Novináři, kteří informovali pravdivě, byli cenzurováni a šikanováni, zatímco mediální domy, které protlačovaly falešné zprávy, za ně dokonce dostaly prestižní novinářská ocenění. Politici toho využívali k velkolepým prohlášením o zahraničních hrozbách a útocích na demokracii, přičemž šířili falešné informace, aby podkopali americké volby. A aby toho nebylo málo, na základě falešných informací bylo spuštěno vyšetřování FBI , které mělo napomoci k pokusu o odstranění úřadujícího prezidenta z funkce.
The media outlets were pushing fake news and even getting paid for it.
The journalists who were reporting the truth were being censored and harassed.
Politicians were using this to their advantage by proclaiming foreign threats and attacks on democracy,
while spreading fake news to undermine American elections.
And to make matters worse, politicized investigation using fake news
I'm talking about false claims that Trump secretly collaborated with Russia to undermine elections in 2016.
But now we know that the evidence in this case was only a deconstructed opposition investigation.
Now we know that many people were aware of the spread of this fake news and even lied,
so that it looked like the evidence existed, even though it didn't.
And now we know that the FBI started investigating on the basis of false assumptions.
That's right, on the basis of false assumptions.
We also saw how this was used to name a special investigator, Robert Miller,
to investigate then-president Donald Trump.
We saw how all this was used to interfere in the election and to plan the president's appointment.
In other words, what we witnessed was a coup d'état in the truest sense of the word,
or at least an attempt at a coup d'état.
Coup d'état is a French term for a coup d'état, for overthrowing the government from within.
It involves the suppression of one ruling party by another.
Look, I was among the first journalists to call this scandal a real name.
It started with an article in the Epoch Times in May 2017 titled
There was no evidence of Trump's association with the Russians on the basis of the accusation.
We dug deeper into the investigation that I and other people in the Epoch Times conducted
and which really revealed the whole story.
We also published several of today's famous infographics.
Its author was investigative journalist at the Epoch Times, Jeff Carlson,
and they described in detail how the scandal developed and who was involved.
And to be honest, because we did it and told the truth,
we were labeled a conspiracy to the QAnon channel.
We were censored by social networks and advertisers,
but everything we brought has since been proven to be true.
Establishment media houses, meanwhile, were doing the right thing.
The New York Times and the Washington Post,
for their investigation of Trump's alleged connection with the Russians,
even received a half-price.
The New York Times even wrote a statement in 2019,
and I personally think they should take it back.
They wrote,
We are proud of our report on the Russian interference in the elections in 2016,
which received a half-price.
Each New York Times article was cited as provably accurate.
Trump, meanwhile, called on the police to choose the price.
He wrote it in 2019 on Twitter, I quote,
It is so funny that the New York Times and the Washington Post
received a half-price for 100% negative and false reports about the collusion with the Russians.
There was no secret agreement.
So they were either deceived or corrupted.
In any case, the prices should be chosen.
And if you are interested in what the Democratic Congressman Adam Schiff said about all this,
one of those who planted a lot of these false narratives,
the editor of the Epoch Times asked him today and he said that they actually exist.
He claims that there is evidence of Trump's collusion with the Russians.
He actually told us that if you read Mr. Darem's article,
what he says is that there was no evidence of collusion before they started investigating,
and that is, of course, a very important difference.
So what actually happened?
I would like to show you, let's go for it.
Before Trump left office in 2020,
his then Minister of Justice William Barr
appointed a special investigator who was to investigate the Crossfire Hurricane.
Crossfire Hurricane was a cover name that the FBI gave to its secret investigation,
counterintelligence investigation,
and it dealt with alleged collusion between Russian representatives and co-workers of Donald Trump.
This led to espionage operations and false media attacks against Trump and his co-workers,
and even to the arrest of people who were close to him,
such as former Trump and Trump's campaign Paul Manfort.
It all started when Trump first ran for president,
and it continued after most of his term.
It undermined his campaign and undermined his ability to rule as president.
It turned out that the investigation of the Crossfire Hurricane was initiated with the use of a style note.
It turned out that it was a false opposition investigation of the Clinton campaign and by the DNC,
that is, the Democratic National Committee.
In other words, the false and counterintelligence opposition investigation was used as a weapon by the FBI
to deceive voters in the elections in 2016
and to blackmail the Trump administration with false, fabricated accusations.
And what happened next?
They used the FBI's underwater investigation to name Robert Miller, a special investigator,
in the years 2017 to 2019.
And also for an open attempt to call the ruling president out of office
and possibly charge him with a crime.
In most countries, if you saw this, for example in Latin America,
it would be considered an attempt at a coup d'état.
That's what you would call it.
And then Miller's underwater investigation was used to blackmail American voters in the next two elections,
first in the general elections of 2018,
where the Democrats won 41 seats in the Senate in contrast to the previous elections.
And again, what about when a party uses a strategy to push other parties into politics?
But back to what we were talking about,
they weren't even satisfied with the composition of Congress,
which provided them with the majority they needed to impeach Trump.
And of course they tried to impeach Trump.
In fact, he became the first president to be impeached twice.
Then came the elections in 2020.
Everything else, all the opportunities went to the parties.
And then came another narrative about Russian disinformation,
which was expanded by Biden's campaign and former leaders of the intelligence community,
to deceive American voters again and censor American press.
They came up with an undercover claim that Biden's Hunter notebook news looks like Russian disinformation.
And this crooked narrative was used to suppress legitimate news about these things.
The election survey even showed me that the news could overlap on the other hand enough votes to change the result of the election.
It brings us where we are now.
Especially the investigator John Darem has just published his report, which he had been preparing for four years.
A report on what happened.
And his conclusion?
The FBI initiated the investigation of the Crossfire Hurricane based on false assumptions.
Before the start of the case, they did not listen to the people who had anything to do with it.
It is written in the report, which has 316 pages.
It describes in detail the serious abuse of power, the serious deviation from the usual procedures.
In particular, it states that, I quote,
the intelligence community did not have any information available to confirm the hypothesis that the investigation of the Crossfire Hurricane was based on.
In other words, it was not substantiated.
It turns out that the FBI was willing to use entirely unverified and unconfirmed style messages to read requests for espionage of American citizens.
On this basis, they were spying on Americans.
It is also written there that they were not able to confirm any statement from a style note.
And for those who asked the question, are the style notes partly true or false, they were not able to confirm any statement from it.
It also turns out that the Clinton campaign financed and suppressed a large part of the evidence, including false, which the FBI simply partially accepted.
The list of problems in this case continues on and on.
Basically, he says the whole thing was false.
And of course, he does not recommend any charges.
So we'll see what changes if anything at all.
But whether it changes or not, the impact on public opinion can be great and there is still a real chance of responsibility being taken away.
President Trump reacted to it with a true social quote.
Wow.
After extensive investigation, the special investigator John Durham concluded that the FBI should never have initiated Trump-Russia investigation.
In other words, the American public was deceived, just as it is now deceived by those who do not want America to be great.
And the FBI in between?
Even though the public recognized the problems in the investigation, it seems that nothing else could change.
It states in a public statement, I quote,
The behavior in the years 2016 and 2017, which the special investigator Durham investigated, was the reason why the current leadership of the FBI introduced dozens of legal measures, which it has been paying for some time.
But it works.
If it's about the FBI, we are witnesses to constant problems, and even recently.
This is one of the reasons why Republicans in the House of Representatives are investigating the FBI and blaming the administration for abusing power.
It can be expected that it will play a big role in the elections in 2024, especially when many Republican candidates call for either a reform or even a complete abolition of the FBI.
And again, it comes back to a very clear problem that no one wants to talk about.
It wasn't just about some broken investigation.
It was about a political scandal, about a collusion between a political campaign, a political party, a legal community, media and large technological companies.
And all of them worked hand in hand to undermine the elections, initiate political abuse of power and try to get rid of the president-elect, if it happened in any other country, we have a name for it.
A coup d'état.
