Ich bin müde. Ich bin glücklich. Ich bin sauer.
Hallihallo! Heute sprechen wir über Gefühle.
Today we will talk about emotions.
One quick announcement before we are starting the video.
On the 28th of April, that's Monday, and that's very soon, sehr bald,
we are starting another 10-week challenge in my German Academy.
And you will get a special spring discount, einen Rabatt.
Der Rabatt is the discount.
So if you want to come to Germany or to Europe during the summer,
then now is the time to learn German or to brush up your German.
In my Academy, you learn with real-life conversations.
So for example, ordering in a restaurant, talking to the taxi driver,
going to the doctor, all these little things, talking on the phone,
everything you might need when you come to Germany,
you learn and with real-life native German speakers.
If you're interested, you can sign up for our waitlist
or you can just keep an eye on my YouTube channel and on my newsletter.
So now let's start with the video.
What does this mean?
Like, I like you. Very cute.
mag comes from mögen, to like something.
er, sie, es mag.
mag is a little bit irregular.
For example, how would you say, I like this plant.
You too?
Let me know in the comments, what do you like?
For example, you can also say,
I like football.
For example, how would you say, I love you.
How would you say, I love this plant.
And what do you think, how would you say, I love her and I love him.
Now, to express how you are, you would say, for example,
Ich bin müde.
And so, let me know in the comments, how are you feeling right now?
Now, how would you say, I am cold and I am warm or I am hot.
Now you don't say, ich bin, you would say,
And how would you say, I am hot.
So now, to say, I am hungry or I am thirsty.
In German, you could say,
But often, we use,
For example,
There is a song like this.
And how would you say, I am thirsty.
What do you think?
How would you say, I find that boring.
You can remember, it's like a long while.
So, it's kind of boring.
The time passes slowly.
How would you say, I find that great or awesome.
Can also mean horny.
But normally, nowadays, we use it for saying something is awesome.
How would you say, I don't like it at all.
Now, to say, I like that or I don't like that.
You can say,
But there is another way to say that.
And how would you say, I don't like that.
Ah, this plant.
I like it.
You?
Yes, I like the plant.
No, I don't like it.
How would you say, this makes me feel something.
We say,
For example, sad.
Or what I told you before, sour.
You can also say, for this one, I am scared.
We also say,
Literally, I have angst.
It means, I am scared.
And then, we also have something.
It's a false friend.
When you say,
Do you know what that means?
It means, I feel like doing something.
It can be sexual.
But normally, we use it for when you feel like something.
For example,
I feel like learning German.
And there goes a zu in there.
You see that?
Or for example, how would you say,
I feel like playing football.
So you see, this is something we use quite a lot.
And the last one, we say quite a lot,
but it's a bit more complicated.
It's to say, I am worried.
Yeah, the easy way to say it,
even though we don't use it that often is,
Literally, I am worried.
But normally, we say,
Which is true.
Normally, we do it to ourselves.
And that is,
Literally,
Worries.
Let's say it together.
Worries.
And sometimes, to calm somebody down,
for example, we say,
Or you can just say the short version,
So now, let me know in the comments,
how are you feeling today?
You can say,
Whatever you're feeling,
let me know one sentence only in the comments.
Okay?
