Before we enter into this sacred time of prayer together, I want to share from the depths of my heart about the one who has transformed my life completely. I love Jesus, not because of religious obligation or empty tradition, but because he first loved me when I was at my most unlovable. When the crushing weight of shame pressed down on my soul and the gnawing emptiness of feeling unwanted consumed me, he entered into those dark places I thought were beyond repair. There was a season in my life when the pain seemed unbearable, and my heart was shattered into so many pieces, I believed no one could ever put it back together. I carried wounds so deep I thought they defined me, mistakes so grave I was convinced they disqualified me from love. In my darkest moments, when I felt utterly worthless and beyond redemption, Jesus met me there, not with condemnation or rejection, but with a love so pure it defied all human understanding. He walked patiently with me through the valley of my brokenness, never rushing my healing, never minimizing my pain. Day by day, piece by piece, he showed me that his love wasn't based on my performance or perfection, it flowed from his very nature, unchanging, unconditional, unstoppable. When I finally surrendered all my fragments to him, I discovered something miraculous. In his hands, brokenness becomes beauty, ashes transform into glory. I loved Jesus because he saw value in me when I saw none in myself. His protection has surrounded me even when I was too blinded by pain to recognize it. There were moments I felt completely lost, drowning in waves of fear and uncertainty, yet looking back I can trace his sovereign hand guiding every step. When the accuser whispered his venomous lies, that I wasn't good enough, that my failures defined me, that I was unworthy of love, Jesus spoke a louder, truer word over my life, you are mine. His grace astounds me. When I had nothing to offer but my mess, he poured out mercy without measure. When I was too weak to stand, his strength carried me. When I tried to earn what could only be received as a gift, he reminded me that love isn't a transaction but a free-flowing river from his heart to mine. I love Jesus because he's the shepherd who never stops searching for his lost sheep. When I wandered in wilderness places, convinced I was too far gone, he pursued me with relentless love. The cross stands as eternal proof that he considered me worth dying for, not because of anything I did but because of who he is. In him I found salvation that rescues, safety that protects, and satisfaction that fulfills my deepest longings. Now, let us come before this loving savior together. Lord Jesus, I thank you for loving me even in my moments of deepest unworthiness and confusion. When I felt lost and undeserving of love, you looked beyond my failures, my shame, and my brokenness, choosing to love me without condition. Your love is beyond my understanding, steadfast, unwavering, and relentless. It never abandons me, never grows weary, and never turns away. I am humbled by the depth of your compassion, a love so vast that it covers every part of my life. I am grateful for your constant protection and healing in my life. So many times, you have fought for me in ways I may never fully know, shielding me from harm, steering me away from unseen dangers, and lifting me when I was on the verge of falling. Even when I was unaware, your hand was upon me, guiding and guarding my steps. In times of uncertainty, when decisions feel overwhelming, you bring clarity and direction. You provide for me in every way, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Replace these things with a hunger for more of you, a thirst for your word, and a deeper longing to grow in intimacy with you. Let my life bear fruit that reflects your love, grace, and truth. When my mind drifts into doubt or negativity, steady me with your truth. When my heart trembles with fear, fill me with unshakable confidence in your promises. Show me each day where you want me to be and what you want me to do. Give me the courage to follow your path, even when it feels difficult or uncertain. Strengthen my trust in your vision for me, knowing that you are leading me toward a future filled with hope. Holy Spirit, I ask for your guidance and strength. Teach me to depend fully on you, to surrender my will to yours, and to believe that you are directing my steps.
