SPIRAL POTATO?! Brighton Foodies Festival 2018

[Music] that is how you do a weekend breakfast now today's vlog guys is going to have a bit of a food theme today in about half an hour we're off to Brighton and Holmes foodies festival we've actually never been before maybe some of you guys have comment below if you've been it's basically a huge stretch of lawns on Brighton seafront all full of different foods different drinks loads going on there's a band player I think the Hoosiers are playing today we're leaving in about half an hour I'm just gonna eat this and then we're gonna go in welcome to the vlog get that window down is so hot twenty-four point five degrees guys I am officially marking this the start of summer I don't care was it isn't it still spring though I know and now it's probably gonna turn rainy next week but we don't care so it's 24 degrees outside it's hot it's sunny it's actually bright thank you the weather of course we get on with the video what do you want that's the I called I called you yeah I'm filming you wanna come to foody's festival we've decided to park the car halfway because parking near of the place is gonna be super busy tonight so we are getting a bus and I don't think we've ever got a bus in a vlog before we don't actually have the ticket yes this is the first classic Georgian Lucy thing we've done today we forgot on the ticket printed out or just thought you said tell me to take them I don't think he said that we've agreed to disagree ours for you okay we have agreed to disagree but you asked for the envelope and I passed it to you I said here's all the tickets we've still got the email confirmation on my phone so hopefully that's gonna be enough we ticket in we're gonna see otherwise you've got to find a printer somewhere we just try to get over because we gave up from the bus they're going back quickly I think their license might be taken away because it when you search for a car for us so we're now back to bus we're gonna wear any of us always that bus Tibet which one a walk as far down as we can George wants to walk their butts up and it's like a 50 minute walk which we don't really want to partake listen are you New Yorkers [Music] we survived the bus there was a guy on there trying to get everybody to sing no one would sing that's why we avoid back I was haha I was tempered I know he did stink of booze but you know he's riding the bus he's enjoying this bank holidays in the Sun well he's not in the Sun in the bus [Music] so this is Ho blonds guy as it goes from all the way over there all the way along and you see this barricaded off area here now this is where the food festival starting is on a bus right yeah how are you just been offered some free dessert this is going very well so savory stuff folks yeah that's true Alicia said I can't have a burger when it there's so much other nice stuff here I can imagine me being let's try this like jet you came to relative homicide shovelers on a cracker shove it haha and my mouth's on fire and it was sloppy burning [Music] that's really good that's nice isn't it I needed that coffee everywhere you look there is insane food we don't wanna commit too early because there's like so much stuff here we are looking for some lunch basically Lucy wants to try some is smaller bits loads of little small stuff but our I mean look at this yeah definitely that's the other thing we definitely want savory first this is so much stuff I look at the cake look at the cake I think I found what I want for lunch they look incredible here we go we're sharing it so if we see more food that we like we can get more might be fill up on the first thing will be ears it's good how do we do this just have a pike let me you're gonna get all the good stuff such a nice chilled atmosphere like a small festival with loads of people there's like a little village cut down I mean by just helping set up it doesn't feel like some big corporate thing if I have some please I'm waiting this delicious we need a drink now non-alcoholic of the yesterday please what something [Music] yeah that was yeah perfect thank you we saw these drinks on someone's table and they look so good I wasn't going to drink but it comes pre made with vodka so we're drinking vodka good we have very very yeah very very tight excuse me thank you this one yet yeah faster dates just order these that contain two skewers and I think it's like I've seen it on Facebook for a video and it's a potato that makes me hot brown into like a spiral put a stick through and like thanks so much just lovely doing ideas have coffees M&S garage and also to pick up some chicken for tonight's dinner Lucy's gonna try out using some of that rubber that's such a weird where do you guys have a word that you hate not that I hate oh sorry I interrupted Lucy's singsong today I have not gone to this a lot about night I've not gone to this before and I didn't know what to expect but it was so nice it's like going man shrine all the different stuff what I recommend be cool I've just thought of is if they did that and with your ticket you get in you get it said remember tokens and then like say like this stand this foots like two tokens yeah because you don't really get anything with your ticket entry you get like this bands and stuff there and there's like cooking demonstrations but today like it was really good I really did enjoy and I would go again but he paid me amount to get in which is like 25 quid or something and then you've got to go around and spend money on any store to get some food and the food is quite expensive but it's fine likely you can see like over your head low rich people were there that's a tiny bit mine I ended up being about 100 pound day yeah so warning if you're going next year or whatever but that's fine you know we had a good time here some good food and it's bank holiday go enjoy yourself it's sunny yeah we got folks and off the tickets what okay Lucy's got this thing Lucy and Lucy edited the last block and apparently she cut out of the vlog me saying bank holiday about 50 times every favourite live like yeah did we know anyway that you were just around things off like I said it's not me talking that's fine you're like so thanks so much watching this sunny vlog bank holiday I like to summarize using your bank holiday if bank holidays they know this is Saturday still bank holiday weekend maybe you get time what you doing you just need to stop saying bank holiday couple of hours letting out guys we got back from the food festival I've just been to the gym Lucy's about to make some dinner I wanted to get an evening workout in it makes me feel so much better when I haven't worked out for a couple of days it just makes me feel so much better when I go to the gym even for like 40 minutes and get a workout and it feels so much better anyone else also want to address something I was scrolling through my Instagram stories and a guy I follow won't name him but he he made YouTube videos and now he's stopped making YouTube videos because he was getting bullied in school and this kind of struck me I sent him a nice message back trying to say like don't listen they their opinions don't mean anything don't value other people's opinions of yourself higher than your own and he replied news like yeah but I'm getting bullied at school and I was like yes I guess it is easier said than done you can give out advice but sometimes these things are difficult and it's real life and it's a real person going to school and being bullied but I know 99% of you guys watching this if you even watch our channel you're the type of person who just would totally disagree with that putting someone down for being creative putting someone down for finding something they love I just it blows my mind I was trying to explain to him that if those people have the time to go around putting someone else down for doing something that they love even me saying that like that that shows what type of person they are and look empathy they they obviously have something missing in their life we hope they find it we hope they find something that they can spend their time doing which is far more productive than putting someone else down we hope that they find something that they love so much that they just focus on that like this guy had but he's been so disheartened by these bullies that he's deleted his YouTube channel and Lucy and I watched his videos they were they were really good videos he he's a young guys I think he's like 15 or something but man it's just super sad and I don't blame him like he's being bullied but I'm not saying he's given in to the bullies I think he's been I think he's done quite a bold thing actually he's taken himself out of the situation but it's just such a shame that he was driven to deleting his channel because because other people decided that they were gonna purposely go ahead in person and attack him for and I don't know if it was verbal physical whatever I'm not too sure but for something he loves do I just and I social media grows and grows and it's becoming more and more common and everyone wants to be a youtuber ever wants to be a content creator he was doing it for all the right reasons he just loved making videos he loved showing his gaming setup but he just he just enjoyed the process wasn't in it for any other reason he was a positive guy at a great outlook intelligent it's just such a shame we get hate on this channel we get trolls in our DMS we get our you should see some of the stuff we get and some of the stuff we have to deal with some of the people we have to block but we don't ever value anyone elses opinions of us of me of Lucy of this channel of our videos we just block it out but but we know that's harder for some people see I just wanted to say it if anyone's taking the time out of their day to make someone else feel sad or upset then they need to have a look at what's missing in their life and find something find something that they enjoy doing it must be horrible to be that person who feels so negative about the world feels so negative about everything that they feel like they have to go and do that to other people that reverse-engineering even that you have to look at what the reason is for that person they've probably got something going on in their life they need to find some help with that or they need to find something that they actually enjoy doing to spend their time on that find their thing in the long run they'll always play out those people will always lose and the people who get back up and get on my death thing they're the people who win excuse the hair guys just go out the shower this dinner looks that's the spice is coming through this dinner looks and smells insane so it's six and that's been great with this stuff through today I punch some wild one tonight instead of having it with this masala but it looks pretty good doing
