MOVING IN TOGETHER: GETTING THE KEYS!

We're in. We're here. We're in our flat. We're here. We're in the new place. We're in our home. We've been talking about it for so long. Yeah. And here we are. Now myself and my mate, Zach, and my sister, Jazz, have been here pretty much all day. It's actually like seven o'clock in the evening now. We've been working all day, really, really hard decorating stuff. This is what we've been up to. So with some much needed help from my buddy, Zach, we have some furniture in the flat in cardboard boxes. This wallpaper is going. Don't worry about that. It is 10 o'clock. Zach met me at half eight, and we've been and picked up this furniture. We've been and got paint. And now we've got to get to work. First little job done. We had this. This was like a curtain rail, and it went up along there. And Lucy was like, that's got to go. We're not having curtains on this little window. This window is really cool. It's like a little thin one. We're not going to show you too much of the place yet, because we want to get it all nice and then we'll do a proper flat tour. Yeah. Work has definitely begun. I've just popped out quickly. Zach is back at the flat. He is drilling the holes for the TV bracket, because we're going to have the TVs on the wall in the lounge in the bedroom, and he wanted to do the drilling before he started painting. Smart idea. I wouldn't have thought of that. Well done, Zach. I've just realized I haven't eaten anything today at all. So I'm going out. I'm going to do a Starbucks run, taking some orders, because Lucy's mum is also kindly coming over to clean. So I'm going to get some coffees in, going to try and find some food in town, and then get back to work. Lucy's got it lightly, hasn't she? Yes, she's at work, but none of this hard laboring going on. Bakery. That is what we want. What shall I get? We're starting to get some paint on the walls. Go around all the corners first, and we're going to get the big rollers out. Heaters off the wall. That can go. We're getting a new one there, because our sofa is going to go there and there. Again, that wallpaper, go in. Got one more little helper. There he is. Hello. Yeah, one sec. The time... Oh, I don't have my watch on, and I don't... Where's my phone? Time is 3.17. The time is 3.17. What? Oh my God, I'm so stupid. I've just said, where's my phone? And I'm holding it, vlogging. Sorry if the quality's a little bit worse on this clip. I forgot my camera, but I wanted to give you guys a little update. It is 20 past three. We've come out to get more paint, because we've run out already. Yeah, but we've got the whole living room pretty much... Oh, that's Tom Leach. The whole lounge painted, including ceilings, the first coat. So we're kind of like, waiting for that to dry, and then we're going to get the second coat on. My arms are aching already. Zach Light hasn't broken a sweat yet. True professional. Hi, guys. Just got here. Just finished work. It's six o'clock, and I'm about to go and see what the guys and Jaz have been doing so far. It's such a busy and long day at work, so I can't wait now just to see what they've been up to, and just get on with a bit myself as well, because I actually quite like painting, I think. I don't know. Always getting there. I'm covered in paint now. I was like, I'm not going to be painting, I'm going to leave me, and now look, I'm covered. Look at our hands. Yeah, we're all literally covered. Are these all my eyelash? Again, without trying to show you too much, we've got a little... We've got some of this paint done here. First coat. Are they not so much yet? No. Have you shown them the grey wall yet? I don't think we should. That is the question. Should we show them the grey wall? I'm going to give them very... Can I do this? No. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Because I've got to go to the shop in a bit. Oh. So mean. Like Rudolph. I'm going to show you. Don't tell Lucy. I'm going to give you a very small sneak peek of the grey feature. It looks really, really good. No. A tiny bit. No, no. Just literally. Ready? That is what we're seeing. Okay, it's 10 o'clock now. You can probably see how tired I look. This is the current set up. Me and Jaz just went out to Tesco to get some food. Zach eating a pasty. Lucy eating another pasty, and they're using the old paint trays as plates. As a proper builder. As a proper builder set up. I'll show you what else we've got quickly. We've got some Maltesers cookies, some apple donuts, Pringles, pancakes, fruit. These were cool. Samosas and spring rolls, but we're not sure if we need to cook them. But we'll find out. Hope you've been enjoying the progress of today. We've made some ... We think by tomorrow, we're going to be finished with all the painting pretty much. I need to sleep soon. Look how knackered we look. Right, it's 11 o'clock. We're going to call it a day here. We've done really, really well. Lots of progress, actually. Much more than I expected. Back here early tomorrow morning. Yeah. Hope this vlog's been interesting. We haven't ... I don't feel like we've filmed much. Sorry, can we just appreciate this other head I've got on my head?
