Wow!
It's cool isn't it?
Hi guys, we've just bought a brand new camera, this is it now.
Canon PowerShot G7X.
It's going to be really good for vlogging hopefully so we're going to make much more
out and about little videos.
We've come to Ikea today, so we're going to try and film some stuff.
Oh, hang on, it's flashing red.
Okay, this might just be an intro to the new camera and when we get home we'll probably
do some more just so we can show you the camera a bit better but we thought we'd test it out
in the car park.
We've just come straight from the shops, we haven't had a chance to charge it yet.
Look where we are!
Yeah!
It's freezing and it's wet.
Why are we going outside?
Why are we outside?
I'm going to put the camera away because it's going to get wet and it's brand new.
See you inside.
So we're in Ikea food hall.
Here comes Lucy with the food.
Oh, get the fruit!
Nice!
In Ikea looking at bathrooms.
Hey, hello.
Having fun in there?
It's quite a nice bar.
So we're back home and I've just got some charge on the camera finally.
Do you know, remember when you were a kid and you'd get a present and it needed batteries
and you didn't have batteries?
That's what this was like.
I got this camera at, what's the time, I got it at like 12, did we get it at about 12?
Yeah.
Got it at like 12 today and...
Oh no, it was half 11 wasn't it?
Because we basically, hi, we got to John Lewis at half 10 but they wouldn't, it was only
for browsing for the first half, no, and they don't let you buy anything until 11, it was
ridiculous.
Yeah, it was really annoying.
It was a tease.
So we got in there and I said, I know I wanted this camera, oh there's a light, there's some
light, and they were like, you can't have it until 11, I'm really sorry.
And I was like, are you kidding, I just want to buy this camera, you're turning down a
sale.
They were like, yes, at 11 you can buy it, I was like, fine, I'll wait until 11.
The only thing I'm worried about is, see this, think I'm coming down with something, got
a little bit of a rash, do you think I've got a rash?
Yeah, probably.
My skin looks so red, I genuinely think it's because I ate McDonald's today.
We stopped off on the way home and had a medium Coke and a mayo chicken.
Yeah, when I eat McDonald's and stuff, I swear that my skin goes rubbish, it's awful.
But back on tomorrow, tomorrow's the 4th of January, back to work, back to normal life,
so no more unhealthy stuff, hopefully.
So my turn now, George has gone back to his house to get his Mac, so we can edit this
a bit later on tonight, because he forgot it earlier.
God, I look a bit red as well, my nose, wow, look at that focus.
Yeah, so George has gone out, he was saying about how we're being more healthy now, so
I'm just going to eat my candy pizza I got for Christmas from my mum.
It looks like literally the most vile thing in the world, but I don't know, what's there
not to like?
Oh my god, it's got these little mini pizzas, do you remember when you were younger and
used to get these?
I'm going to take you for a tour around my room actually while we're here.
So, this is where I get ready in the mornings, my make-up and my candles and my necklaces.
This is the best bit, my wardrobe, this is the picture, oh it's really messy actually,
and that's my bed.
Have you not gone yet?
No, your mum gave me some toffee.
Oh no thanks.
Have it, it's rude.
Do you want it?
No.
Why have you got it then?
Did she give it to you?
She was like, give this to Lucy.
Look, my mum's trying to fatten me up.
Want to put it down here?
But I don't want it, it hurts my teeth.
Yeah, have it.
Bye.
Have you shown them?
Yeah, it's a bit grim isn't it?
Look at my hair.
I know, I just did a room tour but it's a bit messy.
Good.
Right, back soon.
Bye.
I wish I didn't have a full-time job and I could just film my life in this, that'd be
cool.
I don't think my work would really appreciate me walking around like, hi.
I've actually had an idea recently of something I want to do for the channel.
You know how I did my makeup one on my own before, it's going to be like a haul thing,
so like each month I'll do, so obviously starting with January, I'll do my January favourites.
It'll be like beauty stuff, makeup, clothes, shoes, candles, anything that I've sort of
got in the month that I sort of want to show you guys as my favourite things.
I'm going to start that on Wednesday I think on my day off.
It'd be quite nice doing something like that because I think we've got quite a lot of female
viewers as well that would quite like to see that, I hope, I don't know.
Tomorrow's our first day back to work after, oh no it's not mine, it's Georgie's first
day back to work.
But yeah, it's like a proper full week of work and I'm really dredging it because it's
been so nice having time off and just like not having any plans, not doing anything and
just literally just chilling every day and it's been so good.
But yeah, oh well.
I'm back.
I've got the laptop so I can actually edit this in a minute.
Right, the reason we were in Ikea today, you're probably wondering, we kind of have a tiny
bit of a mini announcement.
Yeah.
I'm not pregnant and we're not getting engaged.
No.
If you stop packing.
I still feel 15 so we're not doing that.
It is a mini announcement because, so basically my parents own this flat in Worthingtown and
we're going to move into it this year.
We've been together like over two, I keep pulling my hair.
Sorry.
We've been together like over two years now so.
It's like the next step.
And we both kind of want our own space a bit as well.
It'll be nice because we're always hopping between houses at the moment.
Like we'll spend a night in my house, spend a night at Georgia's house.
It's kind of a bit of a nightmare.
I went to uni for three years and I've been living back home for like a year now so I
kind of want to have my own space and it's good because we're going to have a big lounge
so we're going to be able to leave equipment set up so we can film some videos and stuff.
Yeah, it'll be good.
Yeah.
So there we go.
And that's why we're there.
We're just getting ideas.
We didn't actually buy anything.
We didn't buy anything at all.
We went all the way to Southampton like an hour and a half drive.
To do nothing.
We had to go to Chichester to buy this camera.
So we're going to end it there today.
We will see you again soon.
I hope you like this kind of like vlog style video.
We're going to do more of these now.
I like it.
Yeah, it's fun.
It hurts my arm but apart from that I do like it.
It's good fun.
And I need to stop looking at the top thing at myself and I need to look into the lens.
I know.
Look, you probably saw earlier in the mirror.
Armour boxes actually.
Look at that.
It's got this really cool flip up screen so you can do it like that.
Wow.
It's a mud something.
We're just going to finish up watching David Attenborough now.
So we will see you guys later.
We're going to...
You can do it on your own, George.
Cheers.
We've got a brand new main sit down video coming as well.
A funny challenge.
About New Year's.
About New Year's and resolutions and stuff like that.
So that will be good.
Give the video a big thumbs up if you liked it.
Yes.
Also in the new year our aim is to get to a thousand subscribers by Christmas again.
Was it a hundred or two hundred this year?
Two hundred.
Yes.
Two hundred this year.
So next Christmas we want to gain a few more.
So that will be...
We're on two hundred and...
Twenty four.
Twenty seven.
Yes.
Twenty seven.
We're up to a few.
At the moment.
So yes.
We've got seven hundred and fifty...
No.
Go on.
Mental maths.
Go on.
Seven hundred and seventy...
I've forgotten what we want.
Seventy three.
Yes.
That many to go which I think is quite doable in the year.
Hopefully.
Keep growing the channel.
Be good.
Find us on our Facebook page.
Yes.
And Twitter and Instagram.
All that kind of stuff.
And follow our personal accounts as well.
Yes.
Do that.
And our Snapchats.
My Snapchat is Lucy1237474900.
I don't know why it's so long.
It's like a telephone number.
Yes.
I think I was drunk when I made it.
Probably.
Right we'll see you guys later.
Bye.
