Eating Traditional Hong Kong Breakfast Set! 🇭🇰

Welcome to Hong Kong. It's 9 a.m. and it's time to go get some traditional breakfast here. I was having a little early walk today and I was stopping by in front of one shop and the lady was very friendly came to me and she spoke perfect English as well so yeah I think I'm gonna go to the shop now to have my breakfast because I still haven't tried the satay beef noodles breakfast set so yeah let's go and give it a go. I'm here at the I think this is some sort of market here. It looks like he's selling a lot of clothes and stuff on this side. The other side over there there's the wet market of I think it's North Point area over here and the shop that I'm going to is I think just around there somewhere so I have to cross this road over there and I'll be getting my breakfast. Today is like a slightly rainy rainy day here. The weather has been quite funny. I think there was like a typhoon just recently. I'm not sure if it's still now or what's the case with it honestly but yeah I think it was some sort of mild kind of typhoon. Well let's go and find our shop. But this shop is hiding somewhere over here but it seemed to be quite busy as well the shop and yeah and a friendly lady. She probably will be surprised to see me coming in with a camera because yeah she just saw me saw me before and I was I told to her that I will come back later. Is it this one? Yeah I think it's this one. Okay let's go. Hopefully I find the same lady. It's a big big round table for me. Oh yeah that's that lady over here. She will help me. Hello. Hi. Hello. Yeah I have the satay beef noodles set. Yeah one set. Beef noodles? Yes with a warm milk tea. Okay. Hot milk tea. And then egg? Sunny egg? Yeah. Yeah for set? Yeah for set. Yeah. Okay. How much is that? 7.40. I'm sorry. 37. 37 yeah. I have coins. Is it okay? I keep coins. Do I have to pay now or later? After pass. After pass and then cash. Cash. Okay. Can pay later? Pay later? Yeah later. Okay. Okay. Okay. Thank you. Okay nice. So easy right when when they speak English right like it makes so much easier. It's a tea. No sugar in here but nice tea though. Okay thank you. Oh that is the famous beef breakfast. Beef noodle breakfast with instant noodles. Yeah. Yeah if you have thank you. There was a little bit of that sauce under here so got my fingers all sauced up. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Pretty nice shop here. A lot of people here as well. The last breakfast I had also in the shop you could see over there were a lot of locals over there as well so that kind of shows you all the time that you know it's a good place. So if the locals are in there just you can go. It's good. That looks so strong. They must have a good good milk tea here but no sugar. I need my sugar guys. Let me put in the sugar first. Thank you. Thank you very much. Here we have the egg. Two eggs? No way. It's a pretty affordable set here. Only one thing I wish they had over here is the oh I think they have some sauces on other tables so let me let me see what they got. That's the pepper I think. What is that? Oh some oil. I have no idea what is that but I'll take the pepper. Let's give a little mix swirl to the tea. I love the cup as well. The metal the metal cup. That's so awesome and and it looks so strong. The color is just so like it's definitely not watered down you know what I mean. So strong though. Very nice. Traditional. Okay what should we start with? Egg? Maybe start with egg. Let's put that white pepper on the egg. How should I be eating that? Like separate or should I put the egg on top of that? It's quite difficult. Very nice bread. Very thick slice. This is a different style though because in the other shop I had they had like the bun but here is like kind of toast looking bread. More pepper. Now to the noodles. My first time trying the the sauteed beef noodles. I think those are the traditional ones because a lot of people mentioned me that instant noodle part which made me surprised in a way but I mean if that's that's if those are the right ones then this definitely has the instant noodles. The tea is still hot. Mix it all up so it's all mixed. The flavors are combined. It's a pretty big amount. It's gonna be a very big spoonful or mouthful. Okay first bite. Yeah definitely very yummy. I think that beef is nice. The flavor and the sauce covering it. I think I finally found the right one. If I compare that to the macaroni ham macaroni I don't even know which one is better. I do like macaronis as well. It's kind of hard to say which one is better. Which one do you prefer more? And also interesting is over here they give you tea as well right away. So this is like the free tea and this is one is like the milk tea that you pay for but so I guess the free tea is included. I think I found a pretty good local spot here. The price is quite cheap 37. Last time the other one I had was more expensive. It was a little bit more fancier place is all I would say. Finished with my noodles. There's some leftovers but it's so hard to fish them out. Love to have a durian again but I feel like if I keep eating durian every day it's kind of repetitive content right. I don't know if you guys would enjoy that so much but the other day I just had a durian and it was so yummy and it was so creamy and sweet. I was like maybe it's kind of good time right now that all the durian that comes in is like very very delicious. I think this one is also quite popular so thinking about giving this one a try. Maybe going for the original one. Hello. Yes. Which one do you recommend? Is the original chocolate chip? This is top one. Top one. Okay I'll have this one. Let's wait it. More food after I eat the breakfast. I don't know. I just kind of wanted to give it a try because I think it's quite popular and yeah I don't think it's too massive so I guess I can go for the super heavy breakfast today. It's not like I eat like this every day so it should be fine. That's how they cook them up over there. They put the dough inside and kind of press it together and yeah it's like a waffle machine. Okay thank you. That's a big one. Oh my god. That's a bit massive. Oh boy. Oh boy. I'll probably have to have a like good walk after all of that food. Mami pancake. It looks very nice. Everything is very very how to say very presentable right. Yeah really cool packaging and everything. I got it out. It's slightly warm. Maybe hot inside probably. Yeah very nice. Very sweet. A little bit of chocolate flavor coming through. Very interesting dessert. Very very delicious and sweet. Probably has too many calories for my breakfast already on top of my traditional Hong Kong set that I already had. Oh my god. But it's kind of very nice to eat it because you can just go each bubble is one bite so it's super nice to eat it in that way. Okay let's try to open one up. That's what you will find inside. Like soft dough kind of. Very nice. Definitely recommend it to try it out. I can see why it's popular because it's kind of kind of nice snack to just munch on. Grab a milk tea. Grab this one. Go by the water. Enjoy some views. This is the ferry port here. So we can take the ferry. I never actually looked inside here. But they also have like some fish market here. I think this fish might be very fresh here because it's next to the water. I think they've just just come like this. Probably fresh today coming in. Look at that. And you know what's crazy? Smells perfectly clean here. Doesn't smell like fishy at all. I think the fishy smell comes when maybe there is like when the fish is dead already or something. So yeah this is all alive here. Pretty much all alive. Straight from the sea. It's my first time exploring around here. And from here we can take the ferry to Kowloon city or Hong Kong. I need to do the ferry trip one time as well. I haven't yet. I haven't still taken it. Oh my god. Look at that. The fresh fish coming in. Hello. Wow. Look at that. Big fish. Hello. How are you? A lot of fish. Yeah. Wow. Nice. Look man. He's working so hard. I don't know if it's sweat or is it the fishes making him wet but I'm sure he works really hard here. And once again smells very clean here. So I know those are some sort of clams or I'm not sure what it maybe yeah some sort of some sort of shells. Fish is a big part of the yeah like in Hong Kong like a lot of local people. I think they eat a lot of seafood and it's I think it's extremely fresh here. It must be really good as well because you can see how they daily you know this kind of fresh fish coming in straight from the sea natural not from the farms I assume right. That's the top quality seafood you can get. So yeah eating seafood in Hong Kong is definitely it makes sense right because if you if you can get naturally grown seafood you know straight from the sea that's you know it doesn't get better than that. Oh look at that. Those are fishing boats and that's oh so the man comes in they are probably look at that the big fish. Wow massive fish look at that. They emptied their nets I assume and they bring the fresh fish here. This is a high quality seafood here. That's gonna be the end of the video now.
