Hello Flight Curious, this is Emanuel and I'm translating from Sangam Origami.
And today I'm bringing you an amazing plane that everyone has asked for.
The Eagle plane from the movie Paper Planes.
Are you ready?
Wow, such an incredible paper plane we'll learn to make today.
It's an amazing paper plane and it's also amazing how it flies.
It's so incredible, I have a challenge I want you to help me solve.
So that you can participate in the creation of this amazing paper plane.
So remember to subscribe and click on the little bell.
So that when you want to watch this tutorial again you are able to find it much easier.
Well, let's do it. Before continuing with this plane, make sure to click on the subscribe button and click on the little bell to activate notifications.
Now you will be one of the first Flight Curious to watch our videos.
Well, the first thing we need is a letter size sheet of paper.
Let's fold it in half and after this let's make a triangle to the middle line.
After making this triangle, we'll flip it over, fold the triangle upwards and align it to the middle.
Remember, we made a video series of paper planes from the movie Paper Planes.
Click on the upper right corner to watch the videos.
Well, then just grab the page like this.
And we want to fold horizontally, bringing the paper down.
Aligned with these two corners.
Aligned to the center, aligned to these sides.
Very well, can you see?
Now we are going to fold this to the middle.
Remember, Emmanuel made a video with Sergio Hidalgo about the 5 tips to make your paper plane fly a lot.
Click on the cards if you want to see it.
Because it's going to be really useful for this paper plane.
Now let's fold here, like this.
Then take a look to where my thumb is present and we'll bring the tip upwards to that position.
Remember to follow this channel on Facebook and comment or message.
I do my best to answer your messages the fastest I can.
Let's press here, very good.
After this, we'll put our finger over here, on the same place where the tip will be.
And from this edge, we'll fold in a straight line.
Like this.
And the same with the other side.
Take this edge and fold without lifting your thumb.
Just like this.
It should look edgy.
Take a look.
This is how it looks. Are you with me?
Let's fold and you know you did it well when the paper below is not visible and it fits perfectly with the one on top.
Well, remember to subscribe and click on the bell because I want you to participate in the creation of this paper plane.
You'll also find this tutorial and channel easier once you're subscribed and click on the bell.
Also, remember I'm going to make a more advanced model of this paper plane.
This is the first model.
Next, I'm going to mark the corner here.
And this one because we're going to make a line that crosses this path through the middle.
Watch this step carefully.
Pause and come back so that it's easier for you.
So, when you hold the plane like this, you can see this edge over here, right?
If I move my finger under the paper, the paper will move.
The idea is to fold straight from here to here.
Let's do it.
Like this.
Here is a crease. I want you to make it match.
I'm going to draw the line so that you can see it.
And we'll match it with the corner.
That way we'll know it's straight.
Then, let's fold it this way.
Look, then we'll lift this upwards.
How do you know that it's going well? Because this is straight.
This line is pointing up and this line here is pointing up.
In parallel to that one below.
Very well.
We're doing great!
Then, we'll lift this little triangle we had kind of hidden below.
And then, here is a crease.
And we align it exactly with this one here.
We align it as much as we can.
And then we start pressing down.
Softly.
Waiting for the paper to bend so it doesn't break.
Very well.
After this, now we are lined up.
Look.
This one aligned to this other one.
So now we can press down with confidence.
Are you with me?
Then, when we flip over, we'll be able to see the wing on the back.
In a pocket back here, ok?
The more inwards this part is, the more pointed our wing will be.
Very well.
After this, we'll do the same procedure on the other side.
Let's do it!
If you're not too sure, you can go back to see what I'm doing.
Well, this is what I do.
Remember, the first step is to move this corner from here.
I'm going to fold.
Like this.
I move over here with my finger so that this crease...
This crease right here can be aligned.
Straight with this other crease.
Notice how the crease is aligned with the one underneath.
I make the little triangle and bring it upwards.
Very good! Excellent!
Let's bring this forward a bit.
I'll press over here.
And remember, I did this step 4, 5 or 6 times before I could make it right.
Be patient. Pay a lot of attention and you will conquer.
Now, do you see this line here?
The goal is to align it with the crease over here.
So I align these two.
And now...
I have the tail of the eagle plane.
Ok?
We just finished the most difficult part.
If you've made it so far, congratulations!
Flight curious!
Remember to subscribe and click on the bell.
This way you'll be able to watch the next and most advanced model of the eagle plane from the movie Paper Planes.
You can be part of this improvement and participate in the creation of an even better version because I have a challenge for you.
So stay till the end.
Well, after this, let's fold here in half.
Here.
And here.
Especially this corner right here.
Very well!
We'll fold it again.
While pressing on these two places.
And we start to fold.
Very well!
We are on the right path to see how our eagle plane will look like, ok?
Remember to comment. You can post your comment right now.
I will be answering to your comments as soon as possible.
After this, we are going to unfold the first part and fold it again.
So that it looks like this, ok?
So we can see a crease in here and the rest is folded.
I'll show you once more.
We just fold it twice.
Open and fold.
Now let's flip the page over.
We're going to rip the paper a little bit.
Right in the middle.
Very slowly.
I hope we can get rid of this step in the next version.
So remember to subscribe and click on the little bell.
Let's fold here.
Leaving the space for two fingers unfolded.
And we can now see the front of our plane.
Measure two fingers here as well and fold.
Very well!
We are on the right path.
If you want to accept the challenge of the creation of this paper plane.
Click on the links and you'll be able to find all the information.
Now let's flip the page.
And fold here in half.
Now it is really starting to look like the Eagle plane.
We can see the front of the plane.
You can probably notice already the tail is bigger and heavier than the front.
So the gravity center stays in the back.
And I'll explain more about this in detail later in the video.
After this, we make a little triangle here.
In other words, we fold inwards diagonally.
And do the same on the other side.
Perfect! Very good!
Now we fold the plane in half.
Make sure our wings are as parallel as possible.
And we fold here as well.
Let's fold this way.
We'll concentrate on this crease.
And make sure it is parallel to the one underneath.
This one right here.
Once we fold both wings, we'll make sure they match in length.
So that the plane is balanced when it flies.
So the wings are similar.
As similar as possible.
Very well! We're almost done.
If you've been watching the video until this point, let me know what you think about the plane so far.
Well, at this point, we just need to do the ailerons.
With the plane folded in half in the two finger space we had left before,
we will fold the end of the wing upwards.
And the same with the other wing.
The ailerons are now ready.
Their purpose is to give direction to our plane.
If you want to learn more about giving direction to your plane, click on the links right here.
We have now reached the final step for the amazing Eagle plane from the movie Paper Planes.
Isn't it incredible?
Well, let's try and fly it.
But before we do that, remember, I want you to be part of the creation of this plane.
So stay until the end.
Let's do the flight test!
As you can see, when you throw the plane, the plane falls and flips backwards.
If you want to learn how to solve this problem, click here on the link.
I will teach you a little trick to make it fly.
And I also have a special challenge for you.
The challenge of improving this version of the Eagle plane from the movie Paper Planes.
