If we were to sell our van and change types of RV's, this Airstream International Serenity 25fb might just be the one!
What's up guys. My name is Aaron. That's my wife, Christine.
We're full-time RVers in an Airstream Interstate Sprinter van.
So what are we doing in this trailer today?
Daydreaming.
Out of all of the models, the International is our favorite.
Yeah. So it's specifically this size, this footage.
So this is a 25 foot International Serenity and it just speaks to us.
It has very similar colors,
actually identical colors and a countertop to our van.
And this is a 2015 trailer that we're in today, but we absolutely love it.
This space is perfect. It's a bit of like a tiny apartment.
So with the kitchen table or work table here,
and then you have like this long sofa. So you can imagine,
you can easily have, you know, half a dozen people in here. Yeah.
And not feel too crazy. Even if someone was up in the kitchen,
it wouldn't be me in the kitchen. I'm not too good in the kitchen,
but Christine loves the kitchen. And I mean,
what a great space and having the bedroom separate. We like it.
Yeah.
So then that way when the early bird gets up and wants to start coffee at 4am,
the other can still sleep and shut the door,
which is something that you don't get in the van.
And when one person wakes up in the van, the other person wakes up in the van.
So that's something that we would really love about having a trailer is just the
space,
the different areas to roam about and the areas that you can share together at
the same time.
Yeah. These are eight and a half feet wide and they're a good,
I think six and a half feet tall. So it gives you,
it doesn't sound like a lot of space, but coming from a van,
it is a ton of space and this one just feels so homey.
Yes. And I love the color scheme. Like we said,
the cabinetry is the same color that we currently have,
which is what attracted us to our current van in the first place.
And so automatically we're attracted to the colors in here.
I love the pale, soft, yellow drapes.
Yellow makes me happy. So I love the yellow splashes.
I love that like burnt orange, brown, red, whatever you would consider that.
They're just really warm colors without being overwhelmingly dark. Yeah.
Let's take a quick look into the bedroom and see what's going on.
Into the queen.
It's so nice to be able to walk around and have just a little bit of legroom
and not be just jammed in. Um, and I was just thinking like,
so you have your bed made all the time,
which is another plus that we would feel once we got into a trailer.
Cause right now with our bed, we make it and take it down every day.
So to have a permanent bed with this, um, bedding on it all the time,
you don't need storage for your bedding anymore.
So what do you do with all of this ginormous storage space?
That's a lot of clothes to put in there when you don't have to share it with
pillows and comforters. It's a ton of space in here.
And they actually have, it looks like a wardrobe closet.
They're along with a good stack of drawers,
which is a lot of space.
They have these yellow curtains that I like, again,
that's carried throughout.
And then over here you get a little nightstand and you have outlets
and USB charging ports.
So to get the queen bed going in the North South position,
instead of the East West, you have to bump up to,
I think the 27 or 28 foot, uh, I believe it's the 27 foot.
And so we like to keep small 25.
We kind of feel is that happy space between the 23 and the 27.
So you still get the walk around like Chris said,
and you still get a separated bedroom, which feels like a bedroom,
but you don't get the double, um, nightstands, which is nice with the,
uh, with the North South bed. It's a little bit bigger, but then again,
you've got to tell that extra couple of feet,
nice little TV on the side of the wall there.
Thermostat we got ducted, uh,
heating and air conditioning along with a fantastic fan up in the roof.
And there's also a fantastic fan in the kitchen area and this beautiful
sunlight that helps let the room in.
One thing we love is these, uh, upper windows,
the kind of the porthole windows and you don't get those in the smaller
trailers. I think you got to get either in the 23 to 25 foot range.
And that just helps that extra light come in and just make it feel open and
area along with those giant windows and the wraparound.
Got to love those wraparound. Yes.
Let's take a look at that fridge and the pantry space fridge.
I'm right here. It's a medic, very spacious size fridge,
very spacious size freezer and lots of room to play in the kitchen.
You get an oven,
which is on my wishlist for someday to have an oven again and a nice triple
burner stovetop. This kitchen is great. I love this little bubble out.
You get to really use this corner space and the residential sink is big and you
get your little portholes in the kitchen too. Lots of cabinet space,
built in trash. That's a nice feature
and pantry.
But one thing that really excites us is the dry bath.
This bathroom is big,
little dark in here,
but lots of space in here for all of your belongings.
Everything has a home.
You no longer have to store your toiletries in the kitchen pantry.
Those are little things that we look forward to someday down the road,
whenever that time may be. Lots of mirror space in there.
Nice big mirror. You have your outlets, lots of counter space,
plug in, do your hair and actually have a nice vanity area.
And of course we have the shower.
Aaron is the official shower tester because he's the tall one.
So we'll get him to stand in here.
What do you think?
So I can actually fit. I'm just under six foot two.
So it's not a ton of space. But coming from a wet bath,
this is a lot more space than we have.
Does it feel better than the wet bath we have?
It's definitely tight quarters,
but it feels better since there's no toilet in here with me.
Height wise, is it the same height?
I think it's a hair taller, a couple of inches taller. Yeah.
Cause I kind of have to really shrink down in that one.
So it's the elbow space that gets you and then trying to go overhead too.
It's not always easy being a tall glass of water, is it? No.
Let's get you out of there. What's that cabinet?
This is just another giant pantry cabinet,
which you can kind of have free reign to do whatever you want in there.
It's deep.
What's your favorite thing about this trailer?
I just love the space, the windows, the airiness.
That's what really makes a difference. When you're in a van,
you have the narrow width, the narrow height,
and then you don't have any windows up top. I mean,
you have like a one fantastic fan,
but you don't have all of this open and airiness.
So that's what really attracts me to the trailers and the Airstream trailer
specifically is just the light and all that extra kind of
sunshine that comes in and just makes you smile. Yeah.
So thank you so much for watching this quick little video.
We find this to be the perfect size space and layout,
and we absolutely love this trailer.
So we just wanted to give you guys a quick little tour of an older version of
this, and maybe one day we'll find ourselves in one of these.
So thanks again for watching and we'll catch you on the next video.
