MOVING IN TOGETHER: BUYING OUR FIRST SOFA!!

boiling what is it 20° 20° wow start eating this do we're off um Furniture shopping today for the flat so we're going to get hopefully buy a SAA today um have a look around at some ideas for other things and also get some paint samples cuz we decorating the whole thing so for anyone who has just started following us or just started watching these videos or you don't know we are moving in together yeah 14th of September that's scary we've actually got a date now which is mad George has kindly decided to uh go away with his dad mountain biking for an entire week after we get the keys so I'm going to have to just sort of start doing stuff on my own which is really helpful if anyone wants to help me paint then please let me know because I'm going to be desperate in the last video we said that there would be a lot of flat related Vlogs coming up y this is what one of them so we're off now what's first up B qain sample so we'll see you there bye okay there's way way way way too many different types of paint and I feel kind of lost do you know what we're looking for nope we have glossy or mat I don't know we know we need white so let's just find mat don't we we don't shiny I guess so I don't know I've never been to be queue for myself what are you doing I've never been like when your parents take you when you're a kid these names of these paints are hilarious white Mist in Vlogs oh yeah sorry cutting that out should we get barbecue be in a flat without a garden got all the paint testers that we need and now we are going off to order a sofa maybe have you ever bought a sofa before me neither this is so weird so weird the flat we're getting is completely empty so we're going to have to put everything in there which is good because we can do it exactly how we want but it's expensive and we don't know what we're doing really I just want to reemphasize how much of a beautiful day it is this wao wao wo about to get run over by Van this feels like the first day of summer really these blue skies it's actually warm we're wearing shorts for some reason on the sunniest day so far we've chosen to be indoors all the time buying furniture we know what you might be thinking but we're only getting a drink a large Sprite Oasis please Oasis large yeah hi can I have a large Sprite and a large Oasis please George seems to think that we can take the money from Ni out of our budget for the flat which I'm saying no to because costs it's budget no it's not it's not petty cash it's our own money coming out of our own money I'd rather not spend an oasis from like where we should be buying like bulbs and stuff but the activity of going to buy all this flat stuff is going to incur costs such as drinks our own money not our budget a pub Lune no not a pub Lune it's not acceptable I'd rather be going here but instead we have to go here it is really big that's huge actually it out this is the one we've seen online thank you DFS what's his name oh Stuart I think he we we have just bought our first sofa and an armchair that is and like fabric protction spray got and delivery and there like kit to clean it yeah so what we did because we want all our friends to come and stay over we ordered the one with the sofa bed yeah so you pull it out and it makes it basically two bedroom flat yeah so we spent how much more was it you don't need to know it was like a couple hundred quid more we've basically just been like totally like cheated on and like told us we wanted it all so he a good salesman yeah very good but that is so exciting isn't it yeah it's going to be delivered like I think the 20th of September of Mor last be delivered to us um and it's three FL stairs up so I said it's actually was like no it's fine the delivery guys will yeah it's absolutely huge I can't wait to do a flat tour but we're going to go to TK Max now and have a look for some some's puked there Let's Walk This Way how's that don't you're not allowed to do that want like a massive Bowl okay Luc is so particular about glasses we have bought a nice clh bath mat well we're going to buy it we're starting from scratch basically so we got about everything pots and pans we're now trying out towels think it's we've got two siid basically and we're trying to work out I'm wear one and a massive one we can't work out one got it wrapped right around me you got try these things out this one's a bit too big oh maybe we got my fake hands going to be amazing these they won't even come out hold it up I think that's a fine size I'd rather have smaller than have a massive annoying thing like drag around there there's no to put it we're going to get four so when guests come around we're all set up we basically want to set it up so we can have another couple over and they got everything we're in m& now looking at plates and monks and stuff what do these plates look like they look like Poké Balls yes we're not get them don't worry successful day so far we've been to DFS we bought a sofa Tesco we bought some bit Dell Mill next home Tesco M&S went to Oak Furniture Land for a bit as well that was a laugh uh we're going to head home now we're going to try and find some bits and pieces online cuzz Groupon have some stuff You' seen some pots and pans hope you're enjoying this Vlog it's very very like moving into a new place based I just drow in like I know we're we're flagging a little bit now we're tired my feet my long shoes today I'm wear my high hills oh no so we're going to head home get online see what other Bargains we can find why you can run this side you live that side I'm opening the door for you why you a gentleman might unlock the car let's unlock it first why are you open the door for me no actually walked around here by mistake I rather you didn't okay thanks that's really annoying you were in the way so we were on our way home um to get some food and stuff chill out go for what we found but we actually stopped at one last shop and we bought a wardrobe a dining room table cutlery place mats coasters a table runner um oh tea towels and Cutlery I said that oh sorry I wasn't listening so yeah we've done quite well I done really well we've bought so much stuff if you're wondering how we been getting all this in this car we haven't we haven't actually got anything with us really apart from the small stuff we got the small it's all on delivery for September yeah so we've all managed to get that all sorted which is really really good um the Wardrobe we've gone for is so nice it's like um one door's uh like white the other door is like a mirror and it's like sliding and you've got like lights in the top little LEDs it looks so cool the only thing is apparently it's an absolute nightmare to assemble and it's flat pack so again if there's any helpers out there that want to come and assemble our flat paint it for us then please do now it is really home time um so thank God yeah I'm knacked I look knacked as well my makeup come off oh we've got hot dogs do we yeah cool perfect we'll make some hot dogs when we get home I can't believe look how burnt I've got this is literally from being sat in this car with the roof down for like probably a total of half an hour today I've gotten so burn and annoyed I well hello doggies hello how you doing doing you had a good day here we have it today's haul so we've got some nice Cutlery here really nice solid we've got these mates here for the table and also a nice table runner so it goes across the table sort of length ways and then we can just put the mats over it these slate coasters these test is here for the paint so we might have a feature we need to decide if we want a dark gray or a light gray we've got three I didn't realize there was so different types of white um but we've got three types of white here the paint we've got this massive bath mat it's so like plush and soft really nice big rug called bed spread to put on the end of the bed it looks pink in this but it's actually like gray four towels um apparently they get like three times bigger after washing them a few times before washing and after three washes they get much like bigger so they like really plush anyway and then they get more soft um so there's the gray ones for us and then we got white ones for me our friends over got some champagne fluts of course to celebrate the move um some wine glasses and these just for like water and things um and then the we've got some tea towers as well so I think we've done really well today got so much stuff now we're pretty much sorted literally we' got there's still so much to buy bathroom stuff uh what bathroom stuff Al just stuff to go in the bathroom I love how that's your priority we've got same other stuff to get in your life bathroom cabinets it's hard cuz we've bought like a sofa today but we've also bought coasters it's weird random we're just looking on Groupon and they have some such good deals gy is that is that is in like the car the car go up to that see-through toaster no it's not see-through toaster it's a see how cool is that like blue LEDs and it bubbles in and that should be 60 good and that's $1 1998 Groupon's good man you got to check out Groupon I've just been adding up all the money we spent today and what we've done we've been saving over the last couple of months from so we've put like 00 much but we' put some money in a in an account and we've been paying this for ourselves today and now we're adding it all up and seeing what it come to and then we're going to transfer that amount from the account where we've been saving our normal accounts if you're interested in our finances so um more so in a weird way it doesn't feel like we're spending any money because we've been saving it for months and months and so what we everything we spent today which has added up to quite a lot hasn't hasn't come out of our everyday money as I call it account has come out of our joint savings account for the flat yeah so perfect good idea to save money actual money money actual money I mean actual man guys I got a confession should I do this now or not okay no let me talk about this please this morning I got in the car and George Went I've got a haircut tomorrow oh cool and then he started really laughing and I was like what and he was like I've got to tell you something right is it bad am I going to get annoyed about it no no it's fine um well we might okay what is it and then this happened why am I telling these guy why just show we could have kept this to ourselves no I put this hat on and I looked here and cuz my hair haven't had a haircut for a while it was really long so I thought I'll get my beard trimmer and just trim these little side bits but what actually happened like I I'm not a hairdresser or anything so like it it's no fade just cut it it look like B cut just cut it really oh my God ien touched the back it's ridiculous and now I'm sunburn so I look really weird P that off again why your sunburnt come here so you've got a line here yeah my God can you see that oh dear St so what I did I rung up my headdresses and thank God she is working tomorrow Nina Richard John you're a lifesaver and you don't even know it yet I don't know if I'm going to tell you the truth about this he's been walking around all day in every shop going I don't know what I'm going to tell her maybe I'll say my mate did it maybe I'll say I was drunk maybe I'll say oh I just tried it just for to be funny and I was like know you're just gonna sound stupid and like really really silly say that just say you tried to sort it out yourself and realized you'd messed up you know need to do something really stupid and then instantly regret it that's what I did don't cut your own hair don't do it it's no point but thank God I've got an emergency appointment tomorrow so we're going to fix it don't worry dinner hot dogs jacked potato cheese perfect it might look a bit
