What will happen in dragster race between Koxegi Regera and Koxegi Agera RS?
Well, we'll find out by racing them at a distance of a quarter of a mile from the stop.
I'm Watson and you're watching Carf Wow.
Before we race, I want to show you how cool are the doors in these Koi eggs.
This is Regera and it's electrically controlled.
Will it work?
It's so satisfying in Agera.
You have to do it manually, but it's still very nice.
Look!
Oh, oh, ah, wonderful!
Hi, Tom. How are you?
I'm fine. How are you, mate?
This is Tom from London. This is his car.
Listen, I know you were racing with your car in our last video,
but the Internet said you're not very good at driving.
I don't agree with the Internet, but I think someone else will be driving today.
Do you agree, W?
Alright.
Kua Egregera has a 5-liter V8 engine with dual turbocharging,
powered by E85 fuel and three electric motors,
which gives a total power of 1500 hp and 2000 Nm of torque.
The drive is transmitted to the rear wheels only via a single-gear gearbox with a torque converter.
The single gear is set to the maximum speed,
and three electric motors provide most of the traction at low speeds
and fill the gap in the torque until the engine is in the charging mode.
Regera weighs 1590 kg and is worth about 3 million pounds today.
It drives on Michel Cup 2 tires.
Kua Egregera RS has the same 5-liter V8 engine with dual turbocharging,
powered by E85 fuel, but without the support of electric motors.
It gives a total power of 1360 hp and 1570 Nm of torque.
The drive is transmitted to the rear wheels only via a single-gear gearbox with a torque converter.
It weighs 1395 kg and is worth about 3 million pounds today.
Just like Regera, it drives on Michel Cup 2 tires.
Well, that's quite interesting, isn't it?
Inside this beautifully finished Coxsack Regera,
which works at an incredible speed.
One gear, three electric motors,
and yet the rear-wheel drive.
I feel great.
Oh, beautiful metal, and at the same time crazy performance.
We'll see how this unique and interesting car with an innovative drivetrain
compares to a more conventional one, which is based on pure power.
We've already had this car on the channel.
This time we're driving on decent E85 fuel
to see how fast it can be and when someone drives it,
who knows how to drive a Kenix.
So let's talk to him for a moment.
Hi, Markus, how are you?
Hi, Matt, I'm fine, thank you. How are you?
I'm very happy to be sitting in this car.
I've never driven a Regera.
We tried to put it on the channel for I don't know how long.
In the end, of course, we had to reach the sources of the cars themselves.
So you, Kex, thank you very much for leaving us
so that you could play on your starting lane.
I wanted to find out a little bit about you,
because what do you do in Coxsack?
I'm a test driver for half a stage
and a prototype technician for half a stage.
So I'm a mechanic and I drive a lot of cars.
You set a record in Jesko from 0 to 400 to 0.
But you didn't start as a driver or a technician.
What was your first job here at Kenix?
Assembly technician on the production line.
How did you do it?
There was a guy named Sonny.
It was all thanks to him.
He saw that I could drive,
and then he taught me all the tricks
and what to pay attention to, and so on.
And it just shows that you never know
where your life will lead you and what you can do.
I used to be a small accountant.
I didn't think I'd be sitting here
racing one of the most famous hypercars in the world.
We'll find out a little later
if Marcus is actually faster than Tom
in his own car and if the Internet was wrong.
But first, if you like drag races
and you want to see shorter, more complex drag races,
we've launched a new channel called Karów Drags.
It's just pure racing.
If you want to do it now, subscribe to the channel.
Just click the pop-up banner
in the upper right corner of the screen.
Scan the QR code on the screen
or just use the link in the description of this video.
Now let's listen to the sound of the Caruau Drag Race.
So Marcus, you can start the Agera, please.
It's a little different.
I can't start it, right?
So basically it's like a car with only 6th gear
and of course you produce a lot of heat and slip.
So we limit the limiter
so that it doesn't produce too much heat.
But we can get some sound out of it
because we still have a 5-liter V8 engine, right?
So you can accelerate to 2.5, 3,000.
So I'm adding throttle.
It's so weird.
Let's go to a quarter mile race.
Do we have to warm up the tires first?
Sure, do it.
And then make sure you have a full battery when you come back.
So with a full battery,
we want the battery to reach a temperature of about 40 degrees.
Wow, you can feel
like the torque converter is blocking
when you go faster.
It's so weird.
It's just constant pulling.
Wow.
What a strange experience.
I've never driven anything
that would make such an impression.
It's a bit like an electric car
but with a powerful engine.
97% battery, 38 degrees.
Perfect.
Wow, it's crazy.
A strange feeling.
First of all,
Markus, I think you can do a better start than this.
But it's like a train.
The way it goes and goes and accelerates.
It's so unpleasant.
It just keeps going as I say.
I want to do it again.
Nice.
3, 2, 1.
Go on.
Oh, that's good.
Wow.
Yes.
3, 2, 1.
Wow.
It's crazy.
Beautiful start.
Synchronized with the line.
You were right.
My car started to go a bit sideways
but then it calmed down.
It's strange that you change gears.
Meanwhile, it's just like
building up power.
It's definitely
something else.
So what exactly happened?
Well, Regera beat a quarter of a mile
from a stop in 10.3 seconds.
And Gera RS needed 10.4 seconds.
This means that Markus couldn't
improve Tom's best time,
which was 10.2 seconds.
Listen to the Internet.
Before our next race,
a short message that can save you a lot.
If you are looking for a used car,
motorcycle or van in the near future,
this is for you.
We collaborated with our friends
from Carver Vertical
to offer you a special offer
where you can check if it's a stolen
or changed vehicle.
Look at this Bentley Continental
on Carver Vertical.
It has a clean mileage and
has no damage,
but it's still marked as stolen
even after multiple registration plates
You would never find out
a stolen vehicle without checking
the history of the vehicle.
So by buying a used car,
motorcycle or van,
run a vertical car report
using the code CARWOW
to get a 20% discount
or click the link in the description.
Now let's get back to the race.
Now we will do a quarter of a mile race.
We will drive about 10 miles per hour.
Markus will stay at my level.
When the hands fall, we start.
Are you ready, Markus?
Yes, I'm ready. Let's go.
3, 2, 1
It was crazy how it spun.
Do you know how it is?
It's like a growing wave.
Actually, it's a good way to explain it.
So I thought it would be better for you,
but you actually spun worse
because it really benefits from
this instantaneous acceleration
and just an increase in torque.
Yes, I think so too,
because at the start I have a little recharging,
because I'm building up and now I'm zero,
so I think I just lost at the beginning.
What we'll do this time,
I want you to decide
at what speed you want to go.
We will probably go at a speed
of about 80 kilometers per hour.
80 kilometers on the second gear
sounds like a good plan.
So let's start.
3, 2, 1, start.
What?
Come on.
That's not what I expected.
I want to try again.
I think you went a little too early.
Okay, let's do it.
3, 2, 1, start.
This time I'll take care of it more.
Oh no.
We drove perfectly
and oh, it was so close,
but you just jumped forward
because you're recharging
and it's just quite even.
Yes, from my point of view,
it's just very even
and I saw you there like everywhere
and that's crazy, right?
So you're recharging on the second gear.
I'm basically on the sixth gear
and it's just even.
It's very different,
but basically the same result.
Now we're going to do a braking test
at a speed of 160 km per hour.
After reaching the limit,
there will be a complete emergency stop.
The car that stops
at the shortest distance wins.
If you want to see more videos,
click on the pop-up banner
to display the QR code on the screen.
If not, stay here to see the braking test
because it's just arriving.
Oh no.
Yes, yes, yes.
It looked like we had a good time.
Is this car a bit heavier?
Doesn't it weigh 200 kg or something?
That's probably what we're talking about
when it comes to this distance,
but it's still quite close
and the braking is really good
and very controlled.
Listen, Marcus, thank you very much
for inviting us here to Engel Hall in Sweden
so that we could play with your toys.
I really liked it.
Thanks to Christian and Sebastian Koxegg
for solving this problem.
I really appreciate it.
And, of course, to good old Tom from One Barn
for lending us his Agera RS.
It was a lot of fun.
And now, if you want to watch a video
from behind the scenes,
click on the link in the description
to click on the pop-up banner
and subscribe to their channel.
Good?
It will help us get Tom's car,
which also has something new.
Subscribe, and Tom will probably
take it with him to another drag race
in Caruao.
In any case, if you want to compare
the times of these cars
to all the other drag races
we've ever had,
click on the Caruao logo.
Thanks for watching
and see you next time.
