HUGE MANILA BAY CLEAN UP! Best Sunset In Philippines?

Good morning guys, welcome to another daily juice. I'm just sat here this morning in absolute luxury in Manila. If you've just started watching this video, if you've never seen the channel before, welcome along. We never really reintroduce ourselves. My name's George, my girlfriend's Lucy. We have a channel together, we travel, currently in the Philippines. I'm transferring the clips from yesterday's vlog and we've got 15 minutes until breakfast finishes. We're currently staying at the Marriott here. Started off with a little espresso in the room, but we need to go meet Mike and Nelly. If you've just watched this vlog and you don't know who Mike and Nelly are, they're the couple we're currently traveling with, Making It Happen vlog on YouTube. You should definitely, definitely go and subscribe to them. Also, I bought this yesterday. Got a new shirt. We went shopping yesterday and then we kind of forgot in yesterday's vlog to show you what we bought. So maybe throughout today's vlog we'll show a few bits. Oh, I can show you this. Lucy's got a pop socket. First time ever, I'm still not convinced, but we'll see. Everything is actually here that we bought, so let me show you very, very quickly. George, we're gonna literally end breakfast. I've replaced my sunglasses because they were broken. I found exactly the same style. Unbranded, very, very cheap. They're gonna be broken or lost within a month. So that's good. A lead, very exciting. And this is Lucy's T-shirt that she bought. Which kind of sums up how we feel about life. Yeah, that is literally me in lots of ways. Although I would add about other people's negative opinions. Bit long for a T-shirt. It's a bit long for a T-shirt. Right, you ready for breakfast? Yeah, let's go. A lot of messages about my haircut. Thank you to 99% of you. And I think a few people still wanted me to carry on growing it, but the length is still there on top, so don't worry. Delicious breakfast. Actually, I'm still halfway through it, but all good. Nice big, thank you. The juice, porridge, fruit, everything. We've got everything here. So good. Although we were quite late, so I've missed out on the fruit. The worst part about packing up is actually closing the bags. So we're leaving this hotel now. We're actually going to pick up some coffee at Toby's Estate on the way. And then, I can't see the screen, so I have no idea if I'm in focus. You can't see what I'm doing either, can you? And then we are going to see Manila Bay this evening. Now, we were reading articles on the news. Apparently they've tidied this up really nicely. They've made it really nice. Apparently, it's the best spot for sunset in Manila. The sky is a bit cloudy, but- No, no, there's a little bit of blue. Have faith. Always have faith. We're going to head down to Manila Bay this evening. Never doubt yourself. Never doubt... Let's go. Help, please. Okay. Can you help get my leg down to begin with, actually? Yeah, there you go. What are you doing? Well, that's just called it. Bye, amazing room. Don't call me an amazing room. That's rude. Goodbye. Time for one more mango juice before we leave. Delicious. Moving around very quickly today, actually. We're very excited for sunset, and I think we're at the perfect spot for it. We just checked into Sofitel, a hotel here in Manila, and they've given us, they've upgraded us to the suite, which is a great start. Oh, sorry, John. Wow. This is very nice. Look at these views. This is all ours? Yes, it's all ours. We have a kitchen. Oh, wow. Wow. So nice. Wow. Is there a bed? Wow, this is a view of Manila Bay. This is where we're looking for the sunset tonight, and we can just look at it from our room. Insane. So this is... Stunning. This is like a cruise ship or something. That's insane. Oh, this is like an apartment. This is so nice. Wow, look. Check this room out. Huge TV. This is nice. Yeah? Look what they gave us. What have we got? Chocolate? Chocolates. They look so nice. No way. A nice note for us. Oh, thank you. I'm going to go straight in with one of these. So we're going to go and get some lunch. They've given us lounge access. We've had a very, very luxurious stay lately in Manila. I think Manila is... We really, really like Manila. Like, we got told when we first came to the Philippines to not spend much... I'm a bit far away. We got told when we first came to the Philippines to not spend too much time in Manila. People like fly in, but just get out. It's just full of traffic, pollution, all that kind of stuff. Actually, we really like it. We do actually. It's full of good Wi-Fi, good coffee shops. How wonky is this angle, George? It's a bit wonky. It doesn't matter. This isn't a Hollywood production, Lucy. It's a daily vlog. It's a Hollywood production daily vlog. Okay, we need food. All robed up, ready for a couple's treatment at the spa. We haven't had a massage in ages, but after a full month of travelling, it's definitely needed to relax and unwind a little bit. Come on, George, get your robe on! Coming! The sun is starting to set a little bit behind us here, and it's such a nice view. You can see just here underneath the clouds. It's coming through slightly. I don't think we're going to see much of a sunset, but over here is the part that I think that's all been redone. There's like the walkway just across here, all the buildings, but it looks great. I literally had no idea that this part of Manila existed. I didn't know that there was a bay with all these boats. I didn't know that there was hotels dotted along the line of it, so you can get an amazing view, and there's some land across there, which I don't know what that is, and there's some land there as well. I don't know what that is, but just stunning views, and I cannot wait. I might go after sunrise. In the bathroom. But we are late for the treatment because we spent too long in the lounge editing the video. Mike, where is your robe? It's a ninja robe. These aren't actually clothes. This is painted on. It's like, you know, the ninja parade, where you don't see ninjas? Yeah. Because they're that good. Are you feeling ready, George? I'm feeling extremely ready. Work on my right shoulder. It's a bit... A bit sore? Yeah. Getting old. So we've just got into our treatment room at the spa. It's so nice. It's like a massive bathtub just behind me here, and we're going to have a massage in an hour's time, so we can just chill out in here for an hour. So we've got some fruit here and some chocolate, some wine, and then this amazing bathtub just in here. It's so nice. And then just where we're going to get the treatments just here. Such a nice experience. Massage all finished. It was amazing. I'll tell you about that one in a minute, but first, wow. Look at this sunset. No wonder people are talking about it being the place to watch. It's incredible. Look at that. Look at them birds down there. Just look. It's like black water, and they're just going across. Oh, my gosh. Oh, wow. And the sky, like the big clouds almost add to it. It just looks so beautiful. It's so nice. Just had a quick shower, and it's now time for us to go for some dinner, but we're not showing you yet because you know what I'm about to say. Food video coming soon. It's the Spiral Buffet, and we had a little tour around it earlier. It looks incredible, and we think it deserves its own dedicated video because I think there's going to be quite a few courses involved tonight and a lot of eating.
