TRANSFORMING THE FLAT FOR CHRISTMAS!

[Music] morning everybody we're back we're back with normal Vlogs we're back from holiday we're back in UK back in the very cold UK this is our first Christmas Vlog it is this is our are we calling it vlogmas I don't know if we can we're not doing it every day we might call it vlogmas don't know but today we are going to get some Christmas decorations we're going to Deck the whole flat out and Christmas stuff we've already got the tree up let me show you the tree quickly I put this on Twitter last night some of you may have seen this already um our tree is all done pretty much finished um here it is what do you think let's turn this turn this loud heater off still got to get our heat main heater to go there but for now we're using that anyway there's our tree so obviously we're going to finish that off today bit jet lag to be honest we landed a couple of days ago just to bring up to speed there are some holiday videos coming we filmed loads of stuff when we were away so we got to look through all that footage put some nice videos together for you so that'll be coming very soon but we wanted to carry on vlogging get back into the normal routine and just say hello to you cuz we new oh I like I saw them they're so cool I got them down in Portsmouth they're Vans they're nice bring about the sum of eyes I've got to be honest we we were going to get these for George for Christmas but they didn't have your side so I I instead thanks for telling me anyway we're actually just heading out the door as well we're going to go and visit my grandparents and see my mom and dad cuz we haven't seen anyone yet since we've been back on holiday boat from um lanzerotti what there there was a an old man making um that does not look like a boat I hate to break it to you thinked you off there that is not a boat five five he mean so who else someone else out the door oh hello guys everyone's turned up how you doing good good good so we've just got back from our holiday and Mike has also just got back from holiday and he's uploaded check my Twitter he has made his first ever YouTube video we've been speaking about it for a while it's now up guys so go and check my Twitter and so go and check that one out guys it's really really good right let's go to my grandparents that a weird horrible angle I don't like it hang on oh no I can't f chat come on come we haven't driven for ages it's so weird to be back isn't it as this is our first Christmas like away from our parents obviously we've got no decorations at all so today's mission is to get loads of different decorations like we saw we've already got our tree um we've got lights we've got a star but we don't have like any B balls or anything to like decorate the flat with um so we don't want to go too mad because obviously it's only Us in the flat so we're pretty much just doing it for ourselves we do love Christmas it' be nice to come back to after work and stuff and after that tonight we're going to my mom's for dinner um we haven't se her yet from my holiday and um she's asked me to decorate her tree as well because I'm very good decorator what on my CV but no yeah I don't know I do love document Christmas trees and um I'm excited to go to the Garden Center me talking me really Christmas was there you pictures put photos on Facebook um of my my niece Thea and she's like s Santa and she's F away from one I don't think I do that it's so cute I swear these trees had leaves on when we left like I'm not even saying it and now they're like naked we've been from 2 weeks so weird it felt like summer and then now we're back and everyone's been all christmy and I'm like what what's happening normally there's a big build up but we haven't really had a build up we just straight into December missed three days of having calendar so we were loving it yesterday morning when we got back um six chocolates each thank you very much that guy had a Christmas hat on in his car guys been ge's grandparents and they told us that us is really good for Christmas decorations we picked a few bits up in here we haven't got loads in here but um there's some quite good bits and it's all really cheap as well we're now at the Garden Center and we're also at hobcraft which you've just been to forgot to film anything in there originally we were going to go for like a white silvery kind of Christmas theme but Lucy it looks a bit weird with the gray and half flat it would look right so I wanted to keep it crisp and clean but then Lucy in there has just B like a load of cinnamon sticks and like these little weird orange things and stuff so now she's decided to go for a bit more of like a wooden thing it's going to be silver was it silver white and wood basically so we're now coming into to Haskins Roundstone oh my God it's like Christmas Wonderland oh we have look at this trol yeah told me to get trolley I was going to get a basket how much are we buying I got some massive trolley guys what do you reckon what do you reckon should we get that should we get a massive seal a really put him back guys I knew this was a bad idea I'm putting it back and getting a basket much better now I've lost Lucy I found a smaller version 5.99 it's nice though cuz it's gray so it will go just put it in we'll find it later we'll find it we'll work it out later there's so much stuff this shop is literally just Christmas everywhere hello mate successful in the garden center got loads of bits we'll show you I can get bag yeah we'll show you everything when we're home don't worry we're going to put it all up transform the flat into a Christmas oh yeah we've had the best idea we really fancied a hot chocolate they do good hot chocolates in there but we're running short on time cuz we want to go about get run over we want to go to the range actually got to run now we want to go to the range quickly before it closes at half 4 and it's currently half 3 so we're going to whiz over there now and then we're going to buy a long time actually and then we're going to buy some hot chocolate from there buy some marshmallows chocol is in hot chocolate drinkable as in no as in like powder that we can have at home cuz we want to than clarifying yeah and then and then we're going to buy some marshmallows we got some Square to cream home we're going to make some oh we've only got small mugs we have two I'm going to buy massive I have two each I'm going to buy a massive mug Christmas mugs in the range yeah let's get some Christmas mugs in the range get some hot chocolates in them have a cozy evening putting up the decorations in the tree and stuff we found our Christmas mugs look at that one each perfect I'm joking you you think Lucy would let us get those we're getting these nice snowflake right the car is with loads of Christmas stuff with everything that the rain sells we couldn't find any hot chocolate powder so we're going to have to quickly go to co-op cuz we want loads of like mini marshmallows as well so we're going to oh my God it's so cold we're going to go to CP now and then we're going to go back to the flat hopefully it's warm we left heating on all right let's go we've quickly stopped at my mom's house um to pick up my washing she did all my washing from the holiday thanks Mom they've got their tree up all the decorations are up here and these dogs are going crazy to see us see us see their toys look how big lot is every time you guys see her on a video she's doubled in size look how big she is compared to Robbie lyy rbie rbie come here good boy guys look at way around hang on I'm loving our theme by the way aren't you yeah you showed them the Christmas tree haven't you looks great Tada I want to talk you3 some bits as I put them on the tree I think let's get decorating our Christmas tree look what I just made we've got the little orange B and some cinnamon sticks as well that bunched up the little bow on top very cute we've also got these little tags these are actually tags you went to put on presents but I thought they look really cute on the tree's little gift tags there we've also got these like mesh Hessian bows as well as these bows up here then a few sort of individual decorations here big wooden tree these little things look like they look like balls of wool actually and then we've got um loads of sparkly bits that thr on the tree plus George's kindly what are you doing I'm trying to put string on BBL how many have you done one that's the first one this is the second one you've been doing about half an hour you've got four boxes to do so I know I've got so many it's so hard they should come pre-made they should really um we've also got these little things which I think you're meant to like I don't know you meant to do them but we're going to put them inside the [Music] tree well on loose looking good thank you looks like a Christmas tree now it does doesn't it yeah we're not quite finished with the tree but we are going to Lucy's mom's now going to be late probably going to Lucy's Mom's for a roast she's cooking us a roast dinner which is absolutely amazing because well I definitely can't be bothered to cook Lucy probably can't either since one have you cooked anyway I I cook sometimes so we're going to go over there have a roast dinner then we're going to come back finish off the decorations show you guys exactly what we've done we've put loads of stuff up then we're going to make those hot chocolates I can't wait for that literally can't wait you ready to go then no I want to carry on no we're going to be late as usual guys running pretty late let's go that's I've come around here for a nice roast and I've been made to put their bloody Christmas Dr so you P for the roast perfect oh do is that all [Music] right we just got home from luc's Mom's we're going to lovely roast dinner by the way thank you Becky we're going to finish off the tree decorations then in a minute going to make those hot chocolates I've been talking about them all Vlog I'm excited we got this from the range it's like ribbon like made out of wooden things and we're going to use it as ensil on the tree look at that oh it goes all every time I film you walk there sorry it looks all yellowy in the camera but it's not really it's a little yellowy it looks very like Grand in real life it's got these like little orange bits and they actually don't pel it off the tree they actually smell like real orange and that is little cinnamon sticks I didn't know you got that what those like little like sledges ski things they're so cool so cute and look at this massive wooden one look how nice all this looks I just want to like live in this tree imagine just sitting in the middle of that great be so cozy we also put some fairy lights on our shelves which we actually might keep there after Christmas anyway the camera's making them go a bit funny but in real life they look quite good the brightness down you can kind of see if I take that brightness down a little bit by the way this said um what did it say five days to Caribbean before we went on holiday we get home and now says a krabby five sedation which means absolutely nothing and we know straight away who did that Emily and Mike so thanks for the little message we're going to put Merry Christmas on there or something soon George I'm really annoyed to you what have I done you've threaded these shockingly every single one so far look it just opens up again and I've got to retire really yeah you had one you literally had one job had one job you liter one sorry it's difficult you know you know how long it took me I'll sat there do you know how long it took me to do all that and there you go insulting me yeah guys arts and crafts aren't really my like Forte shall we say this is another thing we got for the table it's like candle holder basically it's all christmy it's and all white what else did we get I'll show you this thing up here that we put on our Shelf got a little light switch just just there there we go how nice that looks so christmy along the top there less is more with that I reckon yeah definitely I didn't do a thing for that literally didn't do anything Lucy is so good and I'm so lazy I'm bad yeah I probably would mess it up to to be fair right most important bit are you ready yeah I'm ready are you ready it's time for the star do you want me to do the star no all right you sure no you won't do it right you do it walking all right are you ready no pressure thank this not going to got there i' have to bend it oh my God it's literally just a star nothing on it a star what do you mean like oh it's got a little hole okay I wonder yeah I wonder how it actually went on what are you doing what are you doing it around there it looks oh my God yay well done thank [Music] you this is also something we got which we didn't really know where to put so for now we've actually just left it on the door it's just literally a gray star so it looks quite good though I think and then to go below our little Dr Seuss quote and our like postcards and candle and whatever we got these cool little copper lights I show you close up they're just like really cool like copper they're actual copper made out of metal very christmy and it kind of looks quite nice on there like um uh cookie cutters oh my God they do look like cookie cutters we haven't done anything in the bedroom at the moment it's like so messy now at the moment so we're not going to show you we bought this in Barbados airport it's actually a painting of a street in Antiga done by a lady in Barbados we bought a frame today from the range for it car and I think where's it going in here we're going to put it on that wall there but I don't know this wall is still really blank guys I'm going to make this hot chocolate soon I promise you get off the sofa I'm so tired have you seen the flat I think the jet lag's hitting me now of course it is good TI no seriously I think it is it's actually for us it's qu to 10 at night now UK 9 8 7 so it's actually only quarter to six for us what we've been used to on holiday why would you be tired oh yeah you should be awake I should be like I should be eating dinner should we have some more food you just get something to do yeah I'll do something what do you want me to do tidy all this rubbish away yeah all right right guys it's finally time okay these are behind me don't they some cous no not making cuscus we are making cuscus as well for lunches tomorrow we well Lucy lovely um but no what I meant was it's time to make the ultimate hot chocolate so we're going to show you how to do it hot milk is the key to the perfect hot chocolate I hate hot water ones they taste a bit a bit water and a bit not creamy it's chocolate yeah yeah so you need hot milk then you need some like any hot chocolate B that's the only one co-op had yeah this is the only one they had in Co-op Cab's hot chocolate says stir in hot water but going to use hot milk oh it really hurts it looks so dry oh my God she's got an ala so she just put some bondell on it marshmallows fulls size marshmallows okay none of this mini marshmallow stuff and then guys the secret ingredient are you ready secret ingredients the best hot chocolate Min s cream and then squaty cream to top it off but you never thought putting these on hot chocolate me neither until she bought them today it's hot we bought these Christmas mugs from the range earlier oh I think we showed you yeah they were're right they were right they were right that's going to make it really nice for foamy as well guys if you're looking for a good hot chocolate out and about Gregs trust me really yeah it's like2 go to Gregs get hot chocolate by the way from Monday we're going healthy from tomorrow we're going super healthy you should have seen our food chop our food is good our food chop for the week cost us £3 that's it cuz all we bought was like meat vegetables I'll show you look meat vegetables bit of natural yogurt for our breakfast here Gran fruit and stuff and all this veg and then obviously like obvious like milk and cheese stuff and there's like there's some like fish in the freezer and whatever wa how satisfying very oh I love when it overflows don't you yeah yeah I love it when it's all messy and hard to drink shut up it going down the edges oh my God look at this minal's going in now guys Moment of Truth a little bit more sprink on why is that the moment of truth I don't know there's been a lot of moments of Truth it has buzzing oh my look at that though so much ridiculous looks good doesn't it that looks really good those hot chocolates that you saw amazing so so good few hours later now we've just watched an episode of U Jeremy Clarkson's new TV show The Grand Tour which was really good great fun dud we love Top Gear and this was like a new version fresher Lucy is currently making oh that looks so good this is cuscus avocado spinach um cashew nuts in there for a bit of protein it's basically what we eat for lunches um actual pepper as well you know what would be good as well one day some like little chicken cubes some little Chi cubes chicken little chicken that be good in there yeah it would be good but we've also got other we' got other things to eat with this Haven me it's not it's getting late is it however for us it's still like 4 hours behind this we're ending the Vlog here I'm in the middle of doing my makeup well I'm not doing my makeup I'm taking my makeup off it's midnight and I've got my alarms set for 6:00 for work tomorrow it's going to be a struggle cuz obviously haven't been to work for I think it's 18 days so it's going to be tough um I prepped all the lunches now got everything sorted my clothes are ready in a pile here heels ready at the front door I think I'm as ready as I can be I'm as prepared as I'm willing to be so we'll be all right won't we no no he says no yeah well christmy now we do need to deck out the um bedroom a bit more I think cuz it isn't christmy at all in here but it is quite nice when having the L just like the like christmy like winter wonderland like sanct almost of just Christmas so I don't know we might add some more in here and the kitchen but we'll see um but for now I think it's looking amazing so happy with the Christmas tree as well and obviously it's our first tree like on our own like it's always has been our parents ones we' put up and we had no say and obviously like decorations and stuff it's always like been I guess it's been a dream of mine for so long to be a to make my own Christmas tree and like have what I want and these are going to be our decorations now that we keeping our L and I don't know it's really
