Well, there is an exciting performance coming up at the plant next month because Stella's homecoming concert sisters
Ellie Lily and Powell welcome who make up because Stella's are joining us today
Thank y'all so much for joining me excited to have you here
So to start let's hear about your music. Tell us about it. Well, we're from this area. We're from Georgetown
Which is right next to you fall about an hour
North of here and we've been playing music for a little less than two years
Professionally together now and we got some new stuff that we're really excited about
and this concert particularly is going to be a fundraising concert for a bunch of new music that's potentially coming out and
Also, it's we're gonna be raising money for 4-h and agricultural scholarships
We grew up on a farm and the agricultural community and the wiregrass area is really important to us. That's great
So tell us about what it's like to perform with your sisters, you know, it's really special
We've been we've been doing this for a long time
Not professionally, but we grew up singing and playing in church leading worship
So the fact that we get to do this as a career is is amazing. It's incredible
We have the most fun time playing live shows and I look over at my two best friends in the world
And be like this is crazy that we get to do this for a living
And it tell me what you're looking forward to about this upcoming concert. Yeah, so
Obviously agriculture is a subject that's just near and dear to us
It means a lot to us and so we're excited to you know
play a show near our hometown and have a lot of familiar faces in the crowd and
It's for a good cause all the proceeds for this show go to help students who want a career in agriculture
And what other place to do that then doesn't Alabama the peanut capital of the world
So we're so excited if you're you know a senior and looking to pursue a career in agriculture
You know, this is this is for you with a scholarship is for you
so apply and
Yeah, but we're just we're super excited. Yeah a fun event for a great cause right? Absolutely. So how long have y'all been performing together?
not professionally since
We were about 14 Lily was 13 and then professionally we've lived this July will be our two years of living in Nashville
Which is kind of crazy because it kind of feels like we've lived there for 10 years
And it also kind of feels like we've lived there for two months last year was a whirlwind for us
We went on tour with a little big town sugar land. We did our own headlining tour. We played a bunch of cool festivals
We're going towards Thomas Rhett
In a month, so yeah, we have we have a pretty exciting year, but but we're super excited to be kicking
This is what we're most excited. This is probably yeah
Well, we're excited to tell us when and where it's gonna be again and how people can come and be involved
Yeah, yeah, so we're gonna be playing at the plant on May 30th, and you can get your tickets at the plants website
Great. Well, we are excited and before we wrap up here and before the concert coming up
We'd love to have a concert right here on news for
Yeah, so this song that we're gonna be playing is unreleased it's not out yet
but it's called freeway and it's our song that we wrote about the road and
we're playing it because
The day of the show will be the first time we're ever gonna play it with the band live
So this is a little taste of that ready. Yeah
Hey mama, I'm going on a nine o'clock
Athens Georgia at the 41
That's my name up on the marquee. Good to see you then. I'm gone like a tumbleweed
Rode up blue jeans greener grass
Guitar sound at the Marshall stack and I miss those glory days
Cuz I was born 40 years too late or maybe right on time
Way back never gonna see me again
Sweet like nothing whisper and away rolling down the river like a lost map dot-marked way
Playing with a band staying up till dawn don't know what you feel until you hear it in a song
What you can't buy is better than a pocket full of change
Living that freeway
We're all chasing something real turnpikes playing outside a mobile birdies working ag for the GCA
Nelly just bought herself a cheap Mustang and I still play bass play guitar tonight, but way back
Never gonna see me again
Sweet like nothing whisper in the wind rolling down the river like a lost map dot-marked way
Playing with a band staying up till dawn don't know what you feel until you hear it in a song
What you can't buy is better than a pocket full of change
They're not free
Way
Never gonna see me again sweet like nothing whisper in the wind rolling down the river like a lost map dot-marked way
Playing with a band staying up till dawn don't know what you feel until you hear it in a song
What you can't buy is better than a pocket full of change
Yeah, what you can't buy is better than a pocket full of change
To live in that freeway
