OUR CHRISTMAS PRESENT CAME!! | CHRISTMAS SHOPPING WITH KIDS

[Music] remember good morning everybody I'm here with my good friend Adeline and then say hello to the world the people want to know how you're doing yes smile so Christmas is in a week and a half away how I don't know it's starting to feel like Christmas and then it stopped feeling like Christmas I don't really know what happened I think it was because we were watching Christmas movies like every night and listening to Christmas music yes and we have been doing that lately because I've been working a lot more gonna have to start doing that might think next week off completely to get it back into the mood just kidding somebody's got to pay for all these Christmas presents and it's gonna be me yeah once that guy Lena Lena is this Jesus is dear like a reindeer to my heart oh and the ice fell off outside so and so yeah we're talking we're looking at Tyler's gifts that she got mommy and daddy you want us to wait until Christmas nope yeah I already opened a shop she told me to write in the card now look at this treasure look at this sweet girl it's got it oh look her little finger print three toes out that is tea for Tyler oh sweet Tai Chi bye love so the kids have been doing Christmas crafts all week long I'm assuming at school because today was in the last and Ian realized that until early this morning so what a bummer last day of school wah wah at least give me like a day or two more to process and get ready for it so now I want to see all the cool crafts that they did up I hear jingle bells for school and then sadly I have to go to work I asked the kids that they would work for me asked if they could pay the bills and they said they would help but I don't know what kind of job they would get at this point in their lives who made that I love it Trudy where's your crafts I guess the ornament that's cute what's that for that's not yours yeah yeah where's yours somebody took it all right Lena let's see what you got in here [Music] today was your mommy right away Elena that is so funny how did you know to make that awesome face well I did it I finally got the tree decorated yay I've had these for so long these golden red ornaments in these little white bows patient they're so pretty look how cute they're this is when my ornaments I love it so cute it is Santa kneeling before baby Jesus because Jesus is the reason for Christmas Santa is something for fun the you know the spirit of Christmas but he is not Christmas is about to us and our family here this one Elena made this year how cute is that she just brought it home today and then we've got this one that Tyler made today I put all the kids ornaments on this side so they can kind of see them all in one place Elena made this to hug you just done so those are all over here I have to show you probably my favorite ornament and the reason is John and I I told you about our tradition of exchanging ornaments for the girls so we had started that with each other to like one year he got me this one this cute little bird and I got him this where is it broken I have to find it I bought him one that looks just like his guitar anyway so last year we were like a mess cuz Adeline was born you know a week before Christmas and we just didn't have time to do anything or the plan so he had run out and he tried so hard to give me an ornament but they were out of like everything by the time he was four so he brought this ornament home and bless his heart it is the ugliest thing I've ever seen but because of that is now my favorite ornament for sure this is this giant foam ball it's all dented up can't see it's like smushed it just is hilarious so now I told him we need to start a tradition of picking out just like tacky clunky hideous ornaments for each other and have that be it so I thought that was really fun I'm about to get my this is my daily drink no it is non-alcoholic it helps so much with energy with fatigue with mental clarity like when you're pregnant especially but even when you're just a mom that mom brain is real and it's like this constant fog I feel like it's very hard to remember something straight because there's so many things on your mind at one time especially with so many small kids mingsha red is what it's called it's a juice supplement by Young Living it's made from the wolfberry which is one of the most nutrient-dense foods in the world it's all it's like a shot and then a teaspoon of mine fire every day so I am gonna drink that get my energy on but in finally getting some decorating done I took down my picture and I got my wreath in this little entryway sort of thing we set up our Charlie Brown tree right here how cute I've got a few more things if it up I want to put up one of these Garland's above this door and then I have a few more reads that go around the house I usually know all about this but I think it's just as we went to Pennsylvania and I've just been so behind I'm not ready for adilyn's birthday I'm not all ready yeah but we might make a few videos starring Tyler and maybe Elena do you want to be in them yeah and upload throughout you know the week would your kids like that would they say they like Tyler and Elena are they funny what about Francis let's see Francis what do you think she's Judi holding you and keeping you safe oh he likes sitting with you well now he doesn't want to sit with you patty is working late tonight yeah you're eating dinner what do you have pasta broccoli carrots and salad [Music] are you singing to her she's singing to you ten days till Christmas and we're just now putting our candy canes on a tree because that's just what we do it takes us a while to get things done around here sometimes [Music] we're driving to get something to eat for breakfast and they all start screaming and as I wall you screaming about scream she screamed the single word I didn't know what she'd said and and she had said Chipotle and as I was this shopping area that we typically frequent is bidding give me just a second please give us a second tweaks Tyler Chipotle there it is everyone there it is under construction they are delicious and nutritious yummy in your tummy okay so we are really excited we have a fun day planned for these kids and it's actually probably more fun for me no it's probably a tie of fun for me it's done and in the kids easily we are at the store at now we're going to go into the dollar store with the girls and we are letting them pick out gifts for each other and for their grandparents and the probably women I get set for us and then we're gonna go pick out we took some tags off the Angel Tree at church so we're gonna get a few gifts for those kids as well it's really important for us to teach the girl is that Christmas is about Jesus and God's gift to us and then it's also about the spirit of giving and we celebrate giving to others and so God has blessed us so much he's provided where we didn't think we would have for this Christmas and he's just provided above and beyond so we are going to pour that out and bless some other people here in need and I'm excited to just take them this is the first time they're picking out gifts themselves right so we want them to have the perspective yes they're receiving gifts but so yes they're receiving gifts but we want their perspective to be more that gifts are being given to them by others if that makes sense we want them to be grateful and acknowledge that so the best way to teach that is by having them give gifts to so that they can be on the other end of that who do we need to get gifts for okay alex is not on the list I don't even know who that is hey do you when you get gifts for our sisters you know that Barbie would be a great gift thank you I love this this is a good Christmas gift thank you guys we found this kind family here at the dollar store with us pastor wes in a crystal for church they're friends of ours and they're kept and keep up with our kids well okay that's gonna be for Judi the Moana Park oh that's for Tyler we found this and Tyler thinks this is the coolest thing it's not a hair clip for sure it's not but it's on a clip that we could put in her hair and she wants it so bad I think I'm gonna get you that as a present if you're wear that in your hair every single day I love that that is too stinkin funny I show mommy what that is she loves it she thinks it's the convincing the healthy person inside me a saying yup to this food but the poor kid inside me is saying look at all this food I could buy right now and I would eat it all Judy put them back please put them back Judy's trying to sneak some popsicle snacks I don't think so kid if it's not your favorite you never even had it let me have it [Music] sorry Merry Christmas everybody did you guys have fun what are you know good experience did you like picking out presents for each other oh yeah we don't get bang it they learn nothing listen this trip was about each other not us it's not about getting stuff for you it's about giving that's what Christmas is about it's not about getting it's about giving so we made it home the kids are in their rooms for some much-needed quiet time much needed for us but also much needed for them they were all kind of tired so they've got snacks they've been sent up to bed when we got home John brought in all the groceries but we realized that our Christmas present is here we got a group Christmas present by group I mean joint I mean me and John got a joint Christmas present this year because all the money that we had for Christmas presents always been spent no we wanted to get the girls gifts and then some of our family and so when it came to the two of us we've decided to just skip gifts for them I've had some gift cards for Amazon and we ended up paying $10 for this gift to each other for each other for our house and I'm so excited this is it it's a big old box just sitting here we got fire going sipping on some eggnog eggnog not alcoholic he's not close your eyes Blagh Blagh oh there are you put together we had these baby flute were they ever in the book we had these I bought from Target these big blue like tufted but they were just too big for the space in their game I love it open but I've missed having some because I mean I'm a counter sinner like I am someone who like something at the counter perfect height whatever where I sit on the counter I love the kitchen I love the counter so we needed something I missed it and I saw these on the Amazon and I was like those are gorgeous and perfect maybe they'll be less destructive than the wooden ones were with the kids yes that's what another issue was with our chairs is that well they were they were cheap with me target I'm sorry but they were cheaply oh say anyway these are before like put it on the top you can actually feel great he's funny-looking things off of that they would I'm top it were like normally they're 140 and then they went on sale after Isaac oh we should get these and then they went on sale anymore and so I was like okay because aside and then I realized I had a bunch of gift cards so it was worth it yeah it looks nice what do y'all think do you like them did it look nice do you think that they're beautiful too big like too tall I'm just kidding if they're any small unit no they're good yeah they are nice we're sitting at the counter how does it feel it feels I like it I love and I love having the extra seating because we are always hosting stuff not we do host more often than anybody we know which I look and I feel like we'd never have enough seats so this is great I am scared the kids are gonna be climbing here's just another avenue for them to get on top for the county probably true but you know what we'll tell them a lot on these these are my nice tools and if they break them I will dish it out there likes fair enough anyway so we're gonna go we've got Robin Jeannine coming over later with William I need to make some cookies for adilyn's birthday tomorrow cam there's no like this I was at the hospital or I was at the doctor telling me to go home right about now and get his stuff together get the
