Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to something extraordinary.
My name is Eric and today this is it, what we're going to be showing.
The most ambitious, the most exclusive property that we have ever filmed.
This architectural masterpiece has been designed by Satoshi Kurosaki from Apollo
Architect. In five years of my luxury tour experience, I've never seen anything like this
before. We are currently in Nishazabu, which is the most redefined neighborhood where Ambassador
sips coffee next to Michelin star chefs. This house stands out. Notice the facade,
this dark gray stone tiles gives this fortress-like presence. It looks very quiet from
outside, but wait until you see what's inside. The architect designed the space that works both
as a private heaven and a relaxation and entertainment as well. Now let's begin our
journey. The moment you enter the house, you know you're entering a very different world.
Right from the entrance through this glass doors, you can see this entire ground floor,
which gives you this very powerful sense of arrival. You will see this beautiful garage.
Wait, that's not just a garage. That's an auto gallery where eight cars call this place a home.
This 150 square meters is the heaven for the car enthusiast. The architect used this new concept
called carchitecture, where car becomes the focal point of this entire house space. I love how this
looks and the flooring tiling and also the lightning makes this whole entire space really
focusing on your car pieces and enjoy this entire area. Typically, garage might be a little bit
dark, but in this house, at the end of the garage, you see this floor ceiling glass that's
behind it. This source of light coming in where you can combine both luxury sports cars and yet
have this beautiful nature greenery with its own sunlight. Now coming to the basement floor,
it feels like you're walking into a secret club, but it's all yours. The moment I step in,
there's something exciting about having the combination of this wellness, which is fitness
center, golf range, and also entertainment area. This actually has very good sunlight that is
coming from this terrace as well as greenery that actually allows you to feel like this is a very
nice retreat. This whole fitness gym would match any boutique fitness center that you might have
in Tokyo, but this is again going to be all just for you. Also, notice the ceiling light over here
in the basement floor. This lighting is actually perfect for working out. Now let's check out the
karaoke space. The moment you step in, you feel this acoustic design, which is very high sound
insulation in this area. And this is just not a regular karaoke. There's a luxury twist into this
whole space where it allows you to enjoy at the same time relax. At the end of the karaoke space,
we have a DJ booth where you can have your own DJ at home playing some jazz or hip-hop,
whatever you like. Now moving to the second floor. This is where the sleeping area is. In this school,
we have a two-bedroom study nook and a spa-like bus that I'd like to show you. And right on the
second floor, you'll see this beautiful library space behind me that looks like a nook with its
own balcony and nice plant. And every single part of the house, as you notice, has its own sunlight.
At the end of the hallway, this is the first bedroom that we're going to check out on this
floor. And this entire space is designed for a kid's room. To the right, you see this sleeping
area with a very nice bed and mattress, I can see. And in the middle of the bedroom, you have this
study desk that visually separates sleeping area from this beautiful closet. I cannot imagine that
this whole space is just for one person. The balcony space behind me is actually designed
so that the kid can study and yet have this view to the outside where you see greenery
and you have the sun and you're quite inspired and yet very focused. As I step out the door,
I feel this very fresh air. And looking above, you see this skyline, beautiful skyline above you.
You can see the third floor, you can see the first floor garden, and even all the way to the basement
floor. Now, this is the second bedroom, which is master's. To the left, you notice this very big
queen-size bed that is placed. And the first thing you can actually see that it's intentionally
minimalistic so that it allows you to relax, get this retreat, and then go to the other area of
this house. And also, the designer had a vision just to make sure that both bedrooms get equal
amount of sunlight and balcony space, which is quite important for the sleeping area. I can spend
hours here, honestly. It feels great to be in the stairs. But let's move on. And I'm about to show
you my favorite part of the second floor. Now, behind these doors, there is this whole massive
walking closet. Now, let's move to the powder room area right next to the walking closet. The moment
I look at this powder room area, the quality of the materials speak for itself. And the
first thing that we see is a double basin for yourself and for your partner. And this huge
mirror creates this visually more space that makes you feel very, very open style. This whole
bus stop is set the way that you have this very good natural sunlight coming in. This whole vision
gives you this spa-like experience, which very, very elevates this whole space. By the way,
one very important element, which I haven't mentioned throughout our tour, is this elevator,
which is quite important to save your knees. And we can use it anytime when you want to go up
and down. Now, let's move to the third floor of this beautiful house. Now, finally, this is the
part of the house I was dying to show you the most. That's where the magic happens and where design
truly elevates the experience. There is incredible flow of energy throughout this living,
dining, and kitchen area. And also right next to me, you see this glass wall that erases the
boundaries between indoor and outdoor area. You can see how Satoshi Kurosaki-san's truly genius
vision came to life. And now we're going to break down each detail one by one. The first element in
this house I want you to focus on is this wooden ceiling slot. It adds this warmth and sophistication
throughout this entire space. Not only it's very nicely designed, it's also very functional,
hiding this air-conditioning system beneath it. Now, the next piece I want you to look at
is this L-shaped low-profile modular sofa. It really attracts guests and makes you want to
spend a lot of time here. And this nicely marbled coffee table really adds a very nice touch to this
whole living area. Now, right next to me, you see this beautiful lamp made by Louis Vuitton, which
actually looks like an art piece on its own. Now, moving to the next part, this professional
sound system made by a very famous Bowers & Wilkins company. And this 100-inch TV mounted to the wall
is perfect for entertainment and makes you want to really spend a lot of time in this area.
Let's not forget about this last piece, which is a hanging chair pot. You notice these blue
shades throughout this entire house. That's where the owner's vision was to bring this tropical
vibe into this urban lifestyle. Now, let's move to the dining area. You notice this round glass
shape with a geometric base dining table. It is very beautiful and it also complements with nice
six orange leather chairs with black frame. And one interesting fact, this is also made by
Louis Vuitton. And you know this brand as very loud, but when it comes to home decor and furniture,
it is the new concept that is called quite luxury, that is quite noticeable.
And behind this dining area, you can also see this Bruxelles Soleil, which means
diagonal sunbreaker. This actually reduces the glare from the outside and it also blocks from
the direct sunlight. And this dynamic shadows throughout the day makes this space like it's
living on its own. Now, let's step into this kitchen area. The owner's idea was to visually
separate the dining living from this kitchen space, while at the same time not having actual
wall or door. First thing I want you to pay attention to is this nice two wine cellar fridge
that can welcome up to 200 bottles in total, which is quite necessary for wine lovers.
And right next to the wine cellar, you notice this door and behind it is double door fridge
by L'ivier. You wouldn't know until you open it. And I did mention many times before,
Kurosaki-san's vision is to remove the noise in the house and make sure that this whole design is
seamless and integrated. Continuing our kitchen house tour, you notice this nice marble countertop
by Molteni. Molteni and L'ivie don't are the two brands that have been often used throughout this
whole house. And along this kitchen, you also notice this IH gas stove and also grill,
which is minimalistic yet very, very functional as well. Corner of this kitchen, there's this door
which behind is pantry space. Today, I'll not be able to show you because, well, there's a lot of
personal stuff inside, but there is enough room and storage for your belongings. Now, finally,
this is the infinity pool. And you see this mosaic tiles that at the edges, it gives this mirror
effect and blends right into this tropical trees that actually adds this privacy to this whole
space, giving you a sense of security, yet also being a very nice element to this whole entire
area. At the end of the swimming pool, you see there is a marine inspired fabric,
weatherproof armchairs. Now, once you come out, boom, you have this entire space that feels like
your own sky lounge. And you have this beautiful Tokyo city skyscraper views, which is, you see,
Tokyo Midtown, Asabudai Hills, Amon Residence. And also, whether it's for morning coffee or evening
drinks, this space feels so great. Throughout this whole experience of filming luxury tours,
Michiyazawa House stands alone. This time, Kurosaki-san actually was able to create a whole
experience from this stunning garage that looks like an art, the well-being ground floor, this
whole terrace and living space with this sky terrace. Every floor speaks experience and luxury.
This isn't just our biggest project. It's a new standard in Tokyo home living. With over 600
square meters of living space, an elevator connecting all the floors and details that
challenges what's possible in home design, this property is beautiful. If you're looking something
