Hey guys, welcome to today's video.
We have so much new drugstore makeup to put on my face.
I'm gonna try it for the first time, tell you all about it.
We are gonna be doing a little body makeup too.
I have this new one from Physicians Formula,
the Butter Glow.
It's said to be waterproof, transfer proof.
We'll see about that.
I'm gonna start prepping my skin with CeraVe Night Cream.
If you know, you know,
I have been obsessed with this for priming.
It's such a good moisturizer that I cannot get enough of.
Ignore the fact that it says for night.
It's a triple ceramide moisturizer.
It sinks into the skin beautifully,
preps the skin gorgeously for makeup, does not pill.
If you have combo leaning dry, seriously,
this one is so absolutely phenomenal.
Okay, also I have to point out the elephant in the room.
I have been attacked.
I am so annoyed because I was sitting outside
doing massive research for the upcoming prime sale,
which stay tuned, I have a good video coming up.
Hit that subscribe button, turn your notifications on.
I'm doing deep, deep research.
Anyway, I was sitting outside for hours yesterday
in my covered outdoor area, like the screens were down.
I woke up this morning.
I literally have mosquito bite here, here.
There's one over here.
I have them on my arms.
I have another one over here.
Like literally, I don't even know how these sleuthy,
stealthy bugs do what they do without you noticing.
I was in a covered area and still with the screen down,
I got assaulted and I had mosquito bracelets on,
which by the way, I now think those are BS.
They're like citronella bracelets.
Who has a good bug spray recommendation?
Have we found anything new that I need to try?
Let me know.
Okay, we're also gonna go in with this new primer
from Wet n Wild.
This is a whopping 638 at Walmart.
It's glass and has a pump.
This is the Prime Focus Clingy Primer.
This has 5% niacinamide.
She feels like honey.
She feels sticky.
Let's just go ahead and have a spa moment
and forget about the dang mosquitoes.
That is, that's got some serious grip
and I think it's fragrance-free.
I like how that feels.
And then for the under eye area,
because you know I love the Aquaphor technique
and I also love using Embryolace
for the under eye to hydrate
and help my concealer go on better.
So anything that's hydrating that comes in a stick
like this guy from Jason Wu,
I am so down to try.
Now this is a peptide.
There's a tug on there.
Peptide-rich formula.
She's thick and creamy.
This has marine collagen,
a multi-peptide complex,
a bunch of vitamins.
That is like thicker than the Aquaphor.
Not sticky.
Just a little balmy.
Not drugstore,
but we're going to do things a little bit different today
because I'm going in with the new Elf Skin Tint,
which is not going to provide a ton of coverage.
I know that going in.
So I'm going to go a little more liberal
with my concealer.
I just want to kind of cover this area
a little more than what I think the skin tint will do
and I'm still super hooked on this concealer.
It wears better than anything I have ever tried.
This stuff does not budge.
While every concealer out there
is going to crease to some degree
because hello, our faces move.
We smile.
This one is very resistant
to getting any of those bizarre,
really big, crepey creases.
So I really like the formula for that as well.
She's a winner.
We have got two shades from Elf.
This is the brand new Halo Glow Skin Tint.
I have the shade 6 Light Cool
and then I also have 9 Medium Cool,
which just looking at the back of my hand,
I think the Medium Cool is going to be better for me.
Yeah, we're going to go in with Medium Cool.
This is really liquidy, very thin.
This has a mineral SPF of 50.
I typically do really well with mineral SPF
instead of chemical SPF.
That's a little dark,
but we are going to put on some body makeup
and I am a little bit darker on the body right now.
So we're just going to pat this in.
And hope for the very best.
Now, this is available in 18 shades.
It says that it is water resistant.
Love that.
It's up there in price.
I want to say this is 18 bucks.
So for Elf, it's like,
uh, Elf, what are we doing?
This is very, very expensive in your world specifically.
That's a lot of money for an Elf product.
I saw that and I was like,
am I losing my mind
or is that like kind of crazy expensive for Elf?
It's actually giving decent coverage.
The coverage does say light to medium.
I'm impressed.
This is giving more than I thought it would.
It's a little dark for me.
I'm really hoping this doesn't oxidize.
I'm going to brighten things up just a tiny bit
with a little more concealer here.
The nice thing about this concealer too,
it layers really well.
We're doing a little bit of a high-low hybrid
because I have all these new products to try,
but I want to integrate the things
that I'm using on a daily basis with them
to see how they flow together.
This is my Givenchy pressed powder.
You can see I've hit pan.
She is a excellent powder.
This is number three.
I'm just going to take a velour puff,
tap a little bit of the excess off on my hand
and just focus on the center of the face to brighten.
I'm shocked at how well that covered
and how nice my skin feels and looks.
Now we're going to go in with lips
because this is going to have to sit on my mouth
for a hot minute and dry before I can peel it off.
This is very similar to Wonderskin.
Statue has a great peel-off lippy that we have all seen.
This is $10 from Revolution.
It's the Lip Shift Ink.
I'm going to go in with Rose Ink.
Really cute packaging.
It feels more high-end than just drugstore $10 Revolution.
This looks exactly like the Statue,
but it can be a little scary.
Uh-oh, put on.
Okay, immediately the brush is not as good
as the other brands I just mentioned.
Like it's patchy.
I don't like this.
It's hard to get like saturation.
Oh no.
Oh gosh, I mean it's perfect.
Oh thank you so much, sir.
Here's some broth made from the bones of your enemies.
Oh wow.
Um, what's the saying?
Only hot girls have gut issues.
I'm drinking bone broth.
Because it's the only thing that makes my stomach feel better right now.
If you know, you know.
Thank you, James.
With a straw and everything.
I love it.
I love that you're so non-reactive.
He just like walks out.
He's like, oh well, another day.
Another day in the beauty studio.
What's she up to now?
This is a dang mess, you guys.
I really thought this would be like a good dupe.
I do not recommend.
This is patchy AF.
Oh my god, no.
Okay, you guys, I can't even do this.
Like I honestly, I gotta take it off.
Because holy crap, that is not it.
Okay, oh man.
Abort, abort.
No.
Oh, it's okay to make mistakes.
It's just makeup.
You know what's gonna make me feel better?
Hello Kitty.
This is a really adorable palette.
This is new from Pixi.
You get everything in here.
Bronzer, highlight, blush.
So let's just go to town and blush up the face.
I'm gonna kind of mix these two right here.
Pretty subtle.
I'm noticing that around the nose of the skin tech is a little bit of an issue.
She's cute, she's fresh, she's doing the job.
We're gonna load up a fluffier brush right here
and just kind of pounce this on the perimeter.
Not sculpting, just doing kind of a fresh bronzy little bit on the skin.
I'm not mad at that.
It doesn't patch at all.
Into the shade peachy up here.
We're gonna grab a little bit and just shine up the skin.
We're going for glow.
We're going for skin, skin focus, glow.
Perfect.
Everything I needed.
Really, really nice.
I think we should move to brows.
This could be another disaster because I typically don't like a felt tip anything.
This is new from e.l.f.
This is the Holy Strokes micro fine brow pen.
You guys may have seen in my mega Ulta haul.
If you haven't watched that, I'll link it below.
That I got all of this stuff all in one swoop and I had too much to try on in that one video.
So here we are finally putting it to the test.
This is the iddiest bittiest little micro felt tip though.
So maybe it can work.
So this is seven dollars.
I don't hate it.
I feel like I might need a little bit of brow powder or something extra
because my brows are a little lackluster.
There's just not much to work with.
It's giving a natural brow.
Like it's giving those actual brow hair strokes.
Let's move to the lids.
I have for like $3.50 these wet and wild shadows.
You can buy these on Amazon.
They are so inexpensive.
This is a great everyday setup.
Let's go on in with that lighter transition shade first.
And again, I'm not going for full crazy glam.
I want to keep this pretty natural.
We'll build out the crease.
This doesn't need too much perfection.
You don't need to be an expert.
It shouldn't take you too much time.
And you can even take the excess that's on your brush
and kind of graze it down the sides of the nose.
Sometimes that adds like a really nice tiny bit of a contour that's not too obnoxious.
If you're going for more of a skin tint clean girl makeup moment.
I'm now going to go into this shade right here that's a little more bronzy.
Same brush and I'm just going to sweep this on the lid.
Is this the best shadow I've ever used in my life?
No.
Is it the worst?
No.
Is it under five bucks?
Yes.
Taking the pinky shade in the middle using my fingertip.
I'm just going to tap this on the center of the lid.
Just for a little bit of an eye opening little highlight moment.
Simple, clean, pretty.
I'm going to line my eyes using the darkest shade and an itty bitty liner.
Tapping off the excess and just going really really close to the lash line.
I am going to flick it out just a tiny little bit.
If you struggle at all doing a wing try using a liner brush and a dark brown chocolatey shadow.
It's so much easier and way less intimidating than using a felt tip liner.
And also it just looks more natural.
It's softer.
I think it can be a little more current a little more daytime friendly.
But just gives the eyes a nice lift.
We need more brow.
I'm going to go in with my NYX powder louder and fill things in further.
So much better.
Like for me that's more in my comfort zone.
I feel like I just need a little more pigment.
Now taking this lighter shade right here.
I'm just going to go right underneath the high point of my brow.
I'm not going to extend it out just right in the center to give a little bit of a lift.
And let's hit the inner corner as well.
We have new tubing mascara that is said to be volumizing and lengthening.
This is the mega extension and volume tubing mascara from revolution.
This is a new launch.
It's called wrap lash.
Now there are three colors here.
We have a brown a plum and black.
But you know what I'm putting my thinking cap on and actually I want to spray the face down
first before we go into tubing mascara.
That is something important with tubing mascara.
You don't want to be doing heavy setting mists on top of it.
It can kind of make those tubes loosen and smudge which is not the plan.
Revolution just launched three new setting mists.
We have these super fix ultra glow illuminating fixing mist.
Now this is a brightening mist which I think I'm going to use this one today.
It has caffeine and argon oil.
We also have the hydro cool which is straight up dewy.
I don't know that I want that.
It's coconut water and hyaluronic acid.
But if you have drier skin that might be the way to go.
If you want something that is going to lengthen the wear time of your makeup,
make it budge proof, you want something more mattifying and not so dewy or illuminating,
then you'll want to go with something like this.
The super hold ultra matte fixing mist.
This has aloe vera and vitamin e.
I like the packaging on all of these but we're going to go in with this guy right here.
I have the dyson on hand and I have a feeling the jasper is going to go haywire.
So three, two, one, let's just dive on in.
It didn't go off, thank god.
I kind of feel like I want to do a final layering mist with this one, the mattifying one.
See if this makes my nose run because I have been in allergy hell.
You guys know I complain about the whole histamine thing.
Oh my god, I caved between like, oh now the jasper is going off.
I caved because of all the bug bites.
I woke up and I was like, I think I'm actually dying.
So I took a claritin and honestly, tell me I'm not alone.
Claritin makes me feel mentally so crazy.
Like I'm sitting here trying to talk about products and my brain kind of feels like,
oh my god, like we're on a roller coaster.
But like I just couldn't hang.
I could not do it so I caved.
Um, welcome to my mood.
Cheers friends.
While that's kind of sinking in, I think we should move to the body for a moment
with the physician's formula.
Now I did take a pump of this on one arm the other day.
I just got too curious and I didn't love it at first.
But I want to give this like a good go and really rub it in.
I thought for some reason this would be like the Sally Hansen legs and that it would be
an aerosol spray just because the bottle kind of looked like that.
But it's actually just like a cream.
It's just a mousse-y cream, but it's supposed to be waterproof.
Wow, that really has some color to it.
I kind of want to give you guys like a side by side.
Like look at that.
The game with these is rub fast.
Like you, you are in a hurry.
You want to get that stuff blended, especially when it's formulated to lock in.
Be sure to get your wrists.
I don't like change my mind.
I like that quite a bit.
Like instant tan.
Okay, we're going to go on the chest, pump it on a foundation brush.
See if it can kind of dull out my little bikini lines.
Cover up maybe some of those bug bites.
Bro, this is nice.
Jasper, I love you.
We don't got time for this today.
Goodbye.
You guys, look how smooth my skin looks.
Okay, now here's the bonus tip.
This is what I do.
Go in and take your highlighter.
I'm going to go back into that peachy guy right here.
And I'm just going to graze this on my shoulders.
We're looking a little intentionally sweaty.
A little bit on the collarbone here.
Nothing too crazy.
You just want a little bit of that sexy like shoulder gleam to lock it in further.
I then go on the arm with a really mega hold setting mist.
And that ensures that you are really like you're going to have to scrub a dub dub to
get this crap off, which is what you want.
You don't want to have to worry about product transferring everywhere.
So I recommend using something that claims to be waterproof transfer resistant.
And then also loading yourself up with your fixing setting spray on the body.
You are welcome.
Like my skin looks so glowy and uniform.
So nice.
Back to the mascara.
We're ready to go with this.
I'm going to go in to this chocolatey brown one right here.
Show me what you got, Revolution.
I have been so in to tubing mascaras because they do not smudge or budge.
There's nothing worse than when your lashes, especially on the lower lash line, smudge
everywhere.
It just ruins the look immediately.
If I'm wearing waterproof, I will see so many lashes in my sink.
And I'm like, oh my gosh, it dries my lashes out so badly when I use waterproof too much.
So I try in my mind, I'm like, just use a tubing because it does not smudge, but it
comes off so easily that you're not like ruining your lashes.
We're going to go in with this purple one.
This might be a mistake, but let's try it on the lower lash just for fun.
I actually really like that.
Not bad.
Revolution.
I like it.
And I can't resist.
I just, I don't feel myself until I have my 421s on.
So we're going to go in, pop these puppies on real quick.
Using the world's best glue.
This is the velour lash glue.
You can pick this up at Ulta.
12 bucks, I believe.
So worth it.
Does not yank your lashes out at the end of the day when you go to remove your lashes,
but hugs them on so tight and also doesn't irritate your eyes.
Super curious to try these new smushy matte lip balms.
This is, oh my god, that is so bright and it is absolutely matte.
This is the shade Sassy Stuff.
And then we have the shade Snuggle Season.
That is so pretty.
We also have Swipe Sesh, which is more of a brighter pink.
Maybe I try this one.
That's so strange.
I'm so used to a balm being shiny that it feels like a balm.
It's pigmented, but there's like zero zilch, no shine.
The scent is very tropical.
It's pleasant.
Every part of me wants to put a gloss on top,
but I'm just gonna let this live and take a moment to get used to it.
We also have a new brow product from e.l.f.
This is their brow laminating gel.
Let's just fluff them up and see if this does anything extra special to help the brow area out.
This looks a lot like the one from Benefit that I like,
as far as it being like a waxy, creamy formula.
Wipe a little of the excess off.
That's always a good tip if you don't want too much going in the brow itself.
I'm just gonna swipe the brows up.
Yeah, look at that difference.
That's nice.
I think the Benefit one is definitely better.
Like this almost has a little bit of a white cast to it, but it's not bad.
Let me go for like a little more blush.
Okay, clean, good drugstore products.
I'm gonna go fuss with my hair and I will be right back.
The way that I love my makeup right now, you guys.
I cannot believe my skin looks this good with a skin tint.
I am the woman that never likes skin tints, but if there's a new one launching,
especially at the drugstore and enough of you guys are like, please try it.
I'm gonna give it my best.
Now, I have to say that this is really like the star of the show.
I'm gonna be reaching for this tomorrow and probably the next day.
Love that it's a mineral SPF 50.
I think the price is really crazy high and that's why I was kind of side-eyeing it.
I'm like, oh my gosh, like are we like in the wrong part of Ulta?
18 bucks for this little bitty bottle, but she is gorgeous, you guys.
Did not oxidize, did not change into a weird orange deeper color.
I think this looks really good.
It's covering me enough.
It feels great.
I'm not itching from the SPF.
Everything said and done, like this is the hero product of this video.
Love.
The second runner-up for being like an all-star, this is the surprise hit.
I was doing my hair and I kept looking in the mirror and I'm like, oh my gosh.
My skin looks so uniform.
It was so quick to blend.
It's not transferring.
It doesn't feel sticky, goopy, weird.
It looks very natural.
I think this is a winning product from Physicians Formula for sure.
The rest of it, I like it.
I like it.
I'm gonna go ahead and say I love these.
I love the color selection.
That plum on the lower lash line is doing it for me.
Love this under eye primer from Jason Wu, which technically you could use this on the
whole face, but I'm doing it to really plush up the under eye area and it worked beautifully
for that.
I also want to say that these smushy matte lippies, okay, first reaction, don't love
it.
I was like, I need a gloss.
I need a gloss.
I need a gloss, but they feel so comfortable.
And as far as the evenness going from the applicator itself, it's a little bit tricky
to get a totally even matte application.
I ended up taking a shadow brush and just kind of blending out.
I picked up a little more color and just kind of fanned it out ever so slightly.
And now I love it.
And this particular color that I'm wearing, Swipe Sesh, is beautiful.
Typically at the drugstore, it's really hard to get this kind of a sophisticated pink.
Pinks tend to be too cool toned, too bright, too punchy, and it can look kind of aging
and a little 80s.
This is like the most perfect pink.
I'm in love with these.
What I'm not so in love with is the Elf Brow.
Now this one, the tip on here is already getting kind of worn down and I just started using
it.
So while it's not terrible, it's not great.
I would pass the Brow Wax.
I'm going to say L'Oreal does it better.
Benefit does it better.
Ardell does it better if you want something else from the drugstore.
So that's a pass as well.
I'm really into seeing how these different setting mists work.
I will try them out a few more times, but I love the bottle.
I love the mist on it.
I love the ingredients.
Those are great.
And of course, we didn't like the little moment with the lip stain.
This has got to go revolution.
I don't know what the deal is with the applicator being so blotchy, but this one was a pass
for me.
But everything's said and done.
What an epic makeup day.
This is my lane.
I love it.
If you guys enjoyed this video and you want more drugstore try-ons, be sure to give this
a thumbs up.
Leave me comments below.
I love hearing from you guys.
And other than that, go and have a great day, whatever you are doing.
And I will see you guys in my next video.
