hey welcome back to my channel
if you're new here i'm tam i've been
meaning to do a wine review for quite
some time
since it's almost valentine's day i
thought this would be a perfect time to
do it
i've got three bottles of red wine here
and i bought all of this out wine they
are all under 30
usd we're gonna be enjoying
a tendering steak dinner with a baked
potato and green beans
for dessert chocolate dipped
strawberries
and chocolates just a quick disclaimer
before i get started i am no wine expert
however i am a foodie i have traveled
to a lot of places a lot of countries
i've
eaten a lot of good foods and i do love
a good glass of wine with my food
sometimes
totally based on my personal opinion and
i am not sponsored by any of the
companies
i'm gonna get started with some cheese
and crackers
generally cheese shave enjoyed with
white wines
however in my opinion is that
if you want to enjoy some good cheese
with red wine
i think you can today i'm trying these
two
this is mavic from argentina
so this is very fruity
quite bold with a hint of blackberry
strawberry
and vanilla notes more background
argentina
is quite popular on that small street
where morbid wines come from
however it is originally from france
and this wine goes well with beef
poultry
especially duck and lamb
i have here a simple steak dinner this
is just a rosemary
crusted steak with a baked potato
and steamed green beans
and also have a small salad
next i'm gonna try fry brothers marlo
2017.
pretty smooth but still bold and
juicy and marlo is very similar to
carbones albanian cabernet sauvignon can
be acidic
so if you want to stay away from acidic
wines
malo is a better option it can be
enjoyed with steaks
other green meats these fry brothers
malo
2017 is retail about 18 dollars usd
let's try the stick
very tender i marinated this tenderloin
for
about an hour in
olive oil and balsamic vinegar
this smaller wine goes pretty well with
my steak
in comparison with fry brother tomorrow
so
nice things about this almost
argentinian mavac
is uh the price point is
really low it's about 11 dollars usd
compared to 18 usd
the fry brothers milo for the price
this wine is very good quality
next one i'm gonna try is also from frye
brothers
pinot noir 2016.
pinot noir in general is very light wine
so if you prefer dry lighter wines
this is a good choice for you it's
retailed up about 25.63 cents
this wine is best paired with raw set
poultry
and pork dishes
lastly i have a dessert wine here
i'm already moscato dusty
from italy
i don't have this hot wine glasses so
i'm just gonna use a big glass
i've got some chocolate dipped
strawberries
dark almond chocolates and shortbread
cookies
since the wine's gonna be quite sweet
i'm gonna eat the strawberries first
i love chocolate dipped strawberries
yeah so good
try the cookie
i'm a bite of the chocolate
pretty good dark chocolate
let's try the sweet wine
[Music]
this is actually pretty good i'm
surprised
most mosquitoes and sweet wines can be
too sweet for me but this is
not too sweet and um it has a nice
peachy
apricot taste to it but this wine has
only five percent alcohol
it's retailed at about 12.65 cents usd
i hope you enjoyed tasting the wines
with me today
drop a comment below let me know what
your favorite wines are
