My life as a Catholic, the only direction I had was to go to San Libutan.
I was a driver from Mindanao. I was in Mindanao for a long time.
I moved here to Manila.
I was not with the spiritual people back then.
It was really a direct life as a Catholic.
One time, I went to Tondo because I have a relative there.
Is your sister there?
Yes, she's upstairs.
Brother, I would like to invite you to our church.
Can you come?
I was given an invitation to Born Again.
Out of respect for them, I went there.
I listened to the song. It was a beautiful song.
It was happy.
There was preaching.
There was a lot of preaching.
I started reading the Bible.
I convinced a friend of mine in Santa Mesa to study to become a pastor.
At Born Again, until now, there is a priest.
I was a member of that priesthood.
I believed that I would become a pastor.
When I became a pastor there, after the gathering,
he would count the sheep with me.
In the presence of the priest, I had a priest to share with me.
I believed that I would become a pastor there.
I told him,
I have enough money.
You can share it with me.
I shared it with them.
But before that happened,
I listened to Brad Ailey's song,
This is Manolo and His Genius Family.
At that time, before joining Born Again,
I was a Catholic.
I was a favorite of the Catholics.
But in the last question of Don Manolo,
because Brad Ailey was the last one,
I was more of a loser.
So I changed.
This person is right.
But what I didn't like about him,
when I joined Born Again,
was the word religion.
Because at Born Again, we were allergic to religion.
We couldn't save religion.
We accepted Christ.
So for a long time,
three years,
even if I didn't have a hard time,
where would I look for him?
One time,
I saw that the address was flashed.
In Emilia Street,
in Matpalanan, Makati.
The guests there were Sis Ruth,
Soriano,
and the second group was
Brad Daniel,
they were sharing,
and Kuya.
The third group was Brad Ailey.
I didn't know her face.
So I asked,
who is this?
When she started talking,
I said,
I heard this on the radio.
So I listened.
That was the third group.
After that,
my third group,
invited Brad Ailey to an open forum.
Outside of Bradman's house,
in Bacosa,
in Emilia.
We were there.
I think we were four different religions.
The three of us agreed.
But I was really against it.
I believed that it wasn't Jesus anymore.
It was Yeshua.
That's what it should be.
Because it's Hebrew.
Hebrew is the name.
Yeshua.
So Brad Ailey was really reading the Bible.
Of course,
because Brad Ailey,
I remember her name,
she was a religious Tagalog speaker.
So I didn't win.
When?
I was still listening.
Brad Ailey told me,
okay,
let's do this.
Surround the whole world.
Examine all religions.
But I guarantee you,
if you are looking for salvation,
you will fall here.
She said.
Now,
if you are a member here,
if you are with us,
if you see a teaching,
even if it's just one teaching,
it's wrong.
Get out.
Because you won't be saved.
I remember what Brad Ailey said.
I haven't forgotten it until now.
And when I became a member,
because actually,
I was the first two.
I thought I was already a member.
Until the third.
Brad,
you can't go yet
because you are not yet a member.
You need to have a doctrine.
No.
I love the doctrine.
But it's all in the Bible.
There is no teaching.
I accepted the doctrine.
Until I was baptized.
It was a big change.
Because since I became a member,
we were able to focus on spiritual things.
God made a big change in my life.
A big part of it was that my heart was touched
by spiritual things.
Here,
we are not neglected by our God.
Since the time of Brother Ailey,
I have not been neglected.
During his time,
now,
I went to the hospital several times.
He answered all of them.
I went to the ICU in the Premier Hospital.
Then, I was transferred to ACE Hospital in Baliwag.
It was a big expense.
Brother Ailey answered all of them.
That's why I felt very lucky.
Because if I didn't go to the right religion,
I would have hoped to be saved.
But it wasn't so.
It wasn't so.
There were so many.
We can't just ignore the goodness
that has changed in our lives.
God is the One who does it.
That's why, it is a great blessing to the brethren.
We, the brethren here in the Church,
that we are a part of,
it is a great blessing to us.
If in our religion,
we were hoping for salvation,
there is no hope if it is true.
Here, we can be sure.
Let us be true to the Lord God.
Let us follow His words.
Because what Brother Ailey preached,
let us be careful of the words He preached.
Let us follow that.
We can be sure that we will be saved.
The Bible says,
nothing is taught to us,
that we will do evil.
We will only do good.
Let us just do it.
Let us just follow.
God has mercy.
Let us be careful of salvation.
To Brother,
actually, I am a very shy person.
I have that.
First, thank God,
that you are not neglecting us, the brethren.
And thank the Lord,
that He is continuously explaining to you,
the words of the Lord,
so that we, the brethren,
can be a part of it,
by following all the teachings that are being taught.
Because,
at the time of Brother Ailey,
compared to now,
Brother Ailey taught all the teachings.
But at the time of Brother,
what is being taught is the fulfillment of the teachings.
So, thank God,
I hope that my brethren,
will be a part of the dream of many brethren,
to live a life without desires.
I am Brother Jerry Cabanero,
and this is the story of my faith,
a million thanks to God.
