Hello everyone and welcome back to Nhat Mong Tlay Tech.
This is the 4th episode.
In this video, I'm not going to review a laptop or a screen.
Instead, I'm going to show you how to transfer images from a laptop to a screen.
A bigger screen so that we can easily watch movies or even play games.
Of course, some of you here already know how to do it.
So, let's watch it again.
If you don't know how to do it, this video is for you.
Let's start the video.
First, let's talk about the benefits of transferring images from a laptop to a screen.
The first benefit is that you will have a wider space to study, work or even play games.
For example, at the moment, it is very easy for us to find a screen.
It has a variety of sizes from 21.5 inches, 22 inches, 24 inches, 27 inches or even 32 inches.
There are many options for you to choose from.
In addition, we also have other options, such as a curved screen.
For those of you who like to play games, we will have a more gaming design.
The second benefit is that with the left screen, we can choose the number of pixels that suit your needs.
For example, if you work in an office, you can choose low-pixel screens, such as 75 pixels or even 100 pixels.
But if you like to play games, you can choose higher-pixel screens, such as 165 pixels,
250 pixels or even if you have the conditions, you can choose 360-pixel screens.
It is very diverse and it suits your needs.
After hearing the benefits, you must be interested, right?
But wait, stop for about 2 seconds.
Slowly, you have to identify 3 things before you transfer the image from the laptop to the screen.
The first thing is that you have to identify which ports your laptop supports to transfer the image.
The second thing is that you have to identify the frequency of the screen that you want to export.
For example, 165Hz, 250Hz or even 360Hz, does your laptop support it or not?
The third thing is that the cable you are using supports the band that you want to export or not.
4K 60Hz or 8K 30Hz, it depends on the band that the cable supports.
The most important factor is that you have to identify which ports you have on your laptop.
Currently, we have 2 main ports, which are HDMI and Thunderbolt 4.
With the HDMI port, it will be equipped with a wide variety of different laptop bands,
from office laptops to gaming laptops.
As for the Thunderbolt 4 port, it will be a bit tight and we will only be able to use it with the hook.
Or that screen supports Thunderbolt 4 standard.
But with the HDMI port, you need to pay attention to which standard it will support.
We will have a lot of different standards, such as HDMI 1.4, 2.0 or even the latest 2.1.
With the 2.1 standard, it will support higher resolution.
So you need to pay attention to what we need to export according to the web frequency and resolution.
And the last point you need to pay attention to is the cable that you use to export from the laptop to the screen.
Does it support the correct bandwidth that you want or not?
Because if that cable port does not support the correct bandwidth,
then the phenomenon of bottleneck will occur.
So let's pay attention to this.
After determining the ports to be exported on the laptop,
the next thing you need to do is to determine the ports to be connected on the screen.
At the moment, the screen will be equipped with the following ports.
For example, the HDMI port. This port is very common.
Next is the Disk Label, VGA port and DGI port.
Some high-end screens will also have a Thunderbolt 4 port.
And the same goes for the cable.
You need to be able to determine which port on your laptop supports which port.
In addition, which port is connected on the screen?
So that we can buy a cable port that is most suitable for these two types of ports.
And one more thing you need to pay attention to is the bandwidth of this cable.
For example, you want to export a high-resolution screen,
but the bandwidth of that cable port does not support,
then this is something you should pay attention to.
After connecting, you see it's simple, right?
But now we will ask a question.
If you export a screen from a laptop to a screen like this,
will it affect the performance of the machine?
My answer is yes.
It will affect 1-2% of the performance of the machine.
However, it will not be too much and it will be the clearest.
If you play games and do other activities,
such as Facebook, YouTube, it will be the clearest.
So I just showed you how to export a screen from a laptop to a screen very quickly, right?
