Crossing The Border From Thailand To Cambodia! What To Expect in 2018

6:30 a.m. release in Bangkok we need to get a bus today we are going to guess why I'm making it Rafi no we don't forget trying to have one but I think about so much better what I'm talking sit down you're hard showing off that's our bus there we have about five minutes to run in 7-eleven yourselves a bit of breakfast drive it every day a supermarket sleep we blew the smoke way to the 7-eleven to make up 300 bar because that's cool as we've got powned Cochran I catch that and it's for the entire shopping [Music] they give us industries no thanks no thank you and yeah an iced coffee it's not very happy couple of hours into the journey as types of snacks we potato good like another vegetable Christina thank you got our lunch what is that fried rice baby and what's that some cucumber no time so we're just going through the crossing now a boulder it feels like a border crossing there we went from Prague to Vienna and it was like casinos and like it feels very the people like begging on the street if he feels very know not many obviously those tourists they're crossing the border but the people that are here don't feel like that some welcome people so I'm glad basically I'm glad that we're doing it for a company that literally plenty through it we have to make their their 40 US dollars to get across the border and I think for dollars extra for the guy to take your passport do it all for you so it just cleared up and been checked by immigration to large cross the border and that of Thailand within 30 days and then we've got a bunch now and some people that didn't pay the extra four dollars a bottle going to themselves and like get a visa but he literally taking up a sport then it for us means be back yeah but until then we're just gonna enjoy some price but it just makes nothing I'm glad we've let's do it because I wouldn't wanna be walking around here and doing it myself so if however you're game for us you've got the option to pay a bit tiny bit more a few more pounds or someone to do it for you that I'd say do it it's just easier to let someone else to deal with it they do take passports for like their back so I'm gonna say if you take them so it's big we're not on that where's Bart we're about to get back hopefully maybe let me swap with can you imagine [Music] we are what time is that please dad what does anymore hi Maria okay we've got like until we get that we've been on this bus it's about half 7:00 and his we keep like a fool you're supporting asleep for them like we had this has been they come to be as fast so far there's little like extending things for your legs your legs cannot rest or any time I find a bit it allows the black limb and there's like curtains in it between and they bring a little turn white that's a great person I don't feel like my legs are and reply yet so we're super excited to be here it kind of looks it's very green a bit to be going for a very green is full of like Dillard's and cows cut up walks explore loads over here and we're also very excited to your accommodation someone called Steven who has put us out with it's amazing places that is collecting us when we get to drop your age and what they actually volunteer the general manager came to meet us and introduced himself and I was doing hips betrayal is just so relaxed amazing thank you so much you oh yeah wow that's amazing this is a safe room like they live what they put on the bed for us welcome to yoke Ambo now we're going to leave a description oops I just ruined it we're gonna leave we're gonna leave a link to their website in the bottom because what these guys do is call this just like a normal hotel obviously here's a hotel the people who run this actually give back to the community of Cambodia because we just like driving in here we saw people begging on the streets when we were crossing the border kids were like tugging on my shorts and start trying to get my attention for money stuff like it was sad to see we haven't seen that in Thailand yet but we were in a I guess we're in a poor country now and they do say you see more of that here so the work that they do here at AO Kambo is really really cool we're going to tell you more about it in this video and they have been so generous to us look at this incredible room with an amazing view I think there's only one thing we can do here it's a dutiful room tour [Music] [Music] to give you a bit of an idea of the things they do here and honestly it feels so amazing to be saying some weather it's not just a normal hotel and like George said seeing like the poverty coming in and then knowing this place is helping that is absolutely amazing so 5% of profit here goes back into the community to help sort of community programs to help underprivileged people here that live in Cambodia and by the looks things there are quite a lot of that kids and adults 70 percent of the people who work here are actually students and loads of people volunteer and as we were saying Sam the person who brought all our luggage in actually volunteers here because he cares so much about his community and when we were driving in this school we drove past about two minute walk from here he said oh I actually grew up here now at the school I went to when I was a kid and he says home sweet home and it's all like a family here there's not phones in the room with us a phone in the corridor he says but all the family when you come in here like it's such a nice environment to be in and they just sound like they care about herself they want to grow a career they want to make something of themselves and the Welcome we got like I was saying everyone was so happy and kind to us walking in saying house will trickle welcome and we were welcomed so well here is unbelievable and the views the room they've given us is just insane we are we do we are looking so forward to exploring both ways we are looking so forward to exploring Cambodia we're gonna check out all the cool temples here and we've got loads planned we're going to and are a little island we're in a new place Thailand is done thanks so much for watching all the Thailand vlogs we can't believe didn't want to go out tonight we're gonna see what this hotels got to offer they got a nice menu loads of stuff on there I might I fancy a beer again two nights in a row space Wednesday when would I ever drink in the week our home here is like and I just feel different we forget what day is this [Music] just am get beer as well I get the other beer then we try both become Cambodia that's a lovely angle of ebuy no seriously because Georgia looks alike be ready and I'll have that please and I'm like it gets so awkward and then like if I order my feet and then I don't have a look at the drinks menu I'm going like in there and I'm just like okay anything it's a spider for a drummer okay could I please I trying to fly myself more time less people lately and then the waiters are there for ages like and you're there and I'm here I waiting awkwardly you're terrible [Music] find out a local beer here tonight hopefully it's tasty and I am also trying out a local bear and like I mean it's so invented for name here we're in this country called Cambodia and they make a beer and they call it Cambodia I'm not sure what's happened here I just ruined my beer together through the glass shot I don't even know if it was worth their big old head on that time I don't know if it was worth it I'm gonna say no George look at your face fixed time we want a bit ahead but not too much oh yes look at that you jealous Oh actually a bit much that's okay isn't it what do you think that's dude that's like okay we'll deal with that it's better than George's though it's fizzy at least okay perspective decoration I think Friday got tough yeah it is oh it smells amazing oh is it fried master finally does fried noodles oh I'm Jonathan very different-looking it's what we had in Thailand describe it in three words your own fried noodles similarity time and I have gone for a very simple appetizer of chicken satay thank you and please ignore this it's a long day ah well nice taste like barbecue
