Hey guys, hope you're having a great day. Today I'm gonna share with you some of the underrated
things you can do here in Phnom Penh. Before heading out though, I just want to show you
what I normally wear when I travel to Southeast Asia. I get a few questions about it, how to
dress in Southeast Asia. As you know, it gets quite hot here. My go-to look is just a simple
tank top and a shirt over it. As you may have seen in my other travel videos,
I just wear a dress underneath this shirt. And I found this tank top on Amazon. They are sold
in sets. You get eight pieces in different colors. They have other color options. I got
these color combos. And they are quite simple and versatile.
And yeah, they work pretty well when I travel. So crop length, simple design,
and it is a razorback tank top. Very comfortable. I'll leave the link in the description below.
Let's get the video started. Futures Factory is a new community space aiming to become the
cultural heart of Central Phnom Penh with a regular lineup of live music, family activities,
and a market with local arts and crafts. Supported by the youth welfare organization,
Child Safe, raising awareness about child protection and responsible travel through
visited Cambodia in 1967. You'll find tons of unique gifts here. And not only that,
you'll support the local community. The process will help the aspiring young talents pursue their
educational dreams. Just across from Futures Factory, hop over to David's restaurant for
My tomato and egg noodle soup was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were fresh.
They also have meat and vegan options and other Cameo dishes. This is a popular busy side of the
river. However, don't miss going to the other side and definitely go to the intersection of the four
and the Basak rivers. This side of the river was so calm and peaceful. I really enjoyed
riding in a tuk-tuk. Don't miss stopping at the Golden Pagoda along the way.
If you are in for an upscale dining experience, I highly recommend Krabang restaurant.
Located in a refurbished colonial building with plenty of outdoor seating,
it has a simple yet elegant approach to classic Cameo cuisine, focusing on fresh and organic
really appreciate. It has a really good taste to it. The curry was mildly spicy and flavorful with
local spices. The vegetables and herbs, rice noodles were so fresh. Tapioca coconut dessert
was super delicious. Definitely one of the best meals I've had in a long time.
Hope you enjoyed this rather unconventional way to enjoy the city of Phnom Penh.
