The WORST Plays In The NFL!

These were the worst plays we saw in the NFL this season.
And the first one perfectly describes the Giants in 2024.
Meanwhile, I'm still trying to figure out what Jordan Love was thinking on this play.
This next play will show you why Keenan Allen is a wide receiver and not a quarterback.
But sometimes even the best players will make some bad plays
like Justin Jefferson dropping this wide open touchdown.
This next player dropped a wide open pass after trying to use his face to catch the ball.
But what if I were to tell you that two players both made the same terrible play
just weeks apart from each other. This is Malachi Corley and on Thursday Night Football
he was able to score his first career touchdown.
But after they reviewed the play, they found that the Jets receiver dropped the
ball before he crossed the goal line, meaning that the touchdown did not count.
But that was a rookie mistake, and surely other players saw that and made sure they
were more conscious about when they let go of the football, right?
Well, after a few weeks it seems that Jonathan Taylor forgot about the memo.
I mean, how hard is it to hold on to the dang ball?
Unfortunately for the Colts, that wasn't even the worst play that they had in that game.
In fact, that play was so terrible that the Jets thought they could do it better
and failed miserably.
But that's not nearly as bad as when the Cowboys tried to pull off this fake punt.
And you know what they say, Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again
and expecting a different result each time.
Even the Super Bowl champions tried to get tricky themselves
and instead got blown up immediately.
And now that we are in the top 10, these players are going to be
so much worse than any of the ones you have seen so far.
Was someone able to throw the ball?
Because on Kenny Pickett's worst play, man, I don't even know how to describe this.
It literally looked like the ball he was trying to throw weighed 500 pounds.
And just because you win NFL MVP,
doesn't mean you are exempt from making some crappy plays of your own.
Good thing he didn't have many of those during the season
or else we'd be looking at Lamar as a three time MVP.
But nothing sucks more than dropping a pass that you know you should have caught.
And what's even worse is the variety of outcomes those drops have.
Sometimes they result in a turnover.
Other times they result in an interception not happening.
But worse of all is when you have a wide open touchdown,
but just aren't able to secure the ball.
However, this next player just seems to be filled with nothing but bad plays.
This is Will Levis, and despite his potential,
he seems to be making a name for himself for his mistakes.
Whether it's throwing game losing pick sixes.
Or trying too hard to make something out of nothing.
Or getting absolutely demolished and fumbling the ball.
It seems that every week, Levis is making a play worse than the week before.
And it doesn't help that he manages to look hilarious each time doing so.
But none of those are as bad as when a player got instant karma after taunting some fans.
In week 8, the commanders pulled off the play of the year.
After Jaden Daniels threw a Hail Mary to win the game as time expired.
Here comes the Hail Mary with the game on the line.
And the ball is caught!
Is that right before the ball was snapped?
Bears corner Tyrik Stevenson was caught taunting Washington fans.
And continued to do so as the play was going on.
And if you watch the Hail Mary back again closely,
you'll never believe who it was that tipped the ball into Noah Brown's hands.
That's right, after making fun of the crowd,
Stevenson ended up being responsible for one of the most iconic plays that we have ever seen.
But sometimes the worst plays don't come from players, they come from the coaches.
When the Bears played the Lions on Thanksgiving Day,
Chicago had the chance to pull off a massive upset over their division rival.
And while driving down the field, down by 3 with less than 40 seconds left,
Caleb Williams took a huge sack, making things even harder for the Bears.
And despite having a timeout left, head coach Matt Eberfloos decided not to use it.
And what followed is some of the worst clock management that you will ever see.
Instead of using the timeout to actually come up with a game plan,
Chicago wasted so much time and failed miserably.
The whole debacle was so bad that the Bears fired their head coach,
But the worst play in the NFL this year came when this simple mistake
led to his team getting eliminated from the playoffs.
In the AFC Divisional, the Ravens and Bills put on an absolute show,
playing one of the closest games we have seen all season.
And down by 8 with less than 2 minutes left,
Lamar Jackson came up clutch with this touchdown.
All Baltimore needed was a 2 point conversion to tie the game
so they would have a chance at winning the game in overtime.
But what followed is one of the most gut-wrenching mistakes you will ever see an NFL player make.
