. That's okay. She didn't need a candle. She just likes this cake. But look at that yummy cake. Look at Look, she's digging in. I know. She's just She's demolishing it. She's like, I want your cake now. You there. Give me your cake as well. What do you got, Francis? Aha. I knew you had something. I'm just kind of destroying, mushing it up. It's awesome. Feels good. [Laughter] Judy's laughing, but on the inside she's so upset because she wants to eat that cake. Oh, that's funny. Helen, let me eat it. This is all from Judy getting her big sister tax. Judy, where are your clothes at? Hey, where are your clothes? Well, everybody's gone. Um, we had a fun time with our friends and family. Um, Adeline had a good first birthday. She ended up with a little boo boo. But wow, you're going to b my face. Bye. Why are you going to We love her and we're so glad. We're so glad that you're in our life. You are a sweet treasure. You are a surprise. You are a blessing and we love you so much. And we are so glad we got to spend this last year with you. You're a special girl and I love your little humor. How happy you are. But I even I'm surprised like I think she did get full or sick of it sooner than probably kids who are used to sugar because she ate a lot, but she didn't eat that. You know what I mean? Anyway, I've got all these cookies that I'm gonna put frosting on um when these kids go to bed and I'm about to make them some leftovers and then they're going to bed and I'm going to clean up all this mess and have quiet time. But we love you guys and we hope your weekend is going great. One more week until Christmas. One more week until Christmas. We're not ready for it. I wish time would slow down.
