0:00 Intro
00:40 “Can you roar like a dinosaur?”
01:48 “Are you actually cool?”
02:24 “Snog, marry, avoid: Zendaya, Tom Holland and Kylie Jenner?”
03:25 ""Who is your celebrity crush?""
04:04 ""Can you beat a T-Rex in a fight?"
Who? What would you do?
Maisie!
Maisie wants the gossip.
This is sensational. Stock, marry, avoid.
Now, we want to have a bit of fun with you. We have a game on the show called Kids Ask.
I love it.
We have cheeky questions that we want to know when it comes to you, Jonathan Bailey.
This is a privilege and an honour.
But we can ask them because we can't get away with it, you see.
Sure.
But do you know who can?
The kids.
We love the kids.
I think we're ready to meet some of our younger interviewers here at Radio One.
I'm so excited for this.
Ava's got our first question.
Hi, Jonathan. I'm Ava and I'm six.
I know you're in a dinosaur film, but can you roll like a dinosaur like this?
Roar!
I think I know what your favourite dinosaur is.
Go on.
A stegosaurus.
A stegosaurus?
Is that your favourite dinosaur?
That's the prediction.
That's true.
Who's that?
Ava.
She knows.
Ava's been tipped off. Little Ava.
Well, that was part of the question.
Can you roar like a dinosaur?
Not quite as well as Ava, but I can try.
Please do.
You ready?
Roar!
Come on, louder than that.
Roar!
Roar, roar, roar.
That's a dinoslay.
He's a sassy dinosaur.
Give me your roars.
Oh.
We were saying earlier, all I ever think about is Jim Carrey when he does...
Very good.
It's quite a physical reaction.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Absolutely.
You're not getting over this.
You're giving me the eyes, right?
I have to do it if Jonathan Bailey's asking me to do a dinosaur impression.
Yeah, go on.
Roar!
Really good.
Being sat next to him. Didn't enjoy that.
You've got a lot of tension to release after seeing the film.
I really do.
Next up, we have Lachlan, and he's getting a little bit cheekier with his question, Jonathan.
Okay.
Hi, Jonathan. I'm Lachlan. I'm 12 years old.
There's lots of pictures of you online looking very cool in expensive clothes.
Are you actually cool, or are you just pretending?
Obviously, you get to wear amazing clothes as you go around the world, and it is an extraordinary thing,
but I think I am a nerd, and I think nerds are cool, and that's the whole point.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
As the Jurassic franchise is always celebrated, and I sound like...
Yeah, you want to just find your passion and stick with it.
Absolutely.
And I think that's kind of cool, and in which case I'm cool.
Maisie has gone for a slightly juicy question here. Take it away, Maisie.
Hello, I'm called Maisie, and I'm six years old.
I've got a cheeky question for you.
Zendaya, Tom Helen, and Kylie Jenner.
Hmm, what would you do?
Maisie.
Maisie wants the gossip.
This is sensational. Stog, marry, avoid.
Stog, marry, avoid, Kylie Jenner, Zendaya, Tom Helen.
Okay, I'm not splitting up Zendaya and Tom in any way.
They deserve to be together all the time in every room if they want to be.
Quite right.
Kylie Jenner, we're going to avoid.
Yeah.
For that reason, and that reason only.
And stog, marry, well, they're going to be married soon, aren't they?
So if you marry one, you're married into a throuple.
I feel like you're getting out of the question here.
So obviously I'll stog Tom and marry Zendaya.
It makes sense to me.
Could be the power couple we all want.
We do love a stog, marry, avoid, and marry one, don't we?
Now next up, we have a question that's quite similar to Maisie's, actually.
Not everyone likes to answer this, but remember, you have to because it's for the kids.
If you don't, you hate children.
This comes from Sophie.
Okay.
Hi, my name is Sophie. I'm nine years old. Who is your celebrity crush?
We can give you a little bit-
Do you know what? I saw Beyonce on Thursday, and I just can't get past the fact that she's the most extraordinary person on the planet.
That is true.
We might actually make you feel bad now, though, because we had someone that you're very close to,
you worked on this film with, come into Radio 1 and do Kids Ask recently.
Scarlett Johansson. Well, it's you.
It's yourself, Jonathan Bailey.
We promised each other we weren't going to say.
We're desperately in lust of each other.
Now it's out in the open.
Let's have one more from Lewin, who is bringing it back to dinosaurs.
Okay.
Hi, Jonathan. I'm Lewin, and I'm eight. I like dinosaurs, and I guess you do too.
I do.
Could you beat a T-Rex in a fight?
Do you know what, Lewin? It would be hard, wouldn't it, to beat a T-Rex in a fight?
It would be. They're big creatures.
They're very big.
They don't have massive arms and hands, so if it was a fist fight, I'd still lose.
Jonathan Bailey, thank you very much for playing Kids Ask on Radio 1 on The Going Home Show.
Did you have fun?
I did. Long may it last.
