the day of our event is are bright and
bloggers and vloggers event this evening
in Hove we're going to take you guys
along of course hopefully some of you
guys will get value from it as well some
of you who maybe want to make your own
YouTube videos maybe you already are
maybe you're building personal brands on
Instagram this is crazy like if you told
me a few even years I'd say months ago
that we'd be holding our own event we
are we are whole we are 30 it's a
holding an event and people are actually
coming to like and that we've this is it
was just an idea we had a few weeks ago
and now it's happening and it's here
like I am so excited it's gonna be a
room full of amazing like-minded people
but before that we have got also some
exciting news if we really some of the
talents video
yeah we've teamed up with enlightened
smiles and they've agreed to whiten our
teeth I'm gonna see something we wanted
to do for so long yeah we're not saying
that I don't feel that we've got yellow
teeth right now but I feel like we're
gonna look pretty cool with white teeth
like this no we're not gonna die but yes
we've wanted white teeth for a while
we've tried some at home products before
if you've been watching the videos as
well which some of which have worked
really well we've seen really good
results but they never really like done
like a proper change like this is like
actual like proper treatment and this is
like proper teeth whitening if you book
in with a dentist or professional place
that does it this is it it's not like a
home thing and today is the first of
three visit today we're getting betrayer
the molds fitted and they're gonna we're
gonna then pick them up in two weeks
time between now and the next visit
we've got users like numbing stuff so
that the whole two weeks after that were
doing at home stuff doesn't sort of
affect our teeth too much so super
excited we're here this is so hot it's
boiling what about my leather trousers
yeah and the whole process is like over
a month so we're going to be talking
about this in upcoming videos so if
you've ever wanted your teeth whitened
or wanting to get it done properly
professionally then watch these videos
will will obviously show our results
will be giving a toasty honest review as
well guys as you know we work when we
work at the brand we make it clear to
them that we'll be saying like if we
think it's great we'll rave about it if
it's not we'll be honest but they know
that I know I know it'll be so good
let's go
[Music]

with the toothpaste

see you two weeks later still need

[Music]
pressures done now it's not be stop
running with it not to face and what
this to serum does it repairs any
positive thought make or sensitivity so
you're just sort of trying to hear it
now this is your toothpaste until we
change on to the next one so now
basically
we had a big camera guys check out this
beast
check out this do a smile normally
you're going there you go huh that's
fine thanks much mate
okay see see whiter teeth phase one
complete
it goes on reception at love teeth
recommend we come here this one is it's
so hot it's just on my bag is absolute
boiling and I'm not wearing the right
clothes we just ordered some food are we
getting peeps that I'm just getting a
burger thought that we thought instead
of just drive all the way back now and
get some London she's quite early it's
only twelve o'clock but get lunch at the
way and then we can get back and
something sorted before tonight hello
hello me fries baby Wow crazy all the
dishes come with onion rings I think not
that we really need are your rings on
top of all those BOTS and I went for
rocket goats cheese and caramelized
onion pizza this is the first proper day
son I feel hot I actually feel like
boiling it opening up the town from the
cruise
[Music]
that was a delicious lunch our next
appointment is Lucy's makeup in about
roughly an hour but making a quick pit
stop here we need snacks Thank You HS
double espresso delivery service
I'm so happy why's that we're now in ice
to coffee season happy summer here at me
it's new salon now on hammering and
wedding makeup this looks really nice
[Music]
yes I are wearing
[Music]
- me too thanks again see you later
super happy I thought myself with
Lazarre Mira she's given us some things
for our event inside tonight so gonna
have to make this out thank you again to
me they've just opened their new hair
makeup salon they do got a little thing
here that I can read up beauty makeup
hurts it just pushes on hair but she's
the best just realized we're connecting
a macbook to the TV at the venue tonight
for the event and we don't have a lead
so I'm literally running to Matlin's now
that's in a minute to try and find a
lead I hope they have the right one that
we need I didn't intend for that - I
don't know what one I need they didn't
have the right one guys but I've just
called Hannah who's our friend helping
us out with the event this evening and
I've got her on the job so fingers
crossed she can sort us out she'll find
the right cable just arrived at the
venue these guys trying to set the TV
[Music]
then you gotta kick some green in home
living kindness let us have this whole
upstairs space tonight we're trying to
connect the screen right now
Lucy's putting out all the goo teabags
we've got these little stickers I'll
show you here we've got these stickers
for people to wear when they arrive and
how nice this door opens we're super
super lucky with the weather tonight
don't think I'm gonna go out here but I
really want to ok I'm not allowed to go
out here and that is like a whole open
door it's like the best possible whether
we could have wished for for this event
so we've got these little bags made up
you georgia's mountain with our logo and
we've got some of Mia's cards in there
we've worked some few brands has been
kind enough to gift us ceasing to the
events so we've got some very bad see
and those different flavors which looks
really nice and protein ball company
have given us a load of these to pop in
as well
sentiments they've given all sorts of
different flavors of their cans which is
amazing and so often proper corn so
thank you so much to all you guys for a
green sweater Busters event we can't
wait you to get around so it's like this
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
thank you so much everyone for coming
today
we've been playing us a couple of weeks
now and it's so nice it all to be here
it's all exciting what happening thank
you also to Hicks and Greene for having
us as well here which is really nice
them to let us use their room we went to
a podcasting event a couple of weeks ago
and it was all about sort of local
podcasters and we thought why isn't
there something like this for bloggers
and vloggers in Brighton we came out of
it and just thought there needs to be
something like this for Instagram
YouTube it was just creators in a room
together like my vision come in that's
why we're here today I mean why don't we
destroy ourselves so we can get in a
room together all mingling and what I
think is nice about this is that we you
guys are know probably been to a few
events or sale for different brands and
things it's nice that normally it's sort
of a brand or like an advertiser working
with creators this is with creators with
creators so networking mingling sharing
ideas and as being in a room with
like-minded people creative people and
it's just so nice to see everyone here
today so thank you all for coming again
yeah thank you very much any event we've
been to we've always found the best bit
is the people that we've kind of met and
rather than the even the event itself
just being around like-minded people
there's real value that we find in just
talking to sharing ideas or chatting
we're all doing a very similar thing on
similar platforms and we're all building
personal brands which is kind of what
this is all about personal brands are
they're kind of spoken about as a new
thing but really they're not everyone
has had a personal brand clothes you
wear how you interact in public how you
talk to people the things you eat the
things you do in your spare time these
days though personal brands can
literally be for anyone and we all know
that through the kind of platforms that
we use before it was just kind of
celebrities sports people Hollywood
actors because they had the scale of
audience from the platforms that they're
on
start from zero we built it up in how we
act and are sort of following the grain
from for nothing but then I'll see
celebrities obviously for a footballer
you follow them because you want to see
what they're doing so it's been handed
to them but we've kind of grown this
ourselves and sort of built this I think
they had an audience elsewhere which has
come on to social media last five ten
years now we can kind of do ourselves
which does sometimes lead to some
negativity I'm sure you guys will add
hate comments and stuff like that we
certainly have I call these people
traditional thinkers like for them
people who don't kind of understand what
we do they downplay it but demonize the
technology that we use the tools that we
have is so nice especially here in
Brighton so open minded we all kind of
support each other so nice that you guys
have even turned up you know we're so
supportive we're open minded we just
kind of value each other and there's no
judging there's no negativity at all
between us it's not like we went to last
year and with my cousin walking down the
street and I probably be start with my
bad and she goes what are you doing you
can't that's weird here people look and
people are staring but it's so nice in
Brighton that it's so like to do the
thing we love this point we feel like we
made it out we probably hit make up it's
not that clever I mean it it's not even
very good English to be honest but it's
something we kind of live by now do
whatever makes you happy and if it means
sort of this kind of thing that's great
if it means sort of an office job that's
great it's basically finding the thing
you love and sort of pursuing it really
isn't it mmm I think it's amazing and as
much as it's do the thing is we also
kind of believe don't do the thing you
don't love just because it looks good on
paper or because you think you feel
you've been told you should do that way
I think the great thing about everything
that we do on our toes and platforms
whatever content we kind of make we've
created that opportunity ourselves out
of nothing
which is a circle we chose all of you
tonight to come along because we follow
you all we admire the content you make
with my everything you kind of do I
think my favorite thing about this kind
of group of people is that we've all
created opportunity out of nothing even
this event itself brands you guys kind
of work with the opportunities you've
created we can live in a world that we
desire so who here knows someone in this
room handle quickly so who here followed
or seen someone on social media here
tonight but you haven't met in real life
that's nice so that kind of shows the
power of like social media and
everything that we do is certainly not
something to be downplayed something to
be really recognized and celebrated I
think something we all kind of share in
common is that we're all very optimistic
people we see something that a lot of
others don't we have to remember the
people we follow on social media of
people like you guys I'm sure that's the
same for you as well can sometimes feel
because we live in this world and this
bubble it kind of feels like everyone is
doing it because of the feeds you
consume if you scroll through your feet
it's probably or similar things that are
going on but really it's it's not
everyone it's a minority when when
you're shooting your photos in Brighton
or Hove there's not going to be a row of
people also doing the same thing when
we're filming ourselves walking down the
street no one else is really doing it so
we have to remember that we are we are
doing something really cool and that
kind of excites us but the thing that
sort of worries me most not my fear that
most I suppose this kind of stuff it's
waking up one day in 20 30 40 years time
thinking hang on a minute
I spent the last however many years of
my life doing something I don't enjoy
because I was scared to just go for it
and make the leap Lois will be coming on
to this a bit later when we bring her up
there there's a real culture and we've
all done it of wishing away time yeah I
think something we all have is that we
we're positive thinkers were optimistic
we make the most of the time we have we
want to get the most out of every day
through the content that we create as
well we've all cheered for Friday who
has counted down the day so the weekend
just to enjoy two days but I think
really us in this room here we all see
that actually we should be enjoying
every day and doing what we do here
creating our own opportunities is
allowing us to do that which is just so
cool we obviously vlog and we do
Instagram we make content I think we're
as much we've more so fans of the
platform
and fans of all you guys and fans of
creators which is pretty much the main
reason we do it isn't to carry on doing
her business through social media and
all online so Jonah tell us a bit about
what you do and water which was really
weird how it came around I went for that
and it was 24 hours so for a little
while I was doing my nine-to-five job
working 24 hours at Ballantine's
and then do an online coaching as well
which is on my picture now see how I
Instagram and how I kind of got that in
place and how I get my clients mainly
through Instagram and through Facebook
and so I'll try to balance some free for
a while I think if you want something to
happen you kind of have to balance
sometimes and a lot of things like I was
doing my nine-to-five realized how much
I hated it when I first to be honest
started and I got into that nine-to-five
job because I was at university I quit
University because I didn't like that as
well so I'm doing business IT I just
didn't like that so I was just like just
keep these things but I'm kind of glad
that I've do quit these things because I
don't want to get to like the age of 79
we look back at the 10 of my grandkids
get out oh I didn't I just live job it's
good pay but it kind of hated it and
it's just like oh who's that person it
was like Monday Friday Saturday Sunday
were my like life and then I would go
back to Monday to Friday and it would
just be like a repeat of a repeat and
all the people I was working with were
just the same they would pick a holiday
and I love holidays I love that
traveling but they were like they booked
a holiday and then once our holiday was
over there are back to reality I'm like
why is your reality like why you going
to a job that you don't like to live
when you could be doing something you
enjoy I'm not saying they have to do
social media
to do that but they can do something
surely that they're passionate about
Harry Potter
why not like what hi so passionate about
that
come on Harry Potter world in a ski for
like creative people as well if I read a
book called big magic as anyone read it
yeah really yeah really good book and it
just kind of says for creative people
which we obviously all are you can
literally just you should just follow it
like non-stop just yeah complete when
did you realize that you could leverage
a following on social media and kind of
monetize it or turn it into something
that can start paying the bills and
things like that it's quite different
they kind of saw that's quite
interesting and I think that initially
brought in a few clients and as a
community I was just like yeah that's
cool I can help people get to that stage
of their life if they want to compete
whereas now I kind of look at it and I'm
like I've grown up following but people
have stayed people have left because I
kind of wanna follow bikini people but
people have stayed that I've kind of
finished like completed that journey
with me what to see we see how they kind
of progress with that and and I think
that's when I first like to see the
initial difference is when that kind of
came in and but as well people come in
all the time now because they're
interested didn't like the lifestyle and
how what you wouldn't do I want to
incorporate more trouble stuff into my
blog that Instagram because that's why I
enjoy now and I think at first I've had
a thing and my thing was to do bikini
competition I saw YouTube when I first
flew in that lifestyle
we've been funny to them for a couple
years now yeah and this thing yeah we've
we've met Lois in real life twice it
shows the kind of brands we're building
and our personas online which is not
different persona to what's in real life
it shows how real they are actually and
how we felt we knew you because we
follow you for a year or so and you and
you've done the same what did your
family think about you missing aa
nine-to-five like was it easy that like
when you first told them and
how do they feel now yeah the family
thing was a bit of a weird but my family
were like why are you quitting this job
like they did not understand and I think
still they're still a bit like why are
you doing this and I think it's fine
like it's fine for them to think that
and I think you have to kind of prove
them wrong which is why initially I kind
of had the nine-to-five and I had the
Ballantine's as well and I had online
coaching I kind of had them all to sort
of be lot I can do this yeah and once I
left the office your boss like right I'm
gonna get more Ballentine clients I'm
gonna get beep like so after as well so
I was doing everything I could at
balance outfit posters up trying to talk
to more people which is what I initially
found hard to have anxiety as well I was
a bit like you got a strategy or
something you do to to grow or we both
follow someone called Gary video me
anyone watch come across Gary Vee on
YouTube he's got this yeah he talks a
lot about social media growth he's
full-on
but his dollar eighty strategy so
finding accounts that you you really
like and you relate to and genuine
commenting on them not just for the sake
of it trying to interact with these
accounts and things like do you do bear
that and how do you kind of grow
actually when you see it follow people
that are like that and just do what
they're doing the better like you meet
them like I I like you do like not
beyond sports words and if you see
something that's working for them if you
see that like all that looks good and I
like how they did that take that and
like put your own spin on it if you're
doing that and you're making it like
your own thing then do that if it if the
thing is like people can seem straight
free I started prepping for a show
they're here and I just wasn't into it
like I could not get my head in the game
for it and I just decided that people
could see right through it they're like
don't seem like the time like you don't
seem like you're into it this year last
year you up in every
single thing into an issue you're kind
of half-hearted and you're just like
doing it because you feel like you have
to do which was true I was doing this
show because I didn't feel like well
because I felt I had to do it to try to
prove the thing wrong so I came forth
last year and to get through British
wine and you have to get took free so I
was like right this year when we go back
I'm gonna get and I was only doing it to
get like a trophy or to get that but I
just don't know I know and people see
him through that they're like why don't
you don't do it so now I'm just not
actually joy and putting content out
that I love showing my house and doing
things like similar sort of things what
I was doing so I still loved the gym now
I'm doing fitness that I actually love
and get everything fit healthy and
loving like feeling the best they
possibly can I think that's a good point
as well that you can change your content
you can yeah I think once you've got
that personal brand established and
people know you if you do want to go off
into something slightly different I
think your followers will go with you to
do it and I realize I mention it it's
like don't need to do this to get like
that I craft know so if you don't need
to do that just do something that you
enjoy this was the point of but they
came like what's the point of wasting
three months of my life getting leave
who inspires you the most
you look at people like people like Gary
Vee and massive people I love following
them and I love looking for them and
being I love me to do it I watch like
you guys and I love what you're doing
there's so many people work that I do
follow and I follow people now that do
inspire me but I think the group of
people I've surrounded myself with the
past six months say I've completely
changed but I was gonna say when I was
working at 90 fryers I've spent in 40
hours we we have people that was so
inspiring and people that didn't
understand my dear
question everything and now I'm in a
team balance my tricks are in a team
that people we have conversations like
the weirdest conversation that our load
is about like the universe and how weird
things are in the universe and how
everything happens for a reason we all
have like deep tasks and I think just
simple things like that inspire me to be
like whoa what the hell and I'll go home
from work now and be like wow like we've
had some really interesting
conversations to that it's like inspired
me to kind of do better and make them
proud of me because not just that but
like I just want to make myself yeah
exactly like the top five people it's so
true I was surrounded by five people
five people in an office it's fine
you've left yeah thanks Louis so we
didn't announce this on the invites or
anything your turn does anyone fancy and
this we just had this idea like
yesterday does anyone fancy coming up
and giving a very quick brief thing
about what they do what content they
make kind of how you started what you're
doing now what your plans are very
light-hearted very conversational yes
[Applause]
excellency I do everything from fitness
to travel
this is provoking to everything
associated with Instagram and Facebook
how did it start so growing the business
starting the business how did you have
that we doing something for that you
didn't enjoy did you just have the
vision for it so basically I graduate to
university I thought you know I'm gonna
go with this alone
do you plan to do in the running work
making cups of tea for two three years
before I got the chance to get
opportunity to do something I wanted to
do so I'm best in my camera equipment
over time working a part-time job and
doing video stuff on the side work for a
fitness company called grenades as well
as working as a part-time job to start
going into the fitness world four
tractional I'm from my fitness work work
with a lot of social media influences
including the Made in Chelsea people
persist with my work through the fitness
brands I was working with start working
with them and I've worked with a summer
camp boot camp America for the past four
years going back from my fifth year this
year this year went back as a full time
filmmaker for them before was like a
general counselor as well maybe sixty
videos for them this summer which was
actually in 60 yes Wow one tape music
video with a drone but like 60,000 views
in a week which was incredible when I
showed that those videos these people
after two weeks of being there they know
who I am have been there for four years
at this point the kids all know they
showed the work and having 500 people
chant your name was the turning point
for me to say you know what I'm gonna go
for this nice it's 500 people think I'm
doing the right thing then I've got to
give it a go yeah surely 500 more people
think I'm doing the right thing
and so in so forth so since then when
full-time freelance I live in my own
apartment which is great I can survive
just not just about fine go nice jacket
so
my since I've done that Hamlet back and
that manager only schedule which I
actually love doing this full-time is a
risk then get me wrong it's scary going
right into it which you understand yeah
I'm should do it I get to have that
freedom get to enjoy what I do like I
worked for it too much almost there's no
work for me I enjoy it's the last thing
I think none of us here are shy of hard
work because the hard work is doing
something that we love to do amazing
thanks so much
brilliant brilliant super session thanks
everybody hey if you're watching this
video back now we really really loved
the whole thing didn't we yeah the venue
is amazing the people that came amazing
the conversations we had was so good and
I do not talk when okay I think I think
we do the right thing we got through it
yeah we loved me in people in real life
who we admire and we follow we love
their content stuff Chris and Eve was so
nice cool people who so good to me in
real life I think it's not a some dinner
we haven't eaten it i starving we have
McDonald's no it's bad isn't it oh my
game you can guys thanks so much for
watching this vlog but we ending it I
need to hold my arm out there better
hold it thanks so much for watching this
vlog I hope you enjoyed the event hope
you liked seeing a bit of the behind the
scenes stuff do thanks normal can you
hold it we hope you enjoyed this video
thanks so much for watching give it a
thumbs up if you did we've got some cool
cool stuff coming up on the channel this
was one of the projects we've been
working on but we kind of were open with
this one from the start there's some
secrets the big secret project it's
still happening it's been confirmed for
May and it's been made 2.5 times bigger
yeah or something like that it's been
guys like genuinely genuinely
it's worth the wait you'll be blown away
[Music]
