Welcome to my channel, wish you a happy and joyful day.
Today, we will perform a method of propagating roses from
cuttings using a completely natural mixture, without using industrial growth stimulants.
Let's get started.
First is cinnamon powder.
Put one spoon of cinnamon powder in a clean glass jar.
Then add about 0.5 litres of warm water.
Stir well so that the cinnamon powder dissolves evenly and does not clump at the bottom of the
jar. Cinnamon powder has extremely strong antibacterial and antifungal properties.
Helps prevent cuttings from rotting, while stimulating the growth of young root tissue.
After stirring, cover the jar tightly and let the solution cool naturally for about one hour.
Choose a healthy rose branch with no signs of pests or diseases.
Use scissors to cut, keep a branch about 15 to 20 centimetres long.
Remove all the leaves on the branch to focus energy on the rooting and budding process.
Next, you need lemon. Cut the lemon in half.
Prepare a clean plastic cup and then pour in 0.5 litres of clean water.
Squeeze all the juice into a cup.
Lemon juice is mildly acidic, helps disinfect cuts on rose branches.
And balances pH, stimulates scar tissue at the base to quickly form roots.
Stir well to dissolve.
Soak rose branches in a cup of lemon juice for about 30 minutes.
Don't throw away the lemon peel. Cut the remaining lemon peel into small pieces,
put it in a clean plastic cup. Lemon peel contains many natural essential oils and flavonoids,
which have antibacterial and antifungal effects.
And help stimulate metabolism in the root tissue of the cuttings.
Then add about 0.5 litres of clean water.
Stir well and let stand for 30 minutes so that the essential oils and compounds from the lemon
peel soak into the water. After the cinnamon powder solution has cooled for one hour.
Stir well again, then filter through a thin cloth to remove the residue and retain the
the cinnamon solution. At this time, you also take the rose branch out of the lemon juice cup,
drain it lightly. Then mix all three solutions, cinnamon water, lemon juice and lemon peel water
together. Add clean water to dilute enough, get about 2 litres of homogeneous solution.
Prepare a clean plastic cup and treated coconut fibre.
Pour coconut fibre almost full into the cup, compact it to create stability.
Place the rose branch in the middle of the cup, use your hand to fix it firmly so that the root
does not shake. Pour the cinnamon powder, lemon mixture into the cup,
just enough to moisten the substrate, no need to submerge.
The combination of cinnamon powder and lemon not only kills bacteria,
prevents fungus and protects cuttings, but also stimulates the growth of new root tissue,
helping roots grow quickly, strong and not rot. Use a plastic bag or transparent plastic cup
to cover the mouth of the cup, creating a greenhouse effect to keep the humidity good.
Place the rose cup in a cool place with gentle light, avoid strong sunlight.
This is the ideal condition for roots and shoots to grow strongly.
After just seven days, you will see obvious changes in the rose branches.
New shoots have emerged, fresh, green, plump.
Many new roots are strong, white, healthy and growing strongly.
At this time, you can completely transfer the rose branches to a new pot
with a well-drained substrate such as river sand mixed with rice husks or loose soil,
so that the plant can continue to grow.
The method of propagating rose branches with cinnamon and lemon powder is a natural,
safe, chemical-free solution, but brings very high efficiency.
With just a few simple steps, you can successfully propagate healthy rose branches,
save costs and satisfy your passion for growing flowers at home.
Today, I will share with you a way to propagate rose branches naturally at home,
extremely effective and safe. Let's get started.
First, you prepare one ripe, fragrant orange.
Peel the orange peel, then cut it into small pieces so that the essential oil can easily be
released. Orange peel contains a lot of natural essential oils, vitamin C and organic acids such
as citric acid, which have the ability to fight bacteria, kill fungi and clean the surface of the
branch, while stimulating the cells in the cut part to quickly form new scar tissue and roots.
The essence of orange peel also creates a slightly acidic environment,
helping the branch absorb water and nutrients more easily.
Put all the orange peel in a clean glass jar. Pour 0.5 litres of boiling water into it and
cover it tightly. Let the mixture cool naturally for about two hours.
Choose a healthy rose branch with the colour you love.
Cut the branches short, keeping only about 15 to 20 centimetres in length.
Remove all the leaves on the branches to reduce evaporation and prevent mould.
After two hours, when the nutrients from the orange peel have been extracted into the water,
stow well and filter the clear solution.
Soak the rose branches in the orange peel solution just obtained for 30 minutes.
The next ingredient is rice.
Take two tablespoons of rice, put it in a clean plastic cup.
Add 0.5 litres of warm water, 30 minus 40 degrees Celsius.
Stow well and let stand for 30 minutes. Prepare a piece of sponge and a clean glass jar.
Cut a piece of foam to fit the mouth of the jar.
After 30 minutes, stir the rice water again, filter to get the clear water.
Rice contains many B vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates and trace minerals,
substances necessary for the root development process.
Take one spoon of honey, add to the filtered rice water.
Stow well to dissolve the honey completely.
Remove the rose branch from the orange peel solution.
Mix the orange peel solution with the rice honey solution.
Pour the solution mixture into a clean glass jar.
Punch a small hole in the middle, just the diameter of the flower branch.
Place the rose branch in the hole on the foam,
so that the base is submerged in the solution about three to four centimetres.
Fix the flower branch with a cable tie to keep the branch from shaking.
Use a plastic bag or clean plastic cup, cover the mouth of the jar to create a humid environment,
After only seven days, you will see the change.
New shoots appear clearly green, healthy.
New roots grow long, white and sturdy, proving that the branch has start to feed itself.
Honey is a very strong natural antibacterial substance,
helping to prevent infections and fungi in cuts.
In addition, honey also contains sugar and amino acids,
supporting the nourishment of young cells, helping roots grow faster and stronger.
After the roots are about three to five centimetres long,
you should replant the branch in a pot with good drainage.
A suitable substrate is treated coconut fibre or soil mixed with rice husks.
Ensure ventilation and enough moisture, helping the roots adapt quickly.
The method of propagating rose branches with a solution of orange peel,
rice, honey is a completely natural, safe method.
No need for chemical stimulants, but still brings great results.
With just a little patience and meticulousness, you can completely propagate roses at home,
creating your own colourful and fragrant garden.
