The girls were up bright and early but were having a ton of fun this morning. Jon and I had to poke a little fun at some of the harsh criticism that YouTube mama's get - yes, the title is sarcasm! This is our life you guys and we are not afraid to be transparent about that. We are real people who have real weaknesses.. but for every weakness there is strength given to us by God. We are super proud of where we are and what we prioritize in order to have a happy family who lives and learns and grows in grace. It was a long, exhausting day for me, so keep me in your prayers that Adeline will sleep tonight! We love you guys, as always- thanks for watching!
Are you being sweet to your sister?
Are you talking to her?
Good morning.
Is she getting you Judy?
Oh careful of that fork buddy.
Watch this guys.
Good job.
Tyler's cutting her food up by herself with a fork.
Now eat it.
Oh Judy's coming for it.
Judy you got a pancake on the table buddy.
Hi.
The cutest little cute I've ever seen.
Boo.
Whoa.
Look guys I was just showing John this picture of Jude with food.
And then here comes Jude with food.
Jude with more food.
Oh my goodness Judy.
What are you doing?
Go eat at the table.
She can't tell you what she's doing.
Go eat.
Go.
Watch out for Eddie.
No Tyler that's not a good idea.
Why don't you ask for help?
She did a good job by herself honey.
Yeah I see the other day when they did a good job by themselves getting syrup all over the floor.
That was Judy.
Adelyn what are you doing?
Oh she's got a full diaper here.
That's disgusting.
I can't believe that.
I'm gonna change her right now.
That's just disgusting.
What kind of parent let their kid have them pee in their diaper?
This will never happen again.
You'll never pee in your diaper again.
I know.
I can't believe she just woke up and her diaper is full.
It's full.
I just brought you downstairs and I haven't changed you yet.
I should change you immediately when you got up.
What was I thinking?
I'm so sorry.
I'm a terrible parent.
While you're at it clean up the house.
The house is a mess.
There's pancakes right there.
They just put pancakes right there.
It's disgusting.
And there's markers all over the floor.
What do you think you children?
And you live in this house?
You think we live in this house?
We don't live in this house.
This house is for show.
We're on YouTube people.
We're on YouTube and we need to make sure our house is always spotless and clean.
Do you understand me Judy?
And you're the worst of them all.
You poop by yourself.
It's disgusting.
I just don't want to see that.
See that's funny.
I'm furious.
I'm furious with this.
You just peed off.
What are you thinking?
Cut the camera.
And look at you.
That's your mommy.
Do it again.
You're a wild thing.
You guys.
These kids are wound up.
John gave Jude sugar again.
Look at her.
There she goes.
I know.
And she poured herself a big helping of syrup.
Judy!
Did you have too much sugar?
Are you crazy?
Whoa.
You should eat that.
Nobody wants to see that.
Chew it up buddy.
Anyway.
Let me just be really clear here.
This is our life.
And it's not clean or perfect or.
Sometimes it is.
Clean.
Sometimes the downstairs is clean.
And the upstairs is a mess.
No.
This is our.
It's never the whole house.
This is um.
Yeah but it's just real life.
Like if you don't have four kids under five.
And a husband that works three jobs.
And um.
You know.
YouTube and other videos that you make.
In your free time.
And a house to take care of.
And you couldn't probably understand.
Yeah.
Watch this.
Oh my goodness.
That was so silly.
Um.
That.
Yeah.
Our house is not going to be clean because we live here.
And because we have other more important things.
Every bit of downtime during the day is not.
For me it's not a priority to spend.
Even though some days I really do like to clean.
And get caught cleaning.
Um.
It's just not a priority over our kids.
And over spending time with them.
Or going places and doing things with them.
We could spend every single day cleaning up.
Cleaning up.
Um.
But why would we do that when we have children that are going to grow up very quickly.
And move out way sooner than we're probably going to be ready for.
So no.
We're going to enjoy our time.
Right?
We're going to enjoy our time as a family.
Where we all live here together.
And where they're small.
And they love us still.
Um.
And I'm not going to worry about the other stuff.
I'm not going to worry about the house being clean.
I'm not going to worry about the mistakes that I make.
Because I'm sure I'm going to make them.
I'm sure one day I'm going to look back and go.
I wish I had done things a little differently.
But you know what?
God's grace covers all of that.
And it's a wonderful thing.
What's happening?
Elena.
Okay.
I'm going to hug you both.
Oh.
Hi Elena.
What happened buddy?
Alright.
Now Elena's turn.
Let me hug Elena.
It's Elena's turn for the hug.
Okay.
See.
We did turns.
Oh.
You want to come in too?
Let's do a triple hug now.
One.
Two.
Three.
A three hug.
Oh.
Look.
I love this.
I love my girls.
And there's number four.
Well.
You're three.
Look.
And there's little Adeline.
She spit up.
Baby.
You're my baby.
She's your baby.
Tyler.
Can you help her get her arm out from under her?
She's my baby.
There.
Oh.
There you go.
She's my baby.
Whoa.
I see you brought all your My Little Ponies down here.
Yeah.
What are they for?
They for a trick.
Okay.
Well.
We're going to go upstairs and clean your room in just a little bit.
I know.
I just said that.
I know.
But we do that together.
Right?
That's part of our.
Yeah.
That's part of our teaching how to clean up after ourselves.
Do this.
And that.
Don't move.
Oh my.
I don't know what you're saying.
Are you going to help me clean up your room today?
Okay.
Good.
We'll do that in just a little.
Let mommy eat breakfast and then we'll clean your room.
I love you.
Show everyone how high you can jump.
Go ahead.
Ready?
Wait.
Ready?
One.
Two.
Three.
Elena, where did you go?
Tyler, you show everyone how high you can jump.
I miss mommy.
I miss mommy and Adeline.
Show me how high you can jump.
One.
Two.
Three.
Whoa.
Elena's turn.
Whoa.
Cuties.
Watch this.
Oh my goodness.
You're wild.
Yeah.
Judy, get down.
Whoa.
Wow.
That was wild.
Are you going to play leapfrog?
Tyler, you can't jump over her.
I flip.
I saw you flip.
It was wild.
So, we got a bed, our new bed from our friends Tom and Susan and their company, Donnelly
and Company.
That's what it's called.
We are putting together a video for our room of just all the stuff we did and their bed's
going to be included in that.
That should be done hopefully in the next week or so.
They also got us this shelf.
We were going to put it in our room.
He made it.
It's the same wood and the same kind of stain and everything as the bed.
We were going to put it in the room, but it's a little bit longer than we were kind of thinking.
It goes with our bed, but it looked a little weird up there, so we ended up not using it
there.
We're going to end up putting it on the wall back here.
Get rid of those stinking Christmas wreaths.
Thank goodness.
And so, here it is.
We're excited because we need to add more stuff to our house, so we're really grateful
for them for making that for us.
That's just kind of a bonus thing that they did for us, so we really appreciate that and
we're going to be putting it up now.
You know we were doing that?
Yeah, I did.
I talked about it.
John's been killing me.
Okay, not killing me.
He's been so irritated about me leaving those Christmas wreaths up.
To be honest, I had nothing else to put there and I just thought it was better than nothing.
But, thank you to our friends, our best friend's dad owns like a furniture woodworking company.
He's a carpenter.
He's really good at what he does.
He actually made our bed frame.
He made us the shelf at the same time, but it doesn't really fit as well as we want it
to in our room, so we're like, let's put it downstairs.
So, it's actually perfect and we love it and John's so happy to not have Christmas wreaths
up anymore.
Isn't it pretty, guys?
Well, it is 7.15.
The kids are just out eating dinner.
I am officially ready to quit today.
They've just not really listened.
Tyler has not napped today and she's been really miserable talking back.
She was not listening to anything that I'm telling her, so that's very frustrating.
Jude is, you know, she's been up for a long time, so she's tired too and she's just kind
of all over the place and just wearing me out.
She won't hold still for five minutes.
And then, Elena's fine.
She's doing fine.
But, I'm so ready to put them in bed and then clean up and edit this vlog.
So, see you guys tomorrow.
Hope you have a good night.
Hope you had a good day.
The weekend is coming, everybody.
Hang tight.
One more day and then it's the weekend.
You guys say goodnight?
Goodnight.
Say goodnight.
See you tomorrow.
Get that out of your mouth, please.
It's a plastic cupcake.
Let's eat our real dinner first.
Eat your real dinner and then you can eat that.
Say goodnight.
See you tomorrow.
No.
Yep.
There's the attitudes.
They're real, people.
They're real.
Alright.
See you later.
