Holy Spirit, Teach Us The Grace Lifestyle | Apostle Leroy Thompson Sr.

yielding your life to the mysteries of grace. Not the history, the mystery of grace. There are many areas grace going to have to be open up to you by your personal relationship with God. Your next grace step will have to be given to you. Grace steps are not just lined up. It got to be intimacy with God and then God open something up to show you something you didn't see and be personally for you. A personal grace step. personal grace steps. He's just making a way for you. Hallelujah. [Music] Come on. Yes. I receive through theology. I receive. [Music] Father, we thank you so much for this midweek Bible training. We trust that the Holy Spirit will show us into these grace areas that we need to know about. Unfold your word to us tonight and be present in our midst. We thank you for it in Jesus' name. Amen. May be seated. Open your Bible to 1 Corinthian chapter 15. What we have there is apostles teaching the grace message. We have a group of apostles. As we read it, you're going to see it. And I want you to write something down at the beginning of this teaching. We're not studying history. We're studying mysteries. That's a vast difference. History is that you repeat behind what already has transpired. But mystery is fresh and new every day. As you be taught apostolic grace, new things going to start happening in your life in different ways. The history is what Daniel did, what Abraham did. But the mysteries is fresh and a new God still unfolding himself. See, God never been unfold. So he's constantly unfolding himself. And you may be in prayer, you may be in meditation and a fresh awareness of God may come out just to you. You have to see his vastness in order to operate in the grace lifestyle. So let's just see Holy Spirit teach us to live the grace lifestyle. because it got to constantly be open. Uh grace is synonymous with cross. When you talk about grace, you're talking about death, burial, resurrection, ascension, seated position, sending of the Holy Spirit, and the rapture. All that's included in grace. Grace paid for all that. And so what have happened in the church when you go to Ephesians 4:11-16 the 54 ministry gift uh the grace the grace has not been taught to the church as it should. We read here in 1 Corinthians 15 just uh moreover brother the first verse I declare the apostle Paul to the church at Corinth I declare to you the gospel which I preach unto you. You see that which you also which also you have received and wherein you stand preached received and stood in. Do you see that? It's no good if I just preach it. It's no good if you just receive it. You see, you see it. And wherein you stand. All right. But what also you'll save if you keep in memory what I preach unto you, unless you are believed in vain. You see that? What a what a part you have to play. Paul Paul said, "I can't do it myself. I can give it to you. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also receive. How that Christ died for our sins according to the scripture. He did. And that he was buried. He was. And that he rose again the third day according to the scripture. He did. Death, burial, and resurrection. The death, burial, and resurrection is the construction of grace. You don't hear a whole lot in the Old Testament about grace because it was a law. See, in the New Testament, we we're in a grace season. And and Satan don't want us to know that that he was the fourth verse saying that he was buried, that he rose again the third day according to the scripture. He sure did. that he was seen of Cifford, then of the 12. After that, him who was risen from the grave, he was seen about 500 brethren at once, of whom the greater part remained unto this present. But some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James. Then notice, of all the apostles, sir, all apostles lives that they seen him. And last of all, you seen of me also as the one born out of due time. Now notice verse nine because we're going to verse 10. For I am the least of the apostle that I'm not meet to be called an apostle because I persecuted the church of God. He did it. But then he get down to this 10th verse. And at some reason I can't get away from this 10th verse. But by the grace of God, I am what I am. Not by me being such a good student, but I got grace on me. Do you recognize you got grace on you? Once you accepted Christ as your personal savior, the grace of God came on your life, can hold you, restore you, bless you. He says, "For but by the grace of God, I am what I am. And his grace was bestowed upon me not was not in vain." In other words, I step into it. Other word, I live it. Other word, I let it uh reveal the mysteries of of Christ to me. But I labor more abundant than all. Yet not I. But you you notice he used the word grace three time in that book. Yet not I, but the grace of God was with me. Other words, all the things I've accomplished, I didn't do it myself. I was working in the atmosphere of grace. So, there are some things that I'm going to say to you that you're going to have to uh perfect in your life. Let grace continuously take place in your life. Other words, don't try to do it all yourself. Stay in his presence and listen and he'll tell you how to walk through it. Let grace continue taking place in your life. Let the effect of the cross, the effect of his death, the effect of his blood come every day on daily basis, not just on special occasion, but let grace flow. Let the grace flow. Now, he called himself more than one time the God of all grace. Uh-huh. Yes, sir. And then I asked a question, what it mean to stand in the true grace of God? There in first Peter Chapter 5. First Peter verse 8. Be sober. Be viligent because your adversary, the devil, as a roaring line, walks about seeking whom he may devour. Yes. Whom resists steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same affliction are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. Notice verse 10. Now, but the God of all grace, who has called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus after that you have suffered a while. He's going through something. After you have suffered a while, make you perfect. See, grace is powerful. Uh establish mean establish you, strengthen you, seller you. Other words, it's nothing that grace can't get you out. Grace is there to help you. Grace is supernatural. Are you Are you following me? Don't let Satan lock you down nowhere. I want to make this statement to you. Always knowing all the things must work out in your favor. Always knowing no matter what what it looked like, when it came, where it came from, if you handle it properly, if you listen to the Holy Spirit, it'll work out in your favor. And then I would ask this class yielding your life to the mysteries of grace. Not the history, the mystery of grace. Uh I would I would state a personal grace step. Write that down. Personal grace. Personal grace steps. That that he's he's he's just making a way for you. Hallelujah. unfolding the mysteries of grace to the people of God. That's what Paul was doing back in our other text as an apostle. That's what happened in Ephesians 4:11 through6. The golden text we took about calling the five four men to gift and what they for. They are job is to unfold the mysteries of grace to the people of God. And you see how Satan uh robbed that not the history of grace. having the manifestations plural of grace in your life. Now, wearing the grace anointing on purpose to God. Now, now to to clarify grace here, here here we go. uh Grace statement to us tonight is all the benefits of the cross belong to us. All the benefits of the cross belong to me. So therefore, Satan cannot jam you in a trap and tell you he got you. The only he got you is you let him got you. Yeah, I know what I'm saying. You let him got you, but he can't hold you in no spot because you're a child of God. Are Are you listening? Yes, sir. I really want you to hear this. Everything from God is already yours. And when I was writing notes, he says the cross is the face of grace. Other words, when you look at the cross, you're looking at grace. Faith always activates the power of cross grace. Quit trying to receive what is already yours. Lay hold on it. Clam it. Say it and shout it out. Is already yours. I don't care what it look like. When this remnant starts flowing in grace properly in the body of Christ, the world will begin to see God goodness flowing through you. There's a grace waiting on you. of the all all of the promises of God, all of the blessing of God, they're waiting as you permit the Holy Spirit to teach you to function in grace. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Remember, you have a divine partnership with the Holy Spirit. Yes, sir. You have a divine partnership with the Holy Spirit. I think the Holy Spirit know a little bit about grace. Y'all should have made more noise than that cuz he he he know all about it. Here's one, three words that I want you to always remember the rest of your life. No matter what you face, grace can't fail. You heard that? Grace cannot fail. Here. Here's a powerful backup for that revelation for you to walk in. The reason grace can't fail. Grace is already fulfilled. It's a done deal. Hallelujah. Grace supposed to bring you. Turn to uh Galatians 2 20 and 21. This is where grace should bring us. Galatians 2:20. Once once you begin to understand grace, this verse come alive to you. I'm crucified with Christ. Nevertheless, I live yet not I, but Christ liveth in me. What? And the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. Now notice what it say in the next verse. Now notice what he's saying. If you don't if you don't understand, I do not frustrate the grace of God to at large the church at large because of uh poor ppit inadequacy. Uhhuh. Without the apostle, without the prophet has has has uh reneig on grace and uh has ammon to do everything with scriptures. telling God how he should handle it. See, grace, grace, thank you, Holy Spirit. Grace put you in a healing position. Every person on the sound of my voice tonight, you getting in more of a yielding position than you ever been in your life, sir. And so when difficulties come, you're not going to hug them. Yes. When difficulties come, you're not putting your arm around them no more. Do you understand that? You're going to look at them and say, "No, you don't. It's still there." Next week, they're still there. No, you don't. The next week, it's still there. No, you don't. Next week, it's still there. No, you don't. I'm gone. You here by yourself. See that's that's what grace is talking about. See uh grace is already fulfilled. And the way to stop frustrating grace is stay crucified. I'm crucified with Christ. Nevertheless, I live yet not I but Christ lives in the life that I now live. I live by the faith of the son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. You got to live a faith life. You can't live a feeling life. Now, once Paul explained grace in Ephesians 1:3, look at that because you can understand better. Uh I found out that first both of those prayer, but that prayer he prayed in Ephesians is a a grace understanding prayer. It's it's a grace understanding prayer. We're going to go through it a little bit tonight is understanding grace. He's praying for the church at Ephesus to understand grace. The only way you cannot frustrate grace, you have to move out of history into mystery. You better expect God to show you something you never seen before. All right. Uh so then the third verse, blessed be God and father our lord Jesus Christ who have blessed us with all spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ. That's the cross. That's the grave. That's the resurrection. That's that's the uh ascension. That's Jesus sitting at the right hand. That's him sending the Holy Spirit back to take care of us. And he coming back himself to get us. Yes sir. But in in grace is already fulfilled. And how can I stop frustrating grace when you feel like a failure? You're a grace frustrator because grace mean no failure. Mistake but not failure. If you if you're willing to to to clear things up, grace will help you out. Can't play no game now because the Holy Spirit knows the game. So, so, so that verse three there, blessed be God and father, our Lord Jesus Christ, look what he says now. Who has who had blessed us with what? All all spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ actually is all blessing cuz if you got heavenly blessing always blessing you can move around like you want blessing be like a checker you just move it it's my move because you're anointed and you got Oh yeah we let me hear who we see you heard that sir So, so things on earth should move for us like a checkerboard. Come on, sir. And then what what good about it is I know it's always my move. Come on, sir. Y'all catch a hold of this stuff, man. I know it's my move. So, I just make my move cuz he bless us with all spiritual blessing. You see that? Just don't see all spiritual blessing as something in the air. He talking about everything belong to us. Wounded for my transgression, bruised for my iniquity, chastised my peace. With his stripe, I'm healed. All blessings belong to me. Now, now you cannot function in grace fleshly or sensical or uh scholarly. You you have to almost to to function with God, you have to almost be a fumble. You flow whatever way he want you to go. Quite your head. Oh, your head go hollow. What? You can't go by your head. You got to go by your heart. You got to know how much God love you and he he's not going to tell you nothing wrong and he's not going to leave you by yourself. All right. Now, this is a whole new lifestyle I'm talking about. Yes sir. Uh this is a apostolic grace coming on your life. That's why I read about all them apostles at the beginning. And so quite natural church members are really not going to understand you because you'll be functioning in the mysteries of grace, not in the history of the law. That's two different things. The history of the law. See, grace grace fulfilled the law. Yes, sir. All right. All right. Now, uh in his prayer, and I know Ephesians, go to Ephesians 1. in his prayer in the 15th verse in my study and meditation. This is a grace understanding prayer. Now he done said in the third verse, God have blessed us with all spiritual blessing in heaven and place in Christ Jesus. Right. Yes, sir. And now to take those people there, there are certain things they going to have to know and the Holy Spirit going to have to give it to them or they going to go back in the same tracks that they've been traveling not knowing they've been set free into a brand new arena just up in here tonight when them two boys were talking to you did a good job. Yes, sir. To put you in position for to hear this tonight. Yes, sir. What? What? And you you you in you're being placed in a new dominion of grace. And so this prayer apostle said in 15 vers wherefore Ephesians 1:15 wherefore I also after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and love unto all the saint. You got that cease not to give thanks for you making mention of you in my prayer. So this is a apostolic grace prayer. Apostolic grace prayer. Wait a minute. I put the little sheet in my pocket. An apostle structure heaven to earth government which open the porters of the supernatural so all those connected can enter in and benefit. That's right. Right. You heard that? Yes, sir. Now, all the years I've read this, prayed this prayer and read this scripture, I didn't see it, but the Holy Spirit says the Apostle Paul is praying uh a grace understanding prayer. Yes. It was fresh to the just like it's fresh here in Daryl at Wood Life Queen Center. It was fresh for these people in Ephesians uh in Ephesus because the apostle was giving them revelation. Yes, sir. That they can reach another dimension in their lives. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Are you are you here? You listening sir. You have you have no regular place to look to after the night. Right. Wow. Nothing regular in your life. Nothing. Grace has grace has no regularity. Grace Grace is not a regular grace. Grace resurrect. The apostle praying the 16th verse. You see say I see not thankful give thanks for you making mention of you my prayer. Now here you go to pray in the 17th verse that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ the father of glory yes may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation sir in the knowledge of him three things wisdom revelation and knowledge fresh wisdom on grace fresh revelation yes sir on grace fresh knowledge yesir Yes, sir. On grace been we've been held back by not knowing these things. All right. So, you pray uh for the functioning grace. Verse 18, the eyes of your understanding be in light. You see it? Yes, sir. That you may know what is the hope of his calling and what's the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saint. rich calling, rich inheritance. But you got to have a revelation. If you never heard this, if you never com uh combine this with grace, because you're back at the third verse, blessed be God and father of Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us, who passed in with all spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. So, so you're already blessed with all blessing. When he say spiritual blessing, that couple all blessing. If you spiritually blessed, you can have the rest of it. And I I could see Paul uh preaching from Revelation. Yes. And he want them to be able to catch a hold of it. Mhm. Uh uh 18 verse said out of your understanding being enlightened sir about grace that you may know what is the hope of his calling and what's the riches or glory of his of his inheritance in the saints and goes on and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us what who believe according to the working of his mighty power but you see that's the cross that's A mighty power. You see which you wrought in Christ. That is right there. 20. When it happened, which you wrought in Christ. When it happened, when he raised him from the dead. When it happened and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places. Look. Look. Now, here go your enemy. Here go that problem you're dealing with. For above all principality, grace, power, and might. grace and dominion. Yeah. And every name that is named, not only in this world, but also that which is to come. My goodness. And has put all things. You listening? Under your feet. Whatever under Jesus feet is under my feet. I'll walk where Jesus walked. [Music] The step of a good man is ordered by the Lord and he delighted in his way. I'm walking with Jesus me. Huh? So they put all things under his feet. Finally, whatever it is, it going to get under my feet if if it's against me. And give him to be the head to all things of the church, which is his body, the fullness of him that filth all and all. Just just pray that prayer sometime. Letting the revelation of the cross open up grace to you. Become a maker of grace decrees. is that uh embracing grace in every situation that uh Job 22:21-28 uh let's see I got good many more things turning that Job 22 Joel 22:21 I think Leroy brought this out to me about he saidquaint not th I said with with him and be at peace. Thereby good shall come unto thee. You know that's a meditative voice. Yes sir. Acquaint acquaint not thyself with me. The only way you're going to be really acquainted with him is you're going to have to meditate so it seemed like to be a decreer you have to be a meditator because you can't just can't be saying stuff and don't know what you're saying. You're going to have to have an experience with the Holy Spirit to know uh by your faith and grace it got to happen. Oh, how much authority I'm finding out that you have or we have as Christians. We put too much authority on the pull pit and not enough authority in our hearts to recognize uh uh Leroy was talking to one of my members. She had been with me 40 or 50 years and uh she was having a few challenges. She said, "I ain't calling pastor. He ain't told me what to do." Oh, she's doing it. I I ain't call I ain't calling. I ain't call him. The man didn't explain the thing to me. I know what to do. And and and that's what you got to do. You got to catch a hold of it. You can't you can't be around like a little cry baby talking about how I'm going to make it. All these words you sitting under, get up and swing the sword, baby. You can't go by feeling. You can't go by facts. That's right. You got to go by faith. Thanks be to God. Give us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. You always got to remember, I got the victory. I got the victory. Your flesh might say something stupid, but when you catch the stoop, set him down. Shut up. Go to the next verse, the 22nd verse. Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart. You see, that's when you're meditating. That's what's happening. You getting You're getting ready. You're getting ready. Go to the next word. If thou return to the Almighty, thou shall be built up. Thou shalt put away iniquity from far from thy tabernacle. Oh my goodness. If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up. Thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacle. Go to the next one. Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of earth as the stone of the brook. Oh, you be blessed. Go ahead. Go ahead. Yet Almighty should be thy defense. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And thou shall be broke just like everybody else trying to make it cuz you're a true child of God and you're holy. You're holy broke. No, you're holy stupid. You don't supposed to be broke. Yet the Almighty shall be thy defense. Thou shall have plenty of silver. What that mean? Plenty. What? Plenty. I mean, you can say something. Plenty of silver, plenty of money, plenty of gold. Come on. Y'all ain't making enough noise. That's all right. Go ahead. Then then thou shall have delight in the Almighty, and shall lift up thy face unto God. Come on. One more thing. Good. Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him. We all pray. And he said, "Yeah, thee." And thou shalt pay thy vow. Go ahead. Y'all got enough people talk talking to y'all about money. Now, now see, and thou sh also decree a thing. Uh like God said, "Let there be light." You got the right to say, "Let that be so and so, whatever." And it got to come. But you got to have the faith behind it and the revelation and the understanding how much power you got in what you say. You get to the point. I got to watch what I say. It It'll It'll come to pass. I got to watch what I look at too much. It It show up in the yard. This is just It's just a Oh, man. or show up here at the church, it'll show up. Thou shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee, and the light shall shine upon our way. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Grace land declares the war is over. The enemy is already defeated. Again, I repeat, grace is an exchange word for cross. They both mean the same thing. Are you listening? Yes, sir. Wearing your grace covering will change everything in your life. Wearing your grace covering, knowing that I'm covered by grace. I'm covered by the cross. I'm covered by the death, burial, the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. I'm covered. Every child of God ought to know that. Wearing your grace covering will change everything in your life. Now, I want y'all to be listening closely here. Grace will guide you, listen, into a just like Jesus lifestyle. [Music] That's the very thing would make you just like Jesus that you operate fully functioning in grace. Yes, sir. are just like Jesus lifestyle. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Grace is my base of victory. Pulling the plug out of grace and letting it flow. Lord, shower me with fresh grace. Y now you you can understand this uh grace must flow out of my spirit, my soul, and my senses. That's Romans 12 1-3. Grace must flow because I can give faith something to work with. Faith can't work without grace. Matter of fact, I wrote a note here. Finding a grace answer in every situation. Have you checked with grace about that thing? Grace is not a feeling. It's a faith flowing power. Grace is not a feeling. It is a faith flowing power. Y'all hear me online? Y'all hearing me? All right, I see you. It's It's a faith flowing power. Listen, somebody need to hear this. The voice of grace is calling you now to stand in your rightful place. Yes, sir. Let's get out of racism through gracism. Yes. Now, I'm going make this statement. I've talked about it earlier. Grace displacement is the major problem of the church. Uhhuh. Satan pulled that. You put put limit on grace and grace has no limit. Grace, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ has no limit. knowing, understanding, and always applying the principles of grace. Let's give you the scripture. You can go to it. I think we're ready. 1 Peter 5:8-12. Again, living in the grace of the cross daily. back to Galatians 2:20 and 21. And I wrote this note. I want to say it out in front of you. Lord, unfold the mystery of grace to this congregation. Now, every person under the sound of my voice, let them step into a new dimension of life by the revelation from the Holy Spirit of the grace lifestyle living in the grace of the cross. Unfold the mystery of grace to this congregation. Now you see what we must know grace is the result of the new covenant is the meaning of the cross and resurrection. So without emphasizing apostolic grace, actually the pastor, the teacher, an evangelist and even prophet cannot teach grace without that apostolic on their life. Correct. Correct. The fullness of it. That what Paul was saying. You see, all these years I didn't teach it. I said something about grace, but I ain't no grave this powerful. When the other anointing came, I began to see how how powerful grace really is. Cuz grace is the result of the new covenant covenant. The meaning of the cross and resurrection is the meaning of the cross, the resurrection, the rapture, the seating position. I'm saying it again. Sending of the Holy Spirit, rapture to come. Now class I want to make this statement at the end here. Histories cannot take the place of mystery. Say the Lord. You're going to have to let me unfold things to you. Stop going back talking about Paul, Peter, and John. Yes, it happened to them. Yes, I got them there for evidence. But what happening to you? What about your line then? What about your Goliath? What about your Red Sea? Huh? What about your fiery fun? How how you going to deal with that? See those things historically was told told to us and they actually happen to let us know what God can do. But then we get over in grace the mysteries that unfold to us that when things come in our life it might not be a line then but it's just like a lion then. We know how to deal with it. God give me grace. God give me grace. More grace. More grace every day. You You don't have to be calling 90 people if you uh if you pay attention. All right, Leroy, you can come on.
