First Class Sleeper Train! Bangkok to Chiang Mai - Is It Worth The Money?

[Music] we just got on to the night train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai we found our room here we are this is first class baby you know it's gonna be long Laidback it's so nice and cool for starters there's a nice cabinet I just can't imagine if you're really fat okay so we're in our backs down the air comes on it's nice and cold we can close the curtains if we won two things we don't know if this is a bathroom or someone else's room because it doesn't owe you pain the other thing is I close this door why do it gently won't open so many looks yeah just as we found you yeah how a bit dodgy is it that makes me feel very unsafe no one safe actually claustrophobic very a mates foot exercise no do not look me out her what snakes don't avid it next door okay it's now locked again oh you just have to call someone any furniture thank you thank you yeah people the door was broken maybe I come back thank you thank you sir ah thank you very much I take care for you didn't fit into the Thank You America thanks maybe later children with dinner yes yes fantastic thank you okay say we still hung get out of our room but we do have some fresh orange juice that he's plotting the sink for us very good funny story just real it's our tickets and it says number 11 so we've come in to cart 11 and if summary as we've seen 11 weeks for our number room 11 as well so we've sat down had some pad thai enough which was a lovely by the way and sat chatting worried about outdoor knives improperly worked out was actually wrong with it was actually thin with a lock that wasn't clip and down properly and we thinking oh god how's that gonna work - look here well we love coming honking a cow anyway I go to George hang on let me just double check the tickets something made me do it and we've looked and it says 11 - 7 the 7 has got like a line through it I couldn't even I wasn't even looking at it like I didn't even come across my mind so what it actually meant is that we're car 11 for our seat is 7 and 8 so we're in the wrong cab and we now have one that the door locks and it doesn't smell a pad thai let the other one we've just stunk out down the corridor so the only question left is are we on the right train it's not cool we take take off and on a plane some lucky lots of what was a water because I'm not drinking from the tap some really interesting have my sandwich crackers machine in the middle so let's cut my skip a menthol shrink now I don't mean to get where did you get that I plan it it was second oh they're not have Wrigley's extra ice the base thing is tiny 7-eleven these bags I like this wired my back and one on our front and when I turn it on look crisp before the off the oils and then take out one that says more creamy more chocolatey and one that's cookies and cream so the guard has been in and he's made our beds absolute bunk bed he was a guard likely with God stuff on it we now func meds this is the first classroom this is the best room you can get doesn't mean much but it's kind of it's comfortable it's fine as clean the aircon works we can't complain too much this cost three thousand four hundred bar which is 81 pounds which I think isn't bad for that distance so from Bangkok to Chiang Mai it's a distance of question I don't know it's a long time it's 13 yeah a long time and also if accommodation for tonight okay why do you govern engine for that I don't press that it was hilarious we were like for the meet your bedlam I'm gonna make you and like shout at us I wasn't Olivia came cat you're heading that forces happened we stood in the corridor of bags like waiting I meant the couple next we're trying to ask me advice about that ticket to check their own the raht dreams and I went oh yeah that's my let me have a look you go children you can't come out now like it's like when you're like a kid and like obviously we are obviously we are at the end of the no it's time we get really into like my editing and stuff yeah and the I'm sleeping really late but it's fine we're now all tucked up in bed George's above me I've got the bottom bunk he bangs he talked bunk unfortunately but it's so crazy because this keeps stopping Alex Asians and then like I had the curtains open when they go and then you look out sudden is like people just like a sound event and you'll hear like like I'm asleep really weird but it's not too Rocky it feels a little bit like a cruise ship will balloon occasionally I know we keep referencing the cruise it's not quite the cruise our god is coming for us at 7:30 to put the beds away and we want to be up before then so I've set another six even though it's that late now but hopefully we'll catch some of the sunrise it should be really nice to see funny it's not cloudy y'okay George George is good I was in the morning but I just quickly show you the bathroom facility it's not the nicest and I feel like because it's like moving train I mean maybe struggling to actually getting in there without getting it or well the edges is what I've seen not me personally cuz I got shower facilities which were young the choosing not to go for that were you know it's against our hotel but isn't it - cleaning here honest but this is a lovely [Music] into the truck it's so sweet to area never come hot cookies purchase very nice yeah it's only about that much actually have time to paint my nails last night as well today doing well so now the room is back to how it was last night like you wouldn't even know there was been tears completely back to like a sofa and we've just been looking at some of these amazing views this window and honestly coming up from Bangkok this is just so so different it's all green it's just amazing to make sure you check out the upcoming vlogs we've had a shampoo leakage issue covered in sticky shampoo well you say that I say oh yeah 40 minutes away from China by now what I said it colitis bent about like if we were in with it announced doing like no air conditioning under the sea I think I hadn't really struggled is extraneous examples like that I know that we can just move around as we can lie down we can sleep a pair to a really comfy we had a plug we have 3G last I think through the Train but we have through J I know like by the look of it it's not it's nothing special by it feels it's just nice to have your own space yeah that's yeah doesn't feel dirty if you're watching this video and you're thinking of coming on one of these trains I what I would personally suggest doing first class I think you'd say the same thing I mean obviously a ton of people do second class then you have always about your stuff stuff gets nicked on these trains it's just a well-known fact that you have to be very careful with bags and things being here we like we had all our stuff out and they have the door locked you are absolutely fine so okay for the price extra spray alright so gruff about tapes and increase on the price of the second-class ticket price like when you fly I will make more than that you like I don't think probably would have done it but the fact that it is a little time powerful is no point in worrying or neither a star and being not uncomfortable not be enslaved [Music] just coming into China right now put all our bags and laptop trying to find our hotel Thanks [Music] [Applause]
