Starting the season with a win - Highlights Ajax - Telstar - Eredivisie

And that is a well-estimated Zonneveld. The foul of Bouwman. Telstra with the chance to get to 1-0. But he waits too long. Too long Milan Zonneveld. And a red boss Bouwman. But with such a lead he must score of course. The 17-year-old central defender in the foul. He tries to cross forward. That works. But then he still needs so much time. The boss can be happy. The ball is placed at the second post. As yet, no. Because the header already defends. The shot is blocked afterwards. And from the turn on the post. Another chance for Telstra. It is then shot over by Koswal. What's going on? Telstra with three serious chances to get ahead in the Johan Cruyff Arena. Because this header was already a serious chance. But then from the turn. Just through Weghorst. The ball on the post. Ajax escapes. Also in the Johan Cruyff Arena. Telstra wants to move forward. One of the newcomers. So we're not going to see that Takora today anyway. Oscar Bloch maybe. Lone van Salzburg. Here is Weghorst. No offside. And then it's a hit. There were still quite a long time. Nothing is going on for Telstra. Is one mistake deadly. Not played well. Takeover of Wijnald. The deed to Weghorst. Telstra is not in a good position yet. Then Berghuis has his first assist. And Weghorst his first goal. And then Telstra does it himself. Sometimes a bit of a disappointment with the Ajax supporters. Sprankwild does not yet determine the first official game of the season. Moro. That's a very free header. But there it is. The first very good save. Ronald Koeman. As we saw very often in the final phase of the season. Moslin. For the time being not past Baas. Baas wins it. And Baas sees Traoré go. And Telstra actually sees that too late. For the goal comes Moro. Traoré can also do it himself. But does not do it himself. But of course Traoré had to take care of the 2-0 either with an assist or himself. The chance may not be as big as for Zonneveld at the beginning of the game. But he was big. Moslin. That's not a good ball from Moslin. Now give it to Moro. Again 1 on 1 with Koeman. Can go to Traoré. Goes to Traoré. But not to Traoré. He recovers a bit of his own fault. Moslin you could say. But Ajax leaves with a few very big chances now. To make that second. Now it's just Moslin's fault. He must know that at a corner he can never lead that ball loss. Telstra again a lot of people in front. Ball now to the second post. And there Jarros keeps it. The 1-1 from his goal. Moro gives along. Wijnald. Just Koeman. If he gets it past Koeman, it's 2-0. Koeman is in the middle of an excellent game. Berger has some trouble. Flat on the knee. Sad start for him of the season. Gaai. Right back on the spot of Berger. Bertrand Traoré. He also leaves the field. And for him comes the Eredivisie debutant. An official match for Ajax. Oscar Klopp. Lucas. Through the legs of Gaai. Brouwer. That gives the chance. And the save again from Jarros. On Sonneveld. That's the second time this half. Weghorst. Taylor. And there is Koeman again. Who still has some trouble with that save. Weghorst who has already done this a few times well. And this one stops Koeman with his head. There he is hit. And Koeman is next to him. Did he make his first mistake of the game? And is that 2-0 Weghorst? Hit hard on his head. With that previous ball. Goes on. But now he comes too late. He seems to have some trouble with it. Weghorst with his second. With Ajax second. And so ends Ajax-Telstar in 2-0. In a game where both teams could have scored so much more often. It's unimaginable.
