A man attempted to break into our neighbor's house! He ran and disappeared when the cops showed up but showed back up as soon as they left. The girls were napping while Danielle looked for the guy out of the windows to make sure her and the girls would be safe.
So, that's what's going on right now. I
went around. I locked all the doors.
I've got my gun in my hand. I was like,
"What's about to happen? This is about
to get really crazy. Oh my goodness. I'm
going to have to shoot
[Music]
somebody.
[Music]
Help me. Got to go. It's official. My
hair is out of control. I need a
haircut.
What's going
on? I'll get down.
The monster's giving me help. The chie
monster's getting her.
run from her. Judy, get out of there.
Judy likes to stick her fingers in the
deep freeze and get the ice and lick it
off. Probably going to get her finger
stuck in there one day if she keeps
doing that. So trying to get her to stop
doing that.
Yeah, I messed up again. Hey,
so they call her Judy Monster and she
turns into a monster and then starts
chasing them and I think she likes it. I
didn't really wouldn't want them to call
her Judy Monster cuz I don't want them
to make her single her out, you know, as
a little girl. Anyways, Daniel's going
to the doctor today with Adeline and I
guess she's taking Elena with her and
I'm going to take the other girls to the
park. So, we're on our way to the
playground. I got Tyler who's running up
ahead with me and uh obviously his
little buddy right here. Cutie appauce.
Applesauce. Oh, she talking about some
applesauce. So, we're going to go play
for a little bit while Danielle's at the
doctor and then uh I have to go to work
a little later. I wish we had more stuff
that we could just run and do real quick
around here for Tyler. What is that?
Anybody got any ideas of some things
that might be uh
local for us, you know, that we could go
do.
Just what do you guys do with your kids
throughout the weeks that are fun for
them and exciting for them? We always
need new ideas and so because I feel
like we're always doing the same thing.
That's why I kind of brought them over
here. Uhuh. Stay over here. Stay over
here. It's a It's a bee to the park. So
Oh, I guess I'm back to the park. All
right. Is this not fun? Yeah. Yeah.
Well, anyways, we always need new ideas.
So, if you guys have any
ideas, please feel free to shoot them
our way. So, we'd like to do new things
with these kids. Found a pineapple cone.
A what? Pineapple cone. Wait, say that
again. It's a pineapple cone. A
pineapple cone. It's what? It's just a
pine cone. A pine cone? Yeah. It's
disgusting. Oh, sorry. Tyler just said,
"Hey, I found a pineapple cone.
You're sweet. You're cute. Hey, did you
say hi to the trees?
Abby.
Abby. Abby.
You said hi to the trees.
Abby. Abby.
She said hi trees. I said hi to the
trees. And she said hi water. There's
some water. little creek down there. She
said, "Hi, water." I said, "Hi to the
water." She's sweet. She's going up
fast,
too. And when she turned to you, she
could say like one
word. Come on. Get away from the road on
the
sidewalk. Come on over here.
Yeah, you did. When she turned two, Jude
could say like nothing. And now she's
already carrying on conversations
almost. I mean, she could speak a little
bit. You know, you saw I love this
little
run. Up. You got to run. Hold on, Tyler.
Get your
cup. I'll get it. I'll get it. Okay, you
guys. So, the kids are all napping. And
I'm like, you know, getting ready to get
clean in the kitchen, like, okay, got so
much stuff to do. I don't want to do it.
So, I was procrastinating like I
normally do on any given day.
And I was looking at Facebook.
Sorry. Um, okay. So, I was looking at
Facebook and one of my neighbors posted,
"Just FYI, somebody tried to break into
our house just now." Um, one of our
neighbors posted, "Just FYI, somebody
tried to break into our house right now.
Um, he took off running up the road."
They said the road's name, which
happened to be the road that we live on,
which is not a very long road. So, I was
like, "Oh, okay. All right." So, that's
what we're dealing with right now. I've
got our gun. My grandpa gave it to us.
This cute little revolver. It's um just
my size. It is loaded, but I am walking
around with my finger off the trigger.
And the bullet's actually not in the
first chamber because as much as I like
having a gun, as much as I like knowing
that if anybody did get into our house,
get to the door, even get in the door
window, they would not make it to our
kids because we would take them out. Um,
so as good as I feel knowing that
they're safe and that it provides a
safety, I don't want to have to shoot
anybody. I will if I have to, but I
really don't want to carry that burden
um for the rest of my life. So, I figure
I'm not trying to like accidentally
shoot somebody either. So, you know,
that's just I've got it just in case,
but I'm planning to not have to use it.
And my neighbor said they did call the
cops. So, I'm thinking with that that I
probably will be fine. I'm sure the guy
got spooked. I'm sure he ran away. But I
keep pacing. Do you see me? I'm like
looking out the windows. Do you see
anybody? I don't see anybody. That's our
tiny backyard. Then I go to the front.
Look out those windows. So anyway,
that's what I'm doing now. I really need
to get back to what I was doing. It's
just so hard I want to clean up. I have
this great distraction. It's great
reason to keep walking back and forth
and looking out the
windows. But
um pretty exciting. All the kids are
safe. Adeline's over there in her swing.
I have the back doors locked. I have the
curtains closed. You see anybody? Do you
guys see anybody? Can you see? I'm not
that tall. I don't think so. This is why
I want a big dog. Francis is not very
intimidating. If somebody tried to break
in and they heard, they would be like,
"That sounds like a dog I can step on,
so I'm not
worried. But I also think a big dog
needs bigger poop, and we don't need all
that." Okay. Well, I'm going to go for
now. I just thought I'd let you guys
know about this crazy drama that's
happening. There's a neighbor in
neighbor's
home. Pretty intense. Okay, the kids are
going to wake up soon, so I'm going to
get back to cleaning. I'm pretty sure
we're safe. So, don't worry. By the time
you see this, we're definitely going to
be safe. It's
okay. Okay, I can't stop looking. I feel
neurotic now. I keep looking out the
window. All right. Jesus has protection
to cover us
all. God will protect our family and
yours. And so, I know that and I trust
that. So, I'm going to actually put the
camera down. I'm going to keep my phone
down. I'm going to put the gun away and
I'm going to get back to work. See you
guys. The day is saved. The day is
saved. The police showed up and they
apprehended the suspect. Um, anyway, I
witnessed it go down. It was pretty
crazy. I was just doing my walk through,
you know, like I've been doing all day.
Looked out the window and I saw it
walking right there. right by our house
and he had his green shirt and a hat on
and he was just walking like he belonged
here. And so he kept going and I saw one
of our neighbors a couple houses down
and I posted about him. So I went
outside and I was like, "What's going
on?" And he was in a model house the
street that way and then the cops
weren't showing up. Then he came back
out and walked down and walked right
past us while we were outside talking
and I was like, "This is getting crazy."
And so then we had a neighbor that was
following him that was so
brave, but at first I thought the
neighbor was his accomplice and I was
like, "What's about to happen? This is
about to get really crazy. Oh my
goodness. I'm going to have to shoot
somebody." But I didn't. Don't worry.
Our brave neighbor stopped him and he
said he was looking for his dog, which I
don't know who looks for dogs in
people's windows, but I guess anything
goes these days. So after that, the
police finally showed up. They
apprehended him. I don't know. It wasn't
really a big deal. I guess they just
started talking to him. They took him.
Who knows what happens. I didn't hear
the rest. But I know that the day is
saved. And so now I'm going to get stuff
done because I did not before. I did
not. I have not gotten anything
accomplished. So that's what I'm going
to do now because the kids are going to
wake up any minute and I have to make
dinner still and clean up. So that's
what I'm going to do. It's been a crazy
day. You could tell my adrenaline is a
little bit going right now because that
was intense. I've never
had a suspected burglar on the prow in
our neighborhood before in the middle of
the day. I'm glad it wasn't the middle
of the night because I'm probably
freaking out a lot more. But at least
John would have been home then. He's not
very far away. He He said he would come
home if I needed him to. But, you know,
I'm pretty brave, guys. Okay, got to go.
Kids will be up soon. My arm's getting
tired to be honest. See you later.
Okay, latest update. Apparently the guy
lives in our neighborhood and is
struggling with some PTSD and issues.
So, I'm not really sure what was going
on. But we will be
It's okay. There's something for her,
too. We will be very careful from now on
and paying close attention whenever
we're home and at night. All right.
Elena's got a gift that came in the
mail. And so she's Wait. Whoa. Whoa.
Whoa. Whoa. Whoa.
She's not going to get it if she doesn't
have a grateful heart. Well, then we
need to have a grateful heart and be
thankful. I'm trying to me.
You kiss it. Okay, I'll kiss it. But you
have to ask nicely. May I get it,
please? Yeah.
Okay. So, Tyler's across the street
playing with the neighbor. So, I thought
maybe I give Elena something fun to open
up just to play with since she didn't
get to go the table. Okay, hold on. I
will get you off the table. Let's all be
nice or you cannot open it, buddy. I'd
like for you to open it, but you have to
have a happy attitude and show me that
you're thankful.
That's not nice, Judy. That's not nice.
She's being a little sister. She gets
that from John. Okay, there you go. What
is that? A puzzle. A
puzzle. Whoa. Look,
you do that one and I do this one. In
case you guys have not seen yet, Elena
is a puzzle master. This girl is doing
96 piece puzzles, 48 piece puzzles.
She's crazy. She's 3 years old. We have
one puzzle that has the states. She
literally knows almost all of the
capitals of the states in our country at
every month. I actually have to get a
video of that and show you guys cuz it's
pretty funny. Like this, right? Hey.
Hey. Okay. What's the capital
of Georgia? Georgia. Atlanta. South
Carolina. Columbia.
South Carolina. Columbia. What's Wait.

See guys, she's crazy. She's like a
powerhouse. We could do this all day.
Maybe I will. Maybe I'll video her doing
all her stuff. It's kind of funny. Whoa.
