Laiya Beach, Batangas! Is This The BEST Beach Near Manila?!

starting on Sunday after nice m-more [Music] good morning guys we have a quick bit of breakfast here and then we're gonna hit the road nice and early because today we are heading to the beach as we're going to speech today I have been to beat for a very long time I just get hit by Jeep Nick thank you yes sir get in the food or the mosley even OPM [ __ ] Starbucks is over quit coffee best very bad hopefully oh good overnight oh guys there's two reasons we're in Starbucks for breakfast slowing one to pick up a coffee which their very first right now - we want to find a thing for our GoPro in this sm or a little mount to stick on the car so we can hope you film this Q&A later what we're driving along that's the idea gone for a healthy breakfast is monic cherry berry overnight oats they also gave us their side I've no idea and we made some new friends here [Music] love coming love coming into the malls at the moment because we're starting loose because we're starting a Christmas song said and we're heading towards lair Beach layer on layer yeah like yeah that's how we say it we met some people early who suggested we go to another Beach hangar that's kind of more back towards Manila so we might check that out another time possibly on the way back maybe I don't know so heading kind of out of Batangas we're still staying in Batangas this evening but we're basically heading for a beach day we wanted to see what the beaches are like around this area because we haven't really been to beaches in Batangas before I mean if you need to have a like a booking and a resort if you need to pay for a room hopefully we can just go in like we don't mind paying for access to the beach yeah we want to be able to do that so we're gonna head there now I mean hopefully we can just go to one of these places if we need to go to a resort go and get lunch there and you have to get access to the beach 3 we don't know you guys will find out we'll try our best we just picked up some water in 7-eleven and just a quick note we've seen some comments not loads but some recently about kind of giving back and charity and this kind of thing we just want to say on this channel that I don't know I for example I just before you say this he's gonna sound like you're saying saying that you've done something for the sake of saying yeah yeah but actually it's happening what he does happen exactly they would like some girls begging basically in 7-eleven just then and they were buying noodles I won't tell you the full story but we Lucy and I we help them out a little bit we do this quite a lot when we're traveling when we see people that are in need we don't vlog it not because not because we have a problem with vlogging out or showing that I just don't think if there in that situation and they're begging for food because they need food because they're hungry if we then just start filming them with our camera I just think that's really disrespect and then our intention is on the vlog and and trying to get view if I see someone who need them with Lucy and I often do this we're very very generous we think when we go around and see people in need and see places and see poorer people and things like that we're always will have it by people food or give us some people money or whatever it is we've done this before we do it a lot it's just off camera so we've seen some comments recently saying you guys just go around you just have a nice time you don't you don't acknowledge the poor people or this cuts off we do we just don't do it on camera there's nothing wrong with people who do do it on camera but for us when we're doing that our intention and our thought process isn't let's get the camera out and film this exactly so for those people commenting we don't pander to the negativity and hate comments on the channel on the trolls and stuff but we just want to put a little message out that says just because we don't necessarily feel myself doing something it doesn't mean we're not doing it we don't have to film it to make ourselves feel good for doing it yourself or make ourselves look good to anyone yeah all right all with the road trip [Music] you such many people everyone's so smiley here so my eyes got a bit weird the aircon is really cold but it's too hot to not have it on and it's made my eye water loads and now I've been like touching it so my makeup doesn't run and now my eye looks really red but I'm fine everywhere we go pause everyone's like waving and smiling and it's just so nice we love being out in the countryside yeah I'm hungry again you're always hungry I know like seriously yeah always hungry all the time well what we have for lunch something grilled the Empire chicken chicken all right in the south they're just driving through tiny little villages and we come to there's a big sign for BMW motorad a huge like racing circuit oh let's take the lamandou on the track that's so Joey I don't think you you're allowed to just drive onto a racetrack Jordan no we can say like can we pay can we pay sometimes I do like track days where you can bring your own car but you can't just turn off just stopped off to use a toilet at this petrol station quick but it's so sunny today this is the best way we had in a very long time it's not only not raining but there's like it's a few clouds but there's Sun there's a lot of Sun it's very very hot so 35 degrees I think so I think it's a perfect day for us to have chosen to come to the beach however it's like midday now I've been driving a little while and it's gonna be really hot outside so maybe it means that there'll be less people on the beach I don't know and we still need to figure out this resort thing because I don't know if we're allowed to just walk onto a beach we have to like pay entry or have lunch somewhere which is fine by our ass hopefully we can just sit somewhere have lunch and they let us go on their beach yeah I don't know we don't want to book a room basically it's so hot outside it's crazy isn't it stay fired I'm getting even more hungry so looks like we have to pay be oh look at that cloud with lychee just turned up in the area and this huge gray clouds come any places yeah we've got a pair feel there's a guy running I guess you just have to admit that you are to own up that you are one because there's no yeah we could have gone right past but obviously we wouldn't do that I thank you just just us one two people one car thank you thank you sorry oh we're not we're just using we're just using the beach coming for lunch yeah thank you [Music] yeah so why don't you just literally have to be honest because we could have driven through that I'm sure we could have just carried on yeah maybe some ass to see that later yeah Wow can you do that so we're in San Juan now and we're just looking yeah Lalo's yeah I don't really know I'm basically they're just like hundred oh yeah done there there's hundreds of resorts it on here and I don't think you can access the beach in any way other than through a resort and but I'm not 100% sure but it's just like resort resort resort it's not-it's crazy yeah we definitely want to find lunch yeah we're very hungry but we're thinking we want to wait for lunch tour in a resort so that we can say we're gonna have lunch in your resort so we can use your Beach that's the plan go straight here this is so cool it's like a tiny little village II thing is yeah this must be a nice beach yeah true but how funny that there's no actual beach laughs it's all just been taken up by resorts I see yeah yeah first there's mountains as well hair as well it's beautiful it'll start to rain slightly but it's stopped again so I think is Christ oh this looks very narrow well but it's really off-road isn't it very much you must be expected to have a 4x4 if you come to this was hot of course easy maybe we should take the horse from here horseback riding on to the beach or is it a nice tied up hi good afternoon hi we're coming for lunch no no just a restaurant no restaurant ah no restaurant can we pay to use the beach are we able to use the beach yeah Beach okay call this to us not one good step okay thank you cool so we got through that part we just said we want to use the beach just want to visit cent okay I'll give you a visit to pass just swap your ID for a par so I'll get my driving license back at the end cool left and a cool so hopefully fingers crossed is that water I see okay so good news we spoke to the people at reception here and we can pay 250 pesos per person to use the beach here it's really quiet it's really like peaceful we've also paid a little bit extra and they've got like a Filipino food buffet here let's go and see what food we can get our hands on we're very very hungry now have a little bit of food check out the beach relax a little bit hopefully fly the drone dive we're allowed to do that but we'll try let's go and see this man Smith where we stayed in Romblon do from the first time I saw you you're not like the others a cool kind of melody you rattle my kids without warning tipped it up right till the morning a new kind of ecstasy the one I'd like to be a different side of me [Music] inside of me like someone pretty neat it's a fair inside of me yeah [Music] when you there are no stop signs counting down till we take flight it's how you make me feel yeah let's balance a can be easy I'm all for doing what raising you've made a good choice here guys looks pretty nice white sand it's been a while since we've seen any sand so this is pretty nice really cool beach is like rocky beach so the the sand is like an coral like quite rough and then be there's like rocks coming out the water but it's a nice blue color the sun's just come out there's mountains there's palm trees we've got this whole bed to chill on huge yeah let's have a little rest the foods in like one hour so have to wait for that but yeah look at the beach stunning you don't know how nice it is for us to get out of the city and this is actually what we wanted on this road trip it spent like three weeks nearly a Manilla which we obviously love because we chose to base ourselves there but of course we love the beaches the water we both grew up by water so if we have too long away from a beach or the ocean we don't get a little bit claustrophobic little bit funny so this is really super nice this is a nice resort here this is the la luz la Luz Resort don't thing else how you say it probably not but look how can you drive two hours we can drive to our nose bit further isn't it this one three hours from our apartment and we're here absolutely insane this is why we chose the Philippines with this is exactly why [Music]
