Hey everyone! If you are new here, hello. My name is Jackie. I apologize for my dog whining over there.
My name is Jackie. My channel is dedicated to all things cozy, slow living, very seasonal, with a lot of cabin features.
Today, I'm at my favorite cabin in the entire world.
If you follow me on Instagram or TikTok, you know that I call this cabin my witchy cabin.
I've been coming here for years. This is my fourth year.
Mike and I have made a tradition to come here every fall with the dogs and we do waterfall hikes.
Usually, we're up on the Blue Ridge Parkway, but that's closed right now.
I love this place. This is in no way gifted or affiliated. I just love this cabin so much.
I have to share it with you guys because I feature it in my social media reels and videos all of the time.
If you know my coffee video where I do my Halloween countdowns and fall countdowns, that's from this cabin.
I'm telling you, this cabin is so magical. It's very rustic.
If you're into that, this is the cabin for you.
I will be sure to link the Airbnb in the description.
I believe it's called the Old Log Cabin, but I've just nicknamed it the witchy cabin, but that's what I call it.
Part of this cabin is still from the original cabin.
The original cabin was built, I believe, in the 1890s.
Isn't that crazy? That's one of the reasons why I love it so much.
It really has that rustic cabin vibe.
I, of course, love a modern A-frame like the one I was just at,
but there's something about being in a rustic old cabin.
The vibe just hits different.
Like I said, it's a little witchy.
I also think it has a little spooky vibe, which is also why I love it so much.
If you're into that vibe, you're going to love this place.
Right now, as I'm filming this, it's October 25th and it is peak fall.
I'm about to have the best few days here. I cannot wait.
Okay, let's go see the cabin.
Here's the cabin. I love this walkway.
It really has such a fairytale vibe to it, especially on this walkway.
Let me show you what the owner did.
He went and opened this door.
Look at that. So magical, so fairytale.
All of this is part of the original cabin, which I just think is so, so cool.
The landscaping is so beautiful.
Hello, Ruru.
Look at the foliage up there. It's peak.
Here's the front of the cabin. It is just such a vibe.
I love sitting out here in the mornings with my coffee.
They have bird feeders and the birds just come and eat right in front of you.
He even put out a little pumpkin.
Look how witchy and wonderful this is.
This cabin is located in Rosman, North Carolina, right outside Brevard.
I consider Brevard my second home at this point just because we have been here so many times.
Okay, let's go inside.
Okay, here's the inside of the cabin.
Like I said, y'all, it's very rustic, but that's what we're going for.
That's the vibe we're going for, and that's why you would stay here.
All of this wood paneling, that's from the original home.
The fireplace is from the original home as well.
I apologize for my dog.
Like I said in the last video, she does not like when I'm not paying attention to her.
Here is the living room.
Again, very rustic, but I'm just so in love with the wood paneling.
I'm telling you, I haven't stayed in any other cabin like this.
Then there's a bunch of vintage photos, which again, can give off a spooky vibe, which I personally enjoy.
Here's the upstairs. I will take you there in a second.
It's really cool.
Here's the adorable kitchen.
I love this kitchen so much.
I love a tiny kitchen, and look at the trees out there.
Look at the Japanese maple tree.
Is that not such a beautiful view?
Then right outside the kitchen is another screen door and patio area.
This actually looks a little bit newer.
It looks like this has been updated a little bit, which is nice.
They've put out some mulch, so you can sit here and just look at the trees and leaves.
Look at that maple tree. This is so pretty.
This is what I mean by a little bit spooky, especially this lady.
I don't know who she is, but she's been there for four years.
I still get a little spooked, but again, that's why we're here.
Now I'm going to take you to the bathroom and master bedroom.
I love this hallway so much, again, because it has the original wood.
I love it.
This bathroom is so adorable and vintage.
Look at that tub. I love a tub.
You have the skylight window.
Let me explain the white squirrel.
The white squirrel is the mascot of Brevard.
I don't know if any of y'all are familiar with squirrels.
If you live in the United States or anywhere on the East Coast, you probably are.
We have squirrels all over Atlanta, but not white squirrels.
White squirrels are special to Brevard, North Carolina.
Mike and I actually saw one today.
That's the backstory of the white squirrel and why that photo is there.
I love this bathroom.
Taking you guys to the master.
We've already put our luggage here.
Again, it's super cute and vintage.
It's nothing like my modern A-frames, but that's not why I come here.
I come here for the very rustic vibe.
I just love it in here.
I'm going to take you upstairs now.
This area is so cool. I can't wait to show you.
This is the second bedroom.
This has the Rapunzel fairytale door that I'm so obsessed with.
It looks out into the leaves and woods.
The host, Chuck, like I said, I know him by name at this point because I've stayed here so many times.
He had this open for us as we arrived.
Isn't this so cute?
The bedroom up here looks down into the living room, which I think is super cool.
It's like a little loft bedroom.
You can look down.
Even walking on the wood, it's so creaky. I love it.
It gives off that spooky cabin vibe.
I'll take you guys through the outside of the cabin now.
Around the house to the side, you can walk up into the woods, which is one of my favorite parts of the cabin.
We'll do some walks with the dogs up here.
I'll take you all up there.
I love this angle of the house so much.
Look at the leaves falling. This is perfection.
When we make a fire, I don't know if we'll need that this weekend.
If you make a fire and go into the woods, it looks like a cute little hocus pocus cabin.
I just love this vantage point.
This is my favorite witchy little cabin that I feature so much.
I'm so happy that I finally got to share it with you guys.
I only talk about it all the time.
I'm so excited that I get to share this little place that I love so much with y'all.
Again, I'll be sure to link the Airbnb in the description.
Be sure to check that out if you're in this area.
I promise you, you won't regret it.
It's pretty affordable for Airbnb cabins.
I've stayed at a lot of Airbnb cabins.
This is one of the most affordable ones I've stayed at, especially during peak fall.
Why wouldn't you?
This has been such a fun weekend already.
I was at Little Mountain A-Frame right before this, and now we're here.
Mike and I are going to stay here for a few days.
We're probably going to do some hiking and just relax and enjoy fall.
This is what I live for.
This is truly what I live for, so I'm just soaking it all in.
Somehow, we lucked out with the most beautiful weather and weekend ever.
I'll probably do a little fall vlog for you guys, too, and just show you guys what I've been up to outside of the cabins.
Anyways, I hope you guys like this video.
Be sure to like, comment, and subscribe.
Again, if you like the cabin tours, please comment and let me know because I love doing these.
I'm more than happy to share my cabin trips with y'all.
I do one about once a month, if not every two months.
This is a big part of my heart, something that I'm really passionate about and love doing.
Anyways, thanks you guys for watching, and I will talk to you later. Bye!
