Hi, I'm Brad, I'm John, well, Broadtank has released another cover.
I thought it was actually an original song, until I actually heard a snippet of it and I was like, oh, no, I know that song.
So do I. We've actually done it, well, somebody else has done the song.
So we've done someone else's cover of the song before.
The song's by a guy named Teddy Swims.
The song is called Lose Control. I think it's from like 2023-ish, in and around there.
If I know it, it has to be on social media.
Yeah, it's a modern song.
It's probably one of my favourite mainstream modern songs of recent years.
Simply because the song itself has a real kind of classic vibe to it.
To me, when I started hearing it, I thought, how have I never heard this song before?
Because it's kind of like I imagined it came from the 1960s, to be honest.
It has the feel of a 1960s song, and it isn't.
But, Broadtank has done a cover of it.
Broadtank on the piano.
There's actually a piano involved this time.
He's gotten some accompaniment.
Alright. Well, let's check it out.
Before we do, make sure you hit that like and subscribe.
Check out the description down below.
You're going to find a lot of links, information and stuff down there.
Okay, I shall hit the play.
Out of my mind, how many times did I tell you
I'm not good at staying alone
Don't you know

Of course for YouTubes.
I don't reckon there's a song.
Really?
No.
We have done it before.
Maybe it's just the way you do it.
A chunk of it could be Broadtank style.
Yeah, like I said, this is one of my, of recent years,
favourite mainstream songs, weirdly enough.
Obviously, I love what he's doing with it.
Yeah, no.
Yeah, he's so good at it.
Yeah, he is definitely one of the best, to my mind,
beatboxers out there at singing while beatboxing at the same time.
Well, I don't know very many other than the ones we've reacted to.
Well, yeah, out of the ones that we've reacted to,
he's definitely up there.
He's really trained himself to be able to do that.
I'm going to sing and do this at the same time.
It seems like he's done that to a higher degree than most of them.
Because it seems like, well, back in the day, of course,
from what I've heard, beatbox challenges and stuff,
it was all a case of, okay, I'm going to lay down as many different
techniques as I can possibly do, one after the other,
after the other, after the other.
And the more I can do, the better I can do them.
I win.
Now, it's become more compose something, a song, piece of music,
that is, where competitions say you're going to perform a thing
rather than just go, look, I can do this, this, this, this, this, this,
this, this, this, this, this, this, this.
So, yeah.
And, of course, then you get people like, well, thank you.
You're going, you know, I'd like that song.
I can do that.
Yeah.

Yeah, it's just so impressive.
Especially, I mean, I never would have ever thought I would listen to this type of music.
You know?
It's kind of like beatboxing.
I mean, you do.
It's kind of like...
Because, you know, when...
Well, I mean, you probably like me.
But I heard beatboxing when it first came around, basically, was, you know, guys just
doing the sounds and stuff.
You know?
Laying down kind of like a beat track, basically.
Yeah.
But it has become something so much more as all these guys have, you know, developed this
skill and this talent.
So I just assumed it was like that.
Well, it's just not...
You know, a lot of it's in a different style of music and stuff.
I was like, you know?
But then it's like, yeah, actually.
Yeah.
And get introduced to it and start hearing it.
It's like...
Oh, yeah.
I mean, it's kind of like...
Well, it was Vartan when I first really started paying attention to this.
Because his...
I think it was a short of his.
When he did Black Betty.
Oh, yeah.
And it's kind of like, oh, yeah.
That's good.
And then it's kind of like, wait.
What the hell?
Exactly.
Yeah.
And then it's kind of like, wait.
It's like, no, he's actually literally doing all of this right now with a mic in front
of him.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yes.
People have said, yeah.
You know?
These professional videos they're throwing up, there is a little bit of post-processing
going on where, you know, a little bit of reverb, a little bit of echo.
Like, we're going to make that a little bit louder and stuff.
But it doesn't change the fact that, you know, he's with a microphone borrowing, like I said,
a little bit of echo and reverb and stuff.
It's kind of like, yeah, what you're hearing, he's literally doing that right then and there.
Yeah.
And that's...
And yeah.
I mean, yeah.
Like I said, his ability to be able to just sing, that wonderful bass of his too, he can
sing and still beatbox while singing, barely kind of like breaking the rhythm of it as
well.
Yeah.
It's just...
Very impressive.
So we're definitely going to continue hitting them up.
