Hidden Gem Riverside Seafood Buffet in Bangkok! 🇹🇭 ALL YOU CAN EAT Thai Seafood Restaurant

Today we are going to be visiting a seafood buffet by the Chao Phraya river in Bangkok, Thailand. This seafood buffet offers a traditional buffet line as well as a made-to-order a la carte menu. And in this menu there's a wide array of seafood some with the traditional Thai flavors. All right guys we are back in Bangkok, Thailand. It feels so good to be back and one of the foods I wanted to try coming back to Bangkok was fresh Thai seafood and yes there's a wonderful selection of seafood here in Thailand. So I brought you out to Sea Fresh Riverside Buffet. This buffet is supposed to have a lot of seafood as well as a lot of Thai inspired seafood. So I'm really excited to have my first day back here in Thailand having some fresh seafood. Let's go inside. Right here it is guys. Sea Fresh Riverside Buffet and they have three different packages to choose from. We have the platinum, premium and standard and we're going with the standard today. The standard package here has a lot of good stuff too. You have oysters, you have river prawn, squid, also you have soft-shelled crabs over there. Look at that. You got soups, Tom Yum Goong, noodles. Also we have some shrimp cakes. You got a lot of different things here. Look at that pineapple fried rice. Look at that they even have shrimp tempura. Wow oh look at that. And also this buffet the way that you order is all in Thai but the waiter was really nice. We pointed out the pictures of what we wanted and then he checked off the list for us to put the order in. And there's two ways of having food here. You can order as well as a buffet line and we put an order in right now. Now we can go ahead and pick up our drink and get started on this buffet. All right time for a drink and the drinks are included as part of the buffet. And then we have some lemon tea, water, chrysanthemum tea. Also we have some pepsi 7-up and looks like orange soda. So you know what I'm gonna go with the orange soda today. All right let's go over to the buffet line and see what they have. So looks like a raw shrimp shooter. Looks like bitter melon and some chili in there. And then also he said put dipping sauce in there. So that's a shooter. There you go. Look at that. A seaweed salad. Looks really good. Let's try some seaweed salad. This is the oysters. The oysters look really good. Look at that. That is quite impressive. Yeah look at that. Wow. Excited to try those. Also for that they also have the fried shallots as well as some of the chili sauce. And that's I love to have. Looks like that. There you go. Yeah chili sauce. Also we have lime and garlic too. Also we have some shrimp. Looks really good. Some seafood dipping sauce. This is one of my favorites. Also you have a selection of wasabi, ginger, and also soy sauce for the sushi. So that's truffle soup. Also you have some pork soup. And then you have some fish soup. She's making some samtang. So this stuff is freshly made right on the spot which is really nice. So okay guys we got it. We got our first round of food and look at this amazing food selection we got. First of all we got some fried sea bass. And then over here we got some soft shelled crab. And this looks amazing. And also we got some wonderful river prawn. This looks really good. As well as some squid. And down here of course we had to get some pad thai and some vermicelli noodle seafood salad. Looks really good. And then we went to buffet line and got some fresh oysters as well as some shrimp and some shooters. Guys this is a lot of wonderful looking seafood. I'm really excited to dig in. Also you know what I'm really excited for Thai seafood. Alright guys we're gonna get started with the pad thai. The pad thai looks really good. I love to have lime on my pad thai. So I go ahead and kind of squeeze that all over. Oh look at this guys. Wow this pad thai looks amazing. And this is my first bite of pad thai coming back to Bangkok. Really exciting. Here we go. Oh that's good. Bouncy noodles. Also I love that tartness and the lime. Oh it's good to be back in Bangkok. The chives. Wow great combination. All right next we're gonna try these river prawns. Look how big they are. Wow. On these river prawns I love a little bit of a seafood dipping sauce right here in the prawn. And then we'll just dig it out. We also have the brain there. The innards. I'm a big fan of Thai river prawns guys. These are really good. And look all the meat you get out of here. Meat is a lot of meat. Look at that. That is a lot of prawn. Got the innards as well as some seafood dipping sauce. That was an awesome awesome bite. Really good. And one thing about the river prawn guys, you can order as much as you want. You can order just one river prawn or also you can order like 10 river prawn if you want to. All right next we're gonna move on to the sea bass. The sea bass looks really good. All right and they have some of this like dipping sauce. I don't know what this is. It looks like some oh chilies and some shallots in here. All right oh it looks like also might have some I don't know this looks like mango. I don't know what it is. Let's try it. All right guys here it is the fried sea bass. Oh my god that sea bass is so flaky and light. First we had the river prawn now we have sea bass. That's good. Also they had steamed sea bass on the menu as well. So but man this fried fish is really good. All right guys my wife was nice enough to get the river prawn deshelled before the pad thai. So I'm gonna go ahead and try this out. River prawn with the pad thai. Oh my gosh that's so good. River prawn are really tender. Also have a lot of flavor. It's really sweet. With the pad thai it's just another level. That's so good. And for my drink today I got the orange soda. All right next we'll move on to some soft-shelled crab. Look at this guys. Look at all this soft-shelled crab. Yeah I haven't had soft-shelled crab in ages. So I'm really interested to try this. But I'm gonna go ahead and try some all this topping on top of here. Just like that. Got the chilies on there. Oh my gosh. Let's put some chili on there. There it is. Throw some chilies on there. Look at all the chilies. Spicy. Oh my gosh. The chilies are fire. But the soft-shelled crabs are wonderful. Wow. This is a must get. Wow guys. The flavor is a really good. Also the crabs are fried so well that they just kind of fall apart. Really easy. Delicate. But man the flavor of this is so good. Soft-shelled crab. Add a little bit of seafood dipping sauce in this oyster. Let's see if I can get out of the oyster shell here. We got a little bit of a chili sauce as well as some fried shallots. Let's try this oyster out. Oh yeah. We got the salty briny little fried shallots. Really good on there too. Also the chili was really spicy. But yeah. Fresh oysters here at a buffet for 859 baht. Pretty good deal. Orange soda. This restaurant is really nice and we're actually near the Chao Phraya river which is the biggest river here around Bangkok. Also you can sit inside or also outside. And of course hot day today. We're sitting inside but at the same time if you want to sit outside by the river you definitely can. And yeah it's a wonderful view. I'm looking at the river right now. Alright guys and here it is. We have the shrimp shooter. It has bitter melon in here which I'm not a fan of bitter melon so I will not be eating this. But also it has a nice chili and also it has a raw shrimp. We have the garlic with the chili. You have the shrimp and also the seafood dipping sauce. Here we go. Oh it's been a while since I had Thai chili. So wow that's fire. It was good though. Alright here it is. We have the vermicelli seafood noodles. Look at this. You got some squid. Also we have some shrimp. Look at that. Beautiful looking shrimp. Also look at that. We have the chilies. We have pieces of pork. Wow this is a big seafood salad. I'm really excited to dig in. I know this is supposed to be part of the seafood salad but I'm just going to eat the shrimp by itself. Oh yeah that's good. All right let's try some of this vermicelli noodles along with some squid. Oh yeah. There you go guys. This salad looks really good. I'm a big fan of vermicelli noodles. Here you go. The chilies are really spicy. Yeah this first experience of having all this spicy food with Thai chilies is really kicking my butt. Wonderful also she's making this fresh seafood salad over there which is really nice. All right and then our final item here is going to be the steamed squid. You know a very nice presentation. Got a little bit of mint here and look at that. Steamed squid. We got some cabbage there too. Oh here also they have squid egg as well. Make a bite here with all three. Got cabbage, squid, squid eggs. Squid is super tender. Also the broth here is with the cabbage broth. It's a really light flavor but also had chilies in here too. So it's really spicy. Squid eggs guys you can't really taste squid eggs. It's more neutral flavor. So with squid tender when we steam it. Really good. I'll tell you what the first round of food. All this food is really really good. The quality of the food is impressive. On top of that it's a buffet so you can have as much as you want. But all right guys I'm gonna finish this off and move on to round two. But in the meantime perfect opportunity to smash like button, subscribe and we'll see you guys in round two. All right I'm ordering for a second round. I'm gonna pick out some of the homemade crispy pork. I haven't had crispy pork yet so there you go crispy pork. Also they have other things in the menu as well which is real nice. And they have pineapple fried rice with seafood. Over here they also have sushi. So I think we ordered some scallop sushi as well as some tuna and salmon. Also they have the wagyu sushi. I think it's wagyu sushi right? And then also we have over here the tempura. So I'm gonna get some tempura and I'm gonna try some dim sum. So the har gow as well as the shumai. And I think that is it for the second round. But we will be ordering dessert later. Okay they also have multiple packages here they can choose from. They have the platinum, they also have the premium and also the standard. And we chose the standard. But all the platinum package also has like foie gras. It also has scallops as well as wagyu as well. You can actually have yakiniku style wagyu. So that's a major difference between the different packages. But our package here we got sushi. We also have tempura options. Also we got a lot of seafood options as well as Thai food as well. So yeah we went for the standard because I want to try a lot of Thai food. That's my main focus of this as well as seafood. But everything we've had so far up to this point is really really good. Okay round two is starting. We have a few more items coming up. I want to go ahead and show you guys what we got right now. All right as you can see we got a selection of sushi as well as wagyu sushi. On top of that we got the crispy pork and then we also have some tempura. Let's go ahead and dig into some of this food while we wait for our other items. Okay we'll try this wagyu sushi. Let me go ahead and show you guys the rice underneath. There's the rice and it's gonna sear the top of wagyu as well as they have the tobiko and some sesame as well as green onions on there. That's a good bite. I mean typically the wagyu is like so big. The bite is so big. But this one is a perfect amount I think of wagyu with the rice. Also the meat is really tender. It's really good. All right and then we got some shrimp tempura. Look at this guys. It's freshly made. This tempura looks actually pretty good. Look at that really flaky. Okay I'm gonna some dipping sauce here. Wonderful crunch this tempura. Okay let's try some of the sushi. We have a little bit of the wasabi. I'm gonna take some of this. We'll try some of the salmon. A little dab of wasabi on the salmon. I'm gonna go ahead and dip it in some of the soy sauce here. That's good. All right let's try this tuna. A little dab of the wasabi. Let me go ahead and dip it in some of the soy sauce. Just like that. And one thing about the sushi too. They're making it from scratch right. They're making it right when you order it. So this is really fresh. Really good. A little bit of a ginger cleanse the palate. All right and then we have a little bit of octopus. A little bit of wasabi on this octopus. Dip it in here. Some of the soy sauce. Not bad. Has a chew to it. Of course this is not sushi restaurant quality sushi. But it's pretty good for this buffet. And of course if you order the premium set, you also have a bigger selection of sushi to choose from. But with our standard set, we only had like five or six selections we could choose from. All right here we go. This is the crispy pork. Oh my goodness. Look at this guys. This crispy pork looks so crispy. First bite of crispy pork here in Thailand. Can you hear that? That is amazing. Also they have like a lot of the seasoning that they have the soft-shelled crabs. So let me go ahead and grab a bite with this crispy pork and also the little crumbles around it. I know I came for the seafood but I can't pass up crispy pork. And then crispy pork with chilies, fried shallots, the garlic. Combination with that and the flavor of the pork. Really really good. Wow. All right and second round drink is gonna be pepsi. Also there is a three hour time limit to this buffet. But you don't have to worry about the limit guys because everything comes out really fast. But we just got the rest of our order. So let me go ahead and show you guys what we got. All right here it is. We ordered some dim sum. There it is. Shumai. Also we got the har gow. These are really little miniature har gow. And a little dipping sauce. There we go. Next we have the shumai. And this looks like a shrimp shumai. Do a little bit dip. That was yummy. I like the shumai better than the har gow. But we're gonna go ahead and finish this up and move on to our final round which is the dessert round. So be sure to stick around. Wagyu sushi. All right now let's go get some dessert. We have fresh fruit. Watermelon, papaya. Also we have some pineapple, orange, jackfruit. Look at that. Also they have mango and then also they have cake. What what kind of cake is that? The chocolate? Wow that's chocolate cake. Also they have this orange cake. Looks like orange. And then over here it looks like they have durian with the sticky rice. And durian sticky rice and then coconut milk. I also have some bananas and it also looks like it has some pears. And the avocado. It looks like taro. Also have the green jelly. So I think you have shaved ice and they have shaved ice dessert. There you go guys. Shaved ice. Yep. Also ice cream is an option too. Looks like two different kinds of ice cream flavors. That looks like vanilla. There you go. Also you have some jellies and also oreo. Yeah put a little oreo cookie on there. And then of course we can take a spoon. There it is. Oreo cookie. And pick up a little bit of papaya. Also we have a little bit of jackfruit. All right and we are on our final round which is a dessert round. Let me show you what I got. Guys I think durian is in season right now. So we have durian as well as some jackfruit and some papaya and some cake. Over here we got some vanilla ice cream and oreo cookie. And then finally we ordered some mango sticky rice. That's really nice. You got a variety of different desserts as well as Thai desserts. So let's go and dig in. All right here we go. Vanilla ice cream. That's really good. Of course we couldn't read the labels. So we didn't know which ice cream was which. But I think the other ice cream was chocolate. But this vanilla ice cream is really good. Also of course oreo cookie. Put that with the ice cream. Just like that. You can't go wrong with that. It's so good. All right and let's go try some of this mango sticky rice. Look at that. We put the order in for the mango sticky rice so they brought it to us. But that's pretty impressive they have mango sticky rice as part of the desserts. Get a piece of mango. Slippery. Let's get big sticky rice. There we go guys. Mango sticky rice. It's pretty hard to mess up mango sticky rice guys because the majority of it is the mango part right here. The mango is delicious. Don't get me wrong. Their sticky rice is also really good. Really soft, chewy, bouncy. Oh it's really good. Look at that lovely mango sticky rice. This is the ultimate dessert. If you ask anybody that's been to Thailand, they'll tell you get mango sticky rice. I'll tell you what they are not wrong. Get mango sticky rice. This mango is amazing. This is durian sticky rice and the smell of this. Yeah you know when you're around durian. Smell this. All right let's go ahead and take a piece of durian off here along with the sticky rice underneath. It looks like a custard. Pretty creamy and put it with a little bit of the sticky rice here. Oh there you go. Durian sticky rice. Let's give it a try. Actually this durian is probably a better quality durian because it's not too funky. It's actually a little bit sweet. A lot more sweeter than I expected but it has that custard kind of texture and also the flavor. It's kind of also like a custard too. Yeah this durian here. The smell will deceive you because the smell is not like the taste of this. So if you come here with durian and want to give it a try, this is probably a good place to try the durian because this durian sticky rice is pretty good. All right and then looks like these are like pre-made chocolate cake. I don't think they make this cake in-house but here you go. Standard chocolate cake. Very basic chocolate cake. All right guys that's gonna be it for today. I think we had a wonderful time. I'll tell you what the seafood on this buffet was really good and so being back here in Bangkok, I wanted to come back for the seafood and you know what I picked the perfect restaurant to do that.
