For the next 2 months we have unlimited global Eurail passes (Interrail for EU residents) so we are going to get the most out of these wonderful passes. After an ....eventful.... flight on Ryan Air we begin our journey in Dublin with our first stop in the stunning and lovely (and freezing cold) city of Galway.

Getting ready to hop on the train to
head south and then we are going to
Dublin, Ireland for our next adventures.
We got URL passes. With an inter rail
pass, you can travel by train through 33
European countries with just one pass.
Inter rail passes are exclusively for
European residents. If you live outside
of Europe, the U rail pass is for you.
We're going to go all over Europe as
much as we can explore in two months.
Where do we go from? Where do we go from
here? But before we hopped the plane to
Dublin, we got to catch up with these
two legends in Portugal. If you know
him, you'll know what a great time we
had. Euro Extravaganza begins with our
first flight on Ryionaire, which in
keeping with their apparently
well-earned reputation is already an
hour delayed. Eventually, we'll be in
Dublin. Many, many minutes later.
Definitely a good thing we booked a
priority with the extra bag and the
boarding because space is all full.
Yeah. And we're the first ones here. The
boarding process is a disaster.

Welcome to
So if you heard any good things about
Ryan Air, just go ahead and forget them.
That airline sucks. If you spend 20
bucks on a flight, you overpay. Yeah, we
won't be doing that again unless we
absolutely have to. And then they drop
us off way out on the tarmac. No
transport, no cover, nothing. Just like
there you go, people slipping down the
stairs. I have uh one of those for Ryan
Air. On the plus note, welcome to
Dublin. Yep. It's going to be an awesome
trip.
Well, it's really wet. We have to wait
here for an hour and then wa
police are busy. We have to wait here
for an hour, then take a 2-hour bus ride
uh down to where we're seeing our
friend. But we're here so late, we're
not probably going to get to do much.
But we'll get to see him, so that'll be
all right. It's already late as hell. So
anyways, um we're going to sit here and
freeze for a bit and then uh once we see
Hugh, it'll be awesome. So yeah, we'll
only be left with 2 hours.
I keep asking myself, why do you still
hurt?
Why do you still hurt?
Well, Ireland's pretty, but it sure
isn't starting out very good. The bus
that we're supposed to take to meet my
friend who lives here, the bus driver
refused to take us to that last stop, so
he dropped us out here on the road in
the rain.
Ireland's not doing so good for us so
far. We're having a good time, but
we got the first good thing in Ireland.
We got Hugh and we got Dizzy. You got
Dizzy. Dizzy.
Oh, Dizzy is adorable. Now we're going
around and then I'll take Yeah, we're
going around Wikllo. I'll take you the
Greystones up the This is Greystones
harbor. 5 6 a.m. You'd have to swim up
here.
No darkness can keep us from getting out
here and exploring. By God, we are doing
300 countries in 30 days. Okay. Maybe 60
countries in 60 days. Something like
that. Really? Yes. Pizza. This is
supposed to be the best pizza in Wicklo.
We are soon to find out.
I got a pizza. Pizza time. After a
lovely night of pizza and hanging out at
Hugh's beautiful place, he's taking us
to Sulu and Neily where they have an ice
cream shop and a bar. But it's like 7 in
the morning. We don't want either of
those. He's going to work. We're going
to Gway. Well, we're going to the train
station. Oh, yeah. And we still got
Dizzy back there, who I was mistakenly
calling Mercy, but you know, whatever.
Coming through Ashford on the way to
that train station. Bandits. Some Irish
bandits. We're on the lookout for Irish
bandits.
I don't think we want to find any
bandits anywhere. Actually,
we're on the way to the train station
and we have a flat tire adventure.
So, they are fixing it and we are
sitting here. That's not good. They're
both on their cell phones after trying
to fix it. Now, we're putting the bags
all back in.
[Music]
Morning. Our rail journey begins. It was
so awesome to stay with you. I actually
thought the the changing the tire was
the highlight of the morning. It had us.
We got a story. It was so much fun. We
couldn't get it off. It just needed a
couple good kicks. We're headed up to
Dublin. We got to transfer stations up
there. That'll be fun. And then we're
off to Gway. The journey's The journey's
underway. Let's head out. Where you
going? Where you going? Wait. You're
running away. Oh. Oh. Well,
[Music]
Aside from the bus driver, absolutely
everybody that we've met so far has been
amazing and helpful. Very true. And to
be fair, that bus driver wasn't from
here. I grew up in Dublin. I love
Dublin. Now we've got to grab the Lewis
train over to Houston station cuz we
came into Connelly and that's where we
grab our next train. Getting tickets for
Louiswis is super easy. Machine even
takes Apple Pay. So, boom. There we go.
Thank you. You're welcome. Take your
tickets and your receipt. Even the
machine is nice. Literally everybody,
super friendly and helpful. It's
wonderful.
[Music]
Houston station is beautiful
and so are you. Now we got to find a
ticket window. There's our tray. We're
just waiting for a platform.
There's every service you could need at
the station. Bathroom free water fill
up. Tons of food. Although thanks to
Hugh, he had breakfast with us. Katie's
over there playing with fire. She's
looking at donuts and toasties. Uh-oh.
Captured on camera.
I have to check prices.
Is that what we call it? Yeah. We
updated our booking time on the URA app.
Said it was updated. So, we go back
through the system and get seats again.
So, we got stuck with non-allocated
seats. Thankfully, we found seats. That
was learning curve straight up here.
That was interesting. There's Yeah,
there curves up.
But heading the way.
[Music]
Just got to Gway. It is clearly
a cool touristy little town. Probably
way too windy to hear me, but our hotel
is just right across the street from the
train station.
right up there. Yeah, it's windy here.
Yes, that is a wool cap on Katie's head.
And mine and the street continues. Whoa,
people. Let's get out of their way.
Literally everybody in Ireland except
for that bus driver is super nice and
healthy. All of them. Everybody.
Beautiful view out of the room of trees
and some privacy. Room's dark, but you
can tell it's nice. Memory foam bed and
my beautiful wife looking out the other
window over there. How you? Yeah. What
do you got planned for us, Kate? Now
that we're in Gway, I need a jacket. I'm
freezing my ass off. And we haven't even
gotten to the cold countries yet. I
think Ireland is one of the cold
countries. Norway.
[Music]
He's like the only one out here wearing
a hat. Crazy. Why you got your hat on?
Is that it?
[Music]
We've just been wandering around Gowway
a little bit looking to find some
looking for a coat for Kate. But this is
supposed to be kind of like the center
of Irish culture. The streets around
here are exactly what you would expect.
It's adorable. It is. The whole place is
just adorable. We're only staying a
night, so we got to fit in all we can.
Wow. Gow is definitely a good place to
come.
Druid Lane. Do you feel druidy
[Music]
from the 13th century? This is something
that's so awesome about just walking
around like we're doing is you just come
across stuff like this. We're out
looking for coats and find 13th century
ruins.
I was cold.
€22.
It keeps you warm up to my neck and my
butt's warm. Your butt's warm. We'll
soon find out if Norway is We'll soon
find out, will we?
Got the vest. Now it's nice.
Goway's oldest church. Travel back to
medieval Goway. I like it. It's pretty,
that's for sure.
That 1320
$3.
Oh well, we don't pay to go into places.
Otherwise, we've broken a week doing
this.
Love that we're staying right here in
the Latin Quarter. It is just happening.
[Music]
Don't fall in there.
Goodness.
Right on out to the ocean.
[Music]
Heat. Heat.
[Music]
Heat. Hey, Heat.
The churches in Ireland, I think, are
the most beautiful in the world. We've
seen about 400 churches so far, and not
a single one of them has been slouchy.
it. They're all really beautiful. The
steak glass is incredible.
[Music]
Another beautiful Irish day. Even though
it's raining, it's still beautiful.
Absolutely amazing little town. Goway.
Would love to come back here and spend
some more time. Preferably when the
weather's better, but I don't think it
happens all that often. Headed up to the
train for our next stop, which we'll
talk about later. Beautiful little town.
Adorable. I would definitely come back.
Camera's over here. I am looking right
at it. This is the middle. This is the
camera.
He's starting out good. We actually got
the seats we reserved. Yay.
I think we're sitting backwards again,
but that's all right. Yeah.
Trains are pretty nice. Got a bathroom.
Seats are comfortable. Got no complaints
at all. That is the way to travel. Way
more comfortable.
Very well.
[Music]
[Applause]
First trip down. Now we're transferring
over to Connelly station from Houston.
And we actually have a tiny little bit
of sun. It's so cold. It's freezing.
Oh, close up on you.
The service to Belfast is still
undergoing track construction. So, we're
in a little waiting room right now.
We'll take a train the first like 2
hours just over the border. We'll move
on to a bus at New Ring and continue on
to Belfast. They got a nice little
waiting room here for us. That's nice.
And the train is there.
All these have tables. These are even
more comfortable than the wood air.
[Music]
[Applause]

bus
like an hour or so.
[Music]
Leave the thumbs up and subscribe. Oh,
no. That was good. That was good. That
was good.
