Thomas had always believed there were
truths buried beneath myths forgotten
relics scattered beneath oceans and
jungles, waiting for someone brave
enough to dig them up. Before we
continue, please take some time to
subscribe to Daily Dose, like and share
this video. But never in his wildest
dreams did he think he would be the one
to unearth a story that had haunted
local legends for generations. The day
he pulled that rusting fuselage from the
deep, something changed. And even though
his colleagues warned him some half-
joking, others genuinely afraid that the
object might be cursed, Thomas didn't
listen. How could he? He had touched
history with his own two hands. What he
didn't realize, however, was that this
was not the beginning of his fate was
the start of his nightmare. It all began
with a sunken airplane that Thomas
discovered during one of his solo diving
expeditions. Rumors had swirled for
years about an aircraft that had
vanished decades ago. Believed by most
to be the subject of children's stories
or conspiracy theories. But Thomas, an
amateur scientist with a deep obsession
for mysteries, had stumbled upon it. The
weathered metal frame draped in seaweed
and barnacles matched descriptions he'd
seen in obscure historical documents.
But what made his pulse quicken was what
lay inside. Something someone moved. It
was impossible. Yet he swore he heard
knocking from the cockpit window. Could
it be? Could someone have survived all
this time? He rushed to get a closer
look, swimming around the wreck in
search of a way inside. The plane had
only one visible entrance. A heavily
reinforced window in the cockpit. With
his oxygen running low, Thomas tried to
break through the glass, but it didn't
budge. Desperate, he pounded on it,
hoping for any kind of response. That's
when he heard it again. A knock from the
inside. Terrified and exhilarated,
Thomas knew he couldn't linger. He
needed more air, more tools, more
answers. As he began his ascent back to
the surface, something else caught his
attention. A shadow beneath the
aircraft. Large, shifting, and fast. But
before he could make sense of it, he
surfaced and headed for his boat. As he
climbed aboard and turned the motor
toward the nearest town, the sky
darkened suddenly. The calm motion he'd
known just moments before turned
violent. Thunder cracked overhead and
thick rain pelted the sea like bullets.
Waves grew into towering monsters that
tossed his small vessel like a toy.
Thomas gritted his teeth and tried to
steer through the storm, but it was no
use. A massive wave slammed into the
side of his boat, sending It Thomas
crashing into the sea. He struggled to
swim. limbs heavy, vision blurring, the
boat disappeared beneath him, and for a
moment, Thomas believed he would vanish
with it. Hours passed. Thomas, soaked
and shivering, clung to a piece of
floating debris. When morning finally
broke, his senses barely registered the
two fishermen hauling him aboard their
boat. He coughed, groaned, and slipped
in and out of consciousness. When he
opened his eyes again, he was in a
strange village nowhere near where he
had launched his expedition. The people
were wary, avoiding his gaze. Their eyes
followed him with suspicion, as if they
already knew something about him. Hungry
and disoriented, Thomas wandered through
the village in search of food, shelter,
and a way back to the wreck. But every
door he knocked on was slammed in his
face until finally a dimly lit bar
welcomed him in. There he found warmth,
a meal, and even a small room to sleep
in. But nothing came for free. The
bartender, an older man with piercing
eyes, asked what Thomas had found at
sea. Rumors had already spread. They
believed he had retrieved treasure and
was hiding it. Thomas explained the
truth, or at least the parts he could.
He mentioned the sunken plane, the
knocking, the mysterious object inside,
but most villagers dismissed him as a
raving lunatic, except for one. Sitting
in the darkest corner of the bar was a
man who hadn't moved all night. As the
room emptied, he rose and approached
Thomas. "My name's Andy," he said. "They
call me the town freak. I believe your
story." Andy was strangest, voice shaky,
his body twitching as he spoke, but he
was the first to listen. He claimed to
know about the plane. He even believed
that it was connected to an old urban
legend cursed treasure stolen from a
temple said to doom anyone who touched
it. Thomas, skeptical but desperate,
agreed to let Andy help. They made a
plan to return to the site the next
morning. That night, Thomas couldn't
sleep. Visions of the wreck, the
knocking, the shadow in the water. They
played over and over in his head. Maybe
the plane was cursed. Maybe Andy wasn't
so crazy after all. Determined to find
the truth, Thomas crept out in the
middle of the night and made his way to
the village library. If there was any
truth to Andy's story, someone must have
written about it. He searched the
archives for hours until he found a
dusty, torn up book. Inside it was a
black and white photo of a temple and a
missing aircraft matching the one he'd
found. Heart pounding, Thomas tried to
copy the page when he noticed someone
lurking in the shadows of the library.
Could it be the same person who had
followed him earlier that night?
Terrified, Thomas rushed out, but
someone was waiting for him at the door.
He braced for the worst, only for the
figure to smile and ask, "Need help
reaching the top shelf?" It was just a
librarian. Laughing nervously, Thomas
nodded and left with the book. When he
returned to his hotel room, Andy was
already waiting, sitting beside his bed
like a ghost. "I knew you'd find it," he
whispered. Thomas didn't know whether to
be creeped out or grateful. Andy's
presence was unnerving, sat still,
unmoving, eyes locked on Thomas as if
he'd been watching him sleep. Without a
word, Andy stood and walked out of the
room. Thomas, still processing the
moment, followed him down to the hotel
lobby. Whatever weirdness had just
occurred, he needed Andy now more than
ever. They set out for the docks where
Thomas hoped to rent a small boat and
gear. As they walked side by side,
Thomas kept stealing glances at Andy.
The man mumbled to himself occasionally,
laughed at things that weren't said, and
twitched in odd ways. Thomas began to
wonder whether bringing Andy was a
mistake. But the truth was, Andy had
information knowledge about the legend,
the plane, and the mysterious treasure
that no one else did. And right now,
Thomas needed that more than peace of
mind. After some haggling with a
skeptical boat owner, they managed to
rent a small vessel and enough scuba
gear to make a proper dive. Thomas
checked their equipment twice. He wasn't
going to repeat the mistakes of his
first dive. With Andy now fully invested
and surprisingly calm, they sailed out
in search of the crash site. The waves
were gentler this time. No storms on the
horizon, but the tension between them
made the sea feel heavy with
anticipation. Reaching the site proved
harder than expected. Without GPS
coordinates, they were forced to rely on
memory. After nearly an hour of circling
the open waters, Thomas finally spotted
the familiar shape deep beneath the
waves. The twisted metal wings, the
shattered tail fin. The plane they
anchored the boat, geared up, and
descended slowly into the water. It was
deeper than Thomas remembered. 20 m
down, the wreck came into full view,
eerie and ghostly beneath the blue. But
this time, Thomas had brought tools.
With a crowbar in hand, he motioned for
Andy to help him pry open the window.
The thick glass resisted at first, then
gave way with a deep groan and a burst
of rising bubbles. The two men peered
inside and froze. There in the pilot's
seat was a body mummified by time and
pressure, its skin leathery, its
clothing fused to its bones. But
something about it seemed wrong. The
arms were outstretched as if reaching
for something, its eyes still open,
stared straight forward, lifeless yet
full of horror. And clasped in its chest
was a bundle wrapped in faded cloth.
Without hesitation, Thomas reached in
and grabbed it. Back on the boat, they
unwrapped the cloth. Inside was
something neither of them expected. It
was a large gem flawlessly cut,
shimmering with an inner light, a
diamond, unlike any Thomas had ever
seen. But embedded within the gem was
something Elsie, small metallic object.
It looked ancient, etched with symbols
neither of them could understand. Thomas
and Andy stared at it, breathless. "This
isn't just a diamond," Andy whispered.
"It's a key to what?" Thomas asked. Andy
didn't answer. He simply stared at the
horizon with a look of dread. Over the
next few days, the village buzzed with
news of the find. Thomas tried to stay
discreet, but word spread like wildfire.
Offers started coming in, collectors,
historians, even government officials,
but no one could explain the symbol, and
no one knew where it had come from. The
only person who seemed to have a theory
was Andy. He claimed the gem was part of
a larger artifact hidden deep in a
forgotten temple offshore. a temple said
to be protected by the curse of the
first treasure hunter who tried to steal
from it. That man, according to legend,
vanished without a trace. The gem they
had found, Andy insisted, was the last
piece he carried before disappearing.
Thomas didn't believe in curses, but he
couldn't deny what he had seen. The
knocking from inside the plane, the
storm that came out of nowhere, the
feeling of being followed, something was
happening, and it was getting darker.
Still, the offer to auction the gem was
too tempting to ignore. A major auction
house in the city agreed to host the
sale, calling it the find of the
century. Experts estimated its worth in
the tens of millions. But just days
before the auction, things took a turn.
Thomas began receiving threat anonymous
messages telling him to return the
artifact or face consequences. He
laughed them off at first, thinking it
was just local superstition until
someone broke into his hotel room and
left a note. Some doors should never be
opened. Andy, meanwhile, grew quieter,
more withdrawn. He stopped rambling to
himself and instead began sketching
strange maps, circles, and runes and
phrases in a language Thomas didn't
recognize. One night, Thomas asked him
what he was doing. "It's coming," Andy
replied flatly. "And we're not ready."
Thomas didn't sleep that night. On the
day of the auction, security was tighter
than ever. The room was filled with
billionaires, collectors, historians,
and press. The gem sat in a velvet lined
case at the front of the room under a
spotlight. Thomas watched nervously as
the bidding began. 10 million, 20, 35.
The price soared at $54 million. The
gavl finally struck. Sold. Thomas felt
the weight lift from his shoulders.
Finally, it was over. Or so he thought.
But while Thomas and Andy celebrated
their success, not everything was as it
seemed. The curse that had only existed
in whispers and warnings began to cast a
shadow over their lives. Within weeks of
selling the diamond, strange events
started occurring. Electronics in
Thomas's home malfunctioned without
cause, and his dreams were haunted by
eerie voices whispering in a language he
didn't understand. Andy, once cheerful
despite his quirks, began isolating
himself and claimed he was being
watched. One night, Thomas received a
call from Andy, but all he could hear
were labored breaths and a soft,
repetitive chant. Concerned, he rushed
to Andy's home only to find the place
abandoned, the walls covered with
scribbled symbols and maps leading back
to the crash site. It became evident
that Andy had returned there, perhaps
believing he needed to return the
diamond to stop the torment. Thomas
debated whether to follow, but
ultimately knew he couldn't ignore it.
He chartered a private boat, and with
the same gear they once used to retrieve
the diamond, dove once more into the
deep. This time, the water felt colder,
the currents more aggressive. When he
reached the site, he found the sunken
plane intact. But something had changed.
The cockpit, once sealed and lifeless,
was now open. Inside sat Andy staring
blankly ahead, the diamond in his lap.
Andy didn't speak, didn't blink. It was
as if the curse had claimed him
completely. Thomas tried to shake him
out of the trance, but Andy whispered
just one sentence. "We were never meant
to take it." Knowing he couldn't leave
his friend behind, Thomas carefully took
the diamond and swam up with Andy in
tow. But as soon as they reached the
surface, a powerful wave nearly knocked
him over, and the sky, once clear,
turned a deep, unnatural gray. Thunder
cracked overhead and lightning danced
across the water. Thomas realized the
curse wasn't just a myth. It was real
and it was angry. Once back on land,
Thomas made the only choice he felt he
had left. He contacted a private
institution specializing in the occult
and historical artifacts. The diamond
was sealed in a leadlined box documented
and placed in a vault buried beneath the
earth in a forgotten temple, never to be
disturbed again. Thomas and Andy
recovered, but they were never the same.
Andy no longer heard voices, but he
rarely spoke. Thomas published a paper
on the find, leaving out all mention of
the supernatural, knowing no one would
believe the truth. Their discovery made
them rich, but at a cost far greater
than money. And to this day, Thomas
avoids the ocean, knowing that beneath
its calm surface, some things are better
left undisturbed.
