This week we're heading back down to south Florida to meet up with my buddy Scott to put some primitive bow fishing equipment to the test. South Florida is home to many invasive fish species including armored catfish and tilapia, some of which can grow quite large. But hitting these spooky fish with primitive bamboo arrows is challenging to say the least. After a while we manage to get an arrow into a big tilapia and get to sample some on the dinner table.
Don't forget to subscribe to the channel. We're uploading a new video each week that features one of the following topics: archery, bow hunting, bow building, survival skills, bushcraft, self reliance, primitive skills, primitive bows, hunting, camping, fishing, and a lot more!
Got him.
Man what the heck. That was such a gimme. Such a gimme.
It's like ah.
So close. So freaking close. Oh man there we go.
What is going on? Why can't I hit one of these fish? Fish.
Just over that gar. One right here that doesn't seem to want to leave.
Oh.
That was a Hail Mary.
Five foot gator right here. Six foot. Sometimes you can call them two yet.
Just kind of splash in the water a little bit.
Got him. Oh come on. Can you back us up a little bit? He's coming under the boat. There he is.
Oh come on stay on there. I think he broke my tip. I can feel it wiggling around.
Oh he just came off.
Oh he got off. Oh I got him. Oh it was in him for a minute. Oh it's still in him.
Oh I just don't want it to come out. Maybe just jam it through him.
Yes. Well I don't know. Let's not count our chickens yet.
Oh no no don't go. Don't do that. Hell yes.
These are pretty aren't they?
They're just wearing it out. Look at the size of these bluegills.
That is awesome. That right there is what you call a cab over. That waterfall is just right.
