Today I want to create a really angelic makeup look. So I'm thinking something that's soft and
sweet, rosy cheeks and lips, but then I want to add all kinds of like sparkly, glossy, glowy,
glittery details. So it's going to have a very celestial feel, but kind of that romantic
pastoral feel like you're romping through the meadows in the summer. So I'm excited for this
one. I think it's going to be really wearable, but also have a lot of impact. So let's get into
it. Foundation and brows are already on. And today my goal with these pinks is to make sure that I'm
making it harmonious with my skin tone. In the past when I've done more saturated pinks, they
always turn out too cool and kind of pop against my skin, but I'm hoping to play with some tones
that are just going to go really nicely. So I'm going to start with this Wonderskin lip tint.
These are those viral lip tints with the blue lip mask that you pull off. And this is the shade
Whimsical, very fitting name, that's described as a warm rose. So it's a pink shade, but it's got some
warmth to it. Now I've tried these out a few times and I found, you know, you have to get used to
what works best for you and finding like how long you want to leave the mask on for how much pigment
you want. As you can imagine, leave it on for longer, you get a lot darker pigment. Leave it on
for shorter, you get a really nice lip stain. You're going to want to start with dry exfoliated
lips. So if you have a lip balm on like me, wipe it off and wipe it off well. And no matter what
depth of tint you want, you're going to want to build this mask up so that it has an opaque,
even layer. This is what's really key for getting that really even pigment distribution. I'm going
to leave mine on for about 30-40 seconds before spraying it with the activator and then peel. Such
a cool process. And yeah, this turned out pretty saturated even when I didn't leave it on for the
full minute. I'm going to now use a lip liner. This is also from Wonderskin and it's the shade
Rosewood, which is described as a toffee rose. And I'm going to use this to just refine the lip line
and clean it up a little bit. This is definitely the type of lip liner that seems like it's not
going to budge. Now I'm going to finish it off with the Wonderskin Plumping Gloss. I've never
used a plumping gloss on my channel, so let's see how it goes. Definitely thinking a lot of gloss
to go with all the shimmer and glow I'm planning. So the gloss just has like a minty feel instead
of that really stingy quality that a lot of plumping glosses have. Now the color turned
out a lot darker than I was planning, but I'm not mad at it because it's such a pretty shade.
It reminds me of like a cranberry. So I'm going to keep the rest of the look a little bit softer
to honor that more angelic feel I'm going for. I definitely want to bronze up. I'm using the Rare
Beauty Bronzer Stick in Bright Side. I've really been loving bronzer lately. I've just found it's
been working well with a lot of my different blush shades I've been using and just really
just brings the look home. And I think that leaning into the pastoral side of this
look idea, I just want to look very sun-kissed. But I'm leaving the eyes alone. Normally I join
my bronzer to my eye. I'm going to be doing a more of a cool tone eye, so I don't want to get
bronzer there. Really keeping it higher up on the face, going right over the nose even.
Now I'm going to use the Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Blush. This is in Rosé and Brunch. It's
described as a neutral rosy pink. So keyword being neutral, I'm looking for pinks that
don't lean too cool. I'm going to really blend this into the bronzer and create a very blushy
look. And you know, bring it down in my favorite, favorite way. Then blend it up into the bronzer
as well. I think that cheek and lip look really pretty together. Okay, that was way too much.
Whoops. No worries. We all know what to do. Grab your foundation brush and stipple over it. In
fact, I just do this every time I apply blush. It just like melds everything together. Okay,
now for the eyes. I don't want to go in with something too cool so that it looks like a huge
contrast to the cheeks and like just this really flushed, very romantic look. But I do still want
to lean into something cool. So I'm going to do a bit of a combination of things. The first thing
I'm going to do is start with the Stone Cold Box Palette from ColourPop and go right into,
I guess, you know, this white here. It's a little bit softer, more of an ivory white than a super
cool white. And I'm going to lay that down on the first, the first front half of the eye. So inner
corner all the way to the center. I'm just stopping halfway. Then I'm going to shift over to the
Kaleidos Escape Pod Palette and go into this more warm ivory and place that on the outer half of the
lid and blend it into that slightly cooler white. Now I'm going to go into this shade here, Bossa Nova,
that's like a taupe, and I'm going to use that to create a very, very soft swooping wing. Nothing
precise, just to like extend the eye and create a little bit of almost lift at the end there.
I'm using the lighter color so it's just a lot softer. It's a really nice way to extend the eye
without committing to like a full-blown liquid liner or even a black liner. And you can always
take like a flat dense brush to clean it up. Then I'm going to put a little bit of this shade also
right here for a little bit of definition for the under eye. Now I'm going to use this shimmer here
called Starlight Sonata. It's more of a sort of champagne shade. So it's got that warmth to it
that I do want, but it's going to be really, really sparkly to contribute to more of that
angelic feel. Kaleidos shimmers are so good. I want to go into a secondary shimmer with the Fenty
Diamond Bomb. I forgot to mention this product in my favorite ethereal makeup products. I really
should have because this is such a great soft, soft, soft shimmer. And I'm going to add this to
the inner corner a little bit kind of like where I put that white and like transition it into the
other shimmer. Essentially exactly what I did with the mattes. It's very subtle, but the differences
between the shimmer like you can see that these particles are a lot finer up close. And then I'm
also going to put this one here and put it quite a quite a bit lower. Even just a touch lower than
I normally do with this because it's such a soft shimmer and it doesn't have much pigment to it.
It's got like a translucent base, so there's not going to be any strange like pigment. It's just
purely beautiful starlight. At this point, I'm going to do my lashes off camera and I'm also
going to pop a white in the waterline and then we're going to finish off the complexion. Do some
little finishing touches to this look. Okay, for the finishing touches, I'm just going to add a
little bit of glow and sparkle to the cheekbone. I'm going to use Merit Kava, which has been a
very favorite of mine. Just adds a bit of that wet sheen that isn't too much. Place that on the temples
as well. And then for fun to lean in to a little bit of this whimsical feel, I'm going to use the
Diamond Bomb again and just put a touch of it on top of that highlighter. Just enough to have a
little bit of sparkle there too. And this is the finished makeup look. I really love it. It's kind
of balancing things I've been really gravitating towards in my makeup style lately, but it still
does have a touch of the drama I used to really love in my old makeup style with the lips being
a little darker than I intended. But again, not mad at it. I find it all together creates a really
interesting effect and just does feel interestingly balanced with these more angelic celestial eyes,
but then really rosy cheeks and then a little bit more drama on the lip. I think it ties in quite
nicely. As much as I still want it to be evocative of something a little bit more timeless, it does
also feel very modern. I think it's really fun. I'm really loving all this sheen and shimmer
and the way it ties in with these little earrings. Yeah, love this. I am really happy with this one.
Let me know in the comments down below if there's any more kind of thematic muses you want me to
conjure. I always love mixing together different aesthetics and different energies. It's my
favorite part of makeup and my favorite part of aesthetics and style in general because you
always come up with something new and it doesn't have to involve doing something super complicated,
you know? Alright friends, that's it for today. Toasty! Let's take it away. Thanks so much to
everybody for sticking it out until the end. Definitely consider looking at my Patreon
link down below as a way to further support the channel. There I do monthly makeup rituals. We're
about to go into July, so I have something planned for that. And I do a little bit more chatty videos,
some behind the scenes stuff, share mood boards as I create them. And until next time, may you all
find yourselves a little bit of makeup magic, and we will see in the next video. Bye, witches!
