Hi all! In this casual daily vlog, I'm sharing with you what I typically eat in a day. I love food and I've always been a believer in eating healthy most of the time and nourishing my body. This video is not meant to suggest anyone of being on a particular diet and this is just one day of an example of what I eat on a regular basis. Thank you so much for watching💓
Good morning guys, it's Tam.
It is very nice out, sunny and bright. I haven't done what I eat in a day type of a video in a long time.
I eat pretty light for breakfast. I've never been a very heavy breakfast eater.
I just mostly stick with
like a bottle of oatmeal, a bottle of cereal. I've been pretty healthy all my life and I'm really thankful for that.
I've never even gotten COVID so far anyway.
I am not vegan. I pretty much eat everything. I eat whatever I want.
Sometimes I give myself a break and I have sweets, cookies, a piece of cake, french fries.
This morning for breakfast is
just a bowl of oatmeal with blueberries. I eat blueberries almost every morning. I just buy them frozen.
So they're always fresh.
I can eat them year-round.
And I also eat a piece of fruit.
This morning it's an apple. I give a few slices to my dogs too. They love apples.
And I'm a big coffee drinker. So I love lots of coffee for breakfast. I get my coffee from Atra's Coffee Club.
Different coffee from
all over the world. One is coffee.
It's from Ecuador and I really love it. This coffee is dark, rich and chocolatey.
I also mix
these mushroom supplements
in my coffee every morning.
I pretty much do what I use called unintuitive eating. So
I eat whatever I want to eat at a particular moment or a particular day.
When you crave certain food, there is a reason for that.
Without being said, there are a couple of things I do not consume.
Cow's milk,
dairy products.
But today is a pretty mellow day for me. It's a casual vlog.
On Mondays and Tuesdays, today is Monday by the way, I normally film or plan for my next video.
When I'm here at the house,
by the way, I'm living in Arizona right now.
I just recently moved here because my partner, he's got a job. Since I eat almost all my meals here at the counter,
I got these
bar stools.
And let me tell you, these bar stools are super nice.
These bar stools are from
Art Leon, by the way.
I'll
put the link in the description.
On their website, they have a lot of
fashionable, stylish, affordable furniture for your kitchen, living room, and other
spaces in your home.
They look expensive, but they are actually super affordable.
Silver bar stools.
It's for leather.
We love the stitching.
It goes around 360 degrees.
The large chrome base is designed with a footrest and the rubber ring at the bottom of the base keeps the floor from scratching
and has a non-slip effect.
So these bar stools,
I just can adjust it.
All you have to do is push this up and it goes quite high.
Compatible with most counter heights. What I love about these bar stools are, oh yeah,
they are foldable and they come in a set of twos.
Really love how well made these are.
Very durable and sturdy. Also, I really love these seats
for leather.
They are easy to clean.
They look very nice and very comfortable.
Have the backs. I really enjoy having these bar stools here.
Today for lunch, I'm just gonna fix a sandwich.
I normally have a sandwich or a bowl of noodle soup for lunch.
When I have a bowl of noodle soup, I put spinach or other vegetables in it. Yeah, so I'm just gonna
put some chicken breast
on the slices of bread. I like eating open-faced sandwiches.
Some lettuce.
Cucumbers.
My current favorite bread is this. Plastic potato sourdough bread.
Goes very well with sandwiches.
Aside from eating healthy, I stay hydrated throughout the day.
Drink lots of water.
I am not big on supplements, but I do take collagen supplements
every day and I've been taking collagen supplements from
Tote.
Really good quality collagen supplements.
Not all collagen supplements are created equal.
I stick to marine collagen.
Tao makes marine collagen
made with
snapper. Snapper fish.
Red snapper, I believe.
So I've got two types of collagen supplements from Tote.
And this one is a powder form.
1500 milligrams of collagen with grape seed extract.
Tastes great. Dissolves in my mouth.
And I also got this liquid collagen.
This one also contains grape seed extract and
other
skin-loving ingredients like hyaluronic acid. The powder form of collagen.
I take it pretty much every day. It's recommended that you take collagen supplements right before you go to bed.
However, I don't want to forget it. So
on most days
after I work out in the evening,
I take my collagen supplement.
And the liquid form, I only take this like once or twice a week. This is a bit more pricey.
So I think I only need to take this once or twice a week.
But I've noticed a huge difference since I started taking collagen supplements.
I've been taking collagen supplements for about a year now.
And I really love it.
Collagen is a form of protein. So it helps with muscle recovery after workouts and
helps with your skin.
Helps to keep your skin supple.
Youthful.
They also make this collagen mask. I use this every now and then too.
I have a discount code. So if you like to try Tote collagen supplements or their products,
I'll leave the promo code and link in the description below.
It's about 4 p.m.
And I've been catching up on a few things. I've created a new playlist. It's called Hawaii lifestyle.
I put some of my older videos there on the playlist. So check them out.
I'm planning on working out today later in the evening. So I'm gonna start doing the meal prep.
I used to work out in the mornings, but right now it's just too cold for me in the mornings.
I can't imagine myself going out in 40, 50 degree weather.
That's just too cold for me coming from
80 degree weather all year round to make things easy on myself. I'm gonna cut out most of the ingredients now.
So when I get done
working out and taking a shower,
all I have to do is pretty much I just need to cook them and that's only gonna take
20 minutes at most.
For dinner, I decided I'm gonna make stir-fried pork with broccoli and serve it with white rice.
My mom is Asian. So I grew up eating a lot of white rice,
a lot of white bread.
And some of you may think that that's really bad for you.
However, I don't really think it's bad for you.
I'm gonna share with you the trick that I learned from my mom is that
I make a lot of white rice at one time and I wrap the individual portions of white rice
in plastic wrap and
put them in the freezer, heat the portions in the microwave. It's frozen right now, but this is what it looks like.
All ready to go for later on.
Also cut up the stems for the dogs and I bought the pork sliced at the store. So that saves time too.
I'm gonna get a run in. It's my stay out.
Tastes pretty good.
This is dinner.
Stir-fried pork with broccoli and steamed rice.
Hope you enjoyed this video today and I'm gonna eat and relax for the evening. Thanks so much for watching.
