So, for the past two years, I've been
riding nothing but paddle boards. And
yesterday, I sent a message to Deville.
And in that message, I let him know that
uh I will no longer be riding paddle
boards. Um so, a lot of my decision came
because, bro, I'm 32. I'm going to be 33
um in a couple weeks. So,
I don't know how to describe this. I
know a lot of uh older people are going
to say you're young, but I just feel
like
where I stood inside the team, which I
wasn't a part of the team and rightfully
so. I I did not show up every session. I
wasn't um really contributing as much as
I wish I could have or I I don't know
how well these things play. So, um, it's
just a lot of thinking that I'm doing
right now as I'm trying to describe
this. So, I'm going to probably be all
over the place, scattered around trying
to, uh, put all this together. But my
reasoning is I just didn't feel like
there was going to be a future for me
for
um, riding pow boards in terms of like
uh, just being flow two years. Um, I
don't I I never really uh had a
conversation maybe about like what my
future looks like within the brand. And
I'm very much a person that wants to
just do things. I want to be active. I
want to be like uh I want to know what's
happening. And I know that Pal's working
on a video right now. Uh so I definitely
wasn't filming for a video. I've like
been doing my own thing. Uh so that
doesn't help at all. Um, I'm basically
here to let you know that just I let I
sent a message and just I I just kept it
real with myself. Um, I do have goals
like I I I want to get a pro board for
uh a board company whether it was POW or
any other skateboard company. So, just
within my goals, I didn't see that
happening with PAL. So I want to kept
like kept I want to keep it as real with
myself as much as the brand and before I
like skate with them for another one
year, another two years and then it's
like I've been on like flow for 5 years.
I just didn't want to feel like defeated
and like I'm just
re like just accepting like yo it's
probably not going to happen. uh we got
to make uh new decisions and I gotta
just think what's next. So basically,
yeah. Um what's next? We're going to
find out. Um should we make a sponsor
me? Probably. Um so I'm just as confused
on my journey moving forward as much as
you're watching this video trying to
understand what I'm even saying. But I
will say, dude, Powell is so [ __ ]
sick. Like, dude, the whole team is
dope. Uh the the boards are so sick.
Like, imagine getting a flight deck as
your pro board. That would have been
dope. But I guess what you can see from
this is like
I couldn't do it, so I quit. And it
sucks to see it that way that I quit on
one of my goals. And I'm not really a
big fan of quitting. So,
it's just one of those that I I
Damn. It's just one of those goals that
you just kind of have to accept. It's
like like imagine if your birthday is
February 29th and you only could
celebrate your birthday every so often.
It's like, dude, what are you like? Like
like uh that made no sense. But I just
thought about that. But yeah, a lot of
butts in here. Um we'll see where we
head, man. I just wanted to update
y'all. Uh, I've been doing a lot more
live streaming my sessions, and I'm
going to be live streaming a lot of my
tricks moving forward, like hard tricks
that I would film for video parts. I
recently landed uh the Varof Flip Primo
on a rail, and I'm going to be working
on a longer one, too. So, that's not the
final product. I just wanted to put it
out there because I just felt like I had
to uh after I'll just explain it all
later in another video. But yeah, thank
you everyone for watching. Um, and let's
see where we go. We don't know what's
happening. Um, should I just buy boards
and test them out and see what I like?
What's There's like a whole endless
world out there. So,
once again, thank you to Deville. Thank
you to PAL, everyone at PAL and the
team. Everyone there is amazing and
welcoming. Um, just let's get it.
Thank you everyone for watching and I'll
see you on the next video. Signing out.
