So, before coming to Finland, I decided to spend a week with Elias Iagnemma in L'Aquila to try another replica.
I had five sessions on the replica with Elias.
So, there I decided, okay, I want to go to Finland.
I don't know, everything seems a bit better here.
I bought a beanie.
So, like, now I'm a lead climber in these guys.
And, yeah, I'm in 100% bouldering mode.
You're right.
Okay, that's two.
That's two?
Forty percent.
One more and we're over halfway.
Sweet.
That's what Sean Torrey and Natalie use.
For the jump?
Yeah.
But they keep the left foot here.
Nice.
Eighty percent.
I go for 100 now.
Oh, no.
Oh, sorry.
Yes, come on!
Ah, yes, sir!
Nice.
Come on, come on, come on.
Yes, yes.
Okay, it's super hard.
Great.
Yes!
Oh, yes, come on.
Come on, come on, come on.
Come on, one more.
I decided to have this fast session on the first day
because I don't want to destroy my skin.
But it went pretty good.
The goal was to do all the moves that I did on the replica.
So, like, from the second one to the fifth.
And I did it.
But I had a hard time on finding the, like,
trying to put the right foot on the very right.
But fortunately, I found this new foothold.
So, at the end, I focused a bit more on the first move.
And probably I found another foothold for me.
I think it's working.
The game changes again.
I will try more on the next days,
but I'm pretty satisfied for today's session.
This is day two on the real boulder.
And every day I try to connect some links.
And the goal of today is to do two moves in a row.
So, I like to try moves two and three,
then three and four, and then four and five together.
Come on.
Come on, come on.
Come on.
Yes!
Okay, okay.
You did that move so perfect.
Yes!
Okay, okay. Nice.
Yes.
I did my goals for today.
So, this was the last one.
It was move two and three.
I almost got the fourth, but I was a bit tired.
Yeah.
Maybe I'll try a couple of times,
a couple of more times the first move.
And then I think today it was a good session.
My first time at UpNor was in October 2021.
Unfortunately, the weather wasn't very good,
because in ten days I was only able to climb three times
in bad conditions.
Unfortunately, in those conditions,
I had a bad injury to my left finger,
where I broke the pulley.
Stefano called me because I had the replica at home.
So, we spent the last two weeks training on my panel.
That's when my motivation came back.
In fact, we decided to leave together
and face this week a bit like this.
I took it as it came, to see how I felt
and go back to the block where I had hurt myself,
which wasn't easy.
I need to stop.
Okay, okay.
It's okay.
Not good.
Not good, not good.
Okay, this is the third day on the Real Boulder.
I have two goals in my mind today.
The first one, and most important,
I have to at least campus one move on the Boulder of Dreams.
It would be super cool to just campus one move.
And the second goal is to do three moves in a row.
So, the move 3-4-5 would be nice to do it.
And then the move 2-3-4.
Skin is quite good, actually.
The splinter of the last session is healed.
The other fingers feel quite good.
We have this session and two more.
So, I think this one will be a shorter one.
Tomorrow, we destroy ourselves
and the last day, we just die.
Okay, so I completed two goals out of three.
I did a campus move.
I did from third to fifth move.
I tried the mental for the first time.
It's cool, okay.
And then I failed on the move from the second one to the fourth.
But I think I was close.
So, maybe tomorrow I will try that one too.
And I tried again the first one and it felt kind of impossible.
So, yeah, it was a positive session at the beginning.
Then it could have been better, but still super good to be here.
Good link, good link.
No, just the first one.
Watching Will and Sean that are quite close to send the boulder
made me super motivated to keep trying.
And seeing them super solid on the first move
makes me feel it will be possible for me too.
I feel it will be the hardest one
and I feel kind of hard from doing it.
Even from the replica.
It just was so wet, I couldn't feel these.
I think the main problem will be that one,
but seeing that it is possible,
also from, obviously, from Nalle's video,
it makes me want to work more, train more
and be super powerful
and forget about all the routes I tried
and just come here and try the hardest boulder in the world.
Basically, I did 80% of the boulder
in terms of number of moves,
but probably it is the half of the boulder
in terms of just pure difficulty.
I think the first move is as hard as the last four moves.
So I think it's time to focus on the first one.
Okay, this is our last day of the trip.
Hopefully the last day on Burden ever.
I'm just kidding, we still haven't done the first move.
So the goal of today is just to send the first move.
So we have this bet,
me and Elias haven't done the first move.
Some of us can do it.
If I do it, for example,
I will offer the dinner to Elias and Diego, the filmmaker.
If Elias does the move and I don't do it,
Elias will offer the dinner.
If both of us do the move, then Diego will pay.
And if it could happen that none of us can do it,
in this case we don't eat, we don't deserve it.
If I do it and you don't do it, I'll pay for it.
Fuck.
On the wall.
Look how the lights are on.
Yes!
Come on, come on.
Yes!
We can go home now.
Nice.
Now you have to stay.
Yeah.
The goal of this trip was to try to solve all the block moves.
Today was great for me,
because I was so close to solving the first move.
Ah!
What's up? It's your boy.
My name is Guillermo.
I'm from Finland.
I eat sugar,
melon,
yes, it's margarita,
hand,
foot,
Trentino,
ronchia,
mozzarella.
I'm excited because it's the first time I ship a crash pad on a plane,
and the first time I didn't bring my harness with me.
I'm feeling more like I can do a bit more bouldering in the future.
Okay, we left Finland,
and a few days later Will sent Boulders of Dreams.
So huge congrats to Will for this amazing send,
and thanks again guys for watching this video.
You will probably want to see more on bouldering.
Hopefully we'll be back on the boulders soon.
In the meantime, thanks again for 80,000 subscribers.
You're amazing,
and remember to subscribe to my channel if you're not a subscriber yet,
and subscribe to Will's channel,
if you're going to get to 20,000 subscribers,
he's going to climb one boulder naked.
What's up? It's your boy.
8a, or maybe 9a,
and then subscribe to all channels on YouTube,
and see you on the next video.
