ThredUp Mystery Box UNBOXING – 70 Pieces for $88 to Resell on eBay & Poshmark

Okay, I don't remember the last time I ordered one of these, but I ordered one when I was on vacation because they were 30% off, so. I ordered a pull it right out box mixed clothing of 50 pounds. Let's open up to see what's inside. As you can see here, I am in my living room. My kids are here with me, so I apologize for all the noise you will hear in the background. They are playing Pokemon and I got a little break to see what's inside of this big boy. Expectations are very low because the last time I ordered one of these, it was terrible. Oh, there's a fun prince in there already. So, I do remember I had some credit. Let me pan up a little bit. I did have some credit, so that is why I bought this. I only had like $25 in credit and they were 30% off, so if I remember correctly, I only paid $88 for this whole box, which I thought was a pretty good deal, so hopefully there's some good stuff in there. Something else weird that I've noticed about thredUP, a few different things here. I occasionally send things into thredUP and that's how I accumulate the credit and I use it towards either like buying stuff on thredUP or it's been a while since I've done one of these, but I do a bulk box or a rescue box, whatever they call them, DIY boxes. So, you pack up a box and you have like 30 pounds, like the max is 30 pounds and they use UPS when they ship these kinds of boxes. They use FedEx, which I think is just so strange. Also, something that they recently have done that I've noticed is using AI-generated model photos, which I have done that in the past actually, so I thought that was kind of interesting. Yeah, 50 pounds and this one came from Pennsylvania, which is I think where they usually come from for me. Right off the bat, as you can see here, got some lovely print. Gonna try to get this done. My camera only has less- a little bit less than an hour of recording footage, so hopefully it doesn't take me an hour to get all of this out and figured out, so. Alright, let's get right into it. Right away, I am just drawn to this. What are you? So far, no name brand and I'm really hoping that I don't get a ton of sheen and as you can see here, I am in my living room area, different than the basement. Okay, well, I'm gonna have to look this up because it just has this tag. It says it's made in India. I don't see any other tags, but I think I will sell this regardless of the no tag and it doesn't look like a sheen tag. Looks like there was something there before though. It doesn't look like a sheen tag to me, so I think it'll be fine to list. It says it was made in India. Yeah, so I'm gonna have to put this in the maybe pile, but I think I will sell it because it is a great length. It's like a maxi. Alright, looks like we have some athletic piece. Okay, well, this is Patagonia, which I do love selling. I don't find it very often. It looks like it kind of has like a cross back. Hopefully, there's nothing majorly wrong. It is a size small. I really like the skirt part. This is a really, really nice color. Yeah, it's just a skirt, like a little mini dress, so awesome. Already loving it. Now, I don't know how much I'm paying right now per piece. I will let you know down below once I get everything counted. Alright, what is this? I see the tag. Boundary and Co. Extra small. Never heard of this, and I've never seen it before, but it is a really brightly colored and printed, looks like maxi dress. Let me get this out of the way a little more. Never heard of this brand. I'm just gonna look at the inner tag real quick. It says polyester. Oh, and silk. So, the outside is silk, so this must be a decent brand if it's silk. So, I'm gonna have to look that one up too. Fun. Hopefully, there's nothing wrong with it. It does have pockets. I love a dress with pockets. Here we have 1822 denim. I've seen this out and about. Thank god they are not skinny jeans because skinny jeans are not selling really well right now. So, these are Better Butter. They are a size 0 slash 25. I am not noticing anything. Right off the bat, I think I will try and list these because I've never tried to sell that brand. Here we have some American Eagle. These also look like a very, very small size. Super high rise. Excuse me, jegging. These are a size double zero, so I'm not sure about these ones. If I do end up listing them, it'll probably be like ten dollars, so I'm Here we have a floral. Oh, another dress. I'm really happy that we're getting dresses in this box. What? No way. Wow, that's great. I do like selling Old Navy, especially their dresses, and look at this. This is so cute. It has like a ruffled hem, floral, and it has a halter neckline. Where's the tag? It feels like cotton. I will definitely sell this because I do like picking up Old Navy dresses. Here we have some Abercrombie & Fitch. High rise, super skinny, size 30, and yeah, I don't know if I'll sell these ones yet. I mean, I personally still wear skinny jeans, but if they're just gonna sit for a while in my closet, then I don't know if I'm gonna sell them or not. Undecided. So here we have some Catherines, which I don't think I'll sell these. They are a 26, and I might just donate these to my local thrift store. I don't know. I'll look up comps. I've never picked this brand up, but if things are two plus size, they usually sit for me. Things like from 1x to 3x, I feel like sell better for me. Oh, is it the same for you? Okay, here we have some Old Navy, size 12 petite, high rise, wow, wide leg jeans. I will sell these. I actually do not mind selling Old Navy. I don't pick up every single Old Navy item I see, but I know I have sold some wide leg Old Navy jeans before. Here we got a fun little knit crochet top. I've never heard of this brand. Um, holy moly, comps for this were all over the place, ranging from $20 to like $300. Oh my word. I couldn't find the exact comp for the top that I had, but definitely look out for this brand because you might have potential money maker on your hands. M6 Mason Marlin Margalella, but this is definitely giving me some beachy coastal vibes, that's for sure. It's probably 100% cotton would be my guess. Whoa, it says Paris on here, so maybe this is something good. 100% cotton. Oh, and the size tag is right here, and it's an extra large. I will sell this. Usually knit tops sell pretty well for me. Here we have another fun print dress. Oh, Fleury. I do know what that is, if you don't know. It is anthropology. Oh, I love this rope design. This is cool so far. I am really enjoying this box. Here we have, what size? Extra small, and this looks like an older anthropology tag. Oh man, the print on this is really cool. It has like buildings, palm trees, kind of looks like India. Let's see. Oh, look at that. That was so cute. Oh, it's 100% silk. So yeah, I will definitely sell this. This is really fun and unique. Yeah, I'm gonna sell this for sure. All right, what do we have here? Couldn't tell you, but from the looks of it, it does look like Zara, and let's see if I'm right. It definitely feels like Zara. Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is a Zara little cardigan knit. Cardigan, black cardigan, so nothing too fancy, but I will probably list it just because I have it. Why not, right? Let's see what this other black thing is. Audrey and Grace. One X, another black cardigan. This will be going in my maybe. I do like that the buttons are also fabric covered. I think that is a really nice touch, but I do see some pilling, but I'll look it up. I don't think I'm gonna sell it, but if comps are good, then I will. All right, we have another top. Looks like the brand tag is also gone. I could just look up the RN number, but it's a size large. I don't think it's really anything special, but I will go ahead and put it in the lookup pile. Oh, we have DKNY, size medium. This is a dress. Okay, um, interesting dress. I will probably sell it because it is kind of funky. Got the mesh covering there, or the mesh paneling, so I'll probably sell that. Why not? What is this? Oof, I do not like this. This is a sequin top, twisted heart. I don't know. I'll have to look this one up too. I don't know. This doesn't feel that great, but oh my goodness, these comps are wild. I can't believe I'm actually gonna list this. I'll look it up. It does give off very Y2K vibes to me. Here we have another pair of jeans. Flying monkey. I have seen these out in the wild. I never picked them up. They are size 27. They're actually a pretty good style, so maybe I'll try them. All right, here's another one. I've seen these out in the wild and never thought to even, like, look them up. I'm generally shocked by the comps. I'd definitely grab these at the bins if they are a non-skinny style. Oh, here's a fun mix of different fabrics. Okay, Budweiser. It's a nice graphic t-shirt. What is this? Anheuser-Busch. So it looks like someone like upcycled this, which is really cool. I really like the different fabrics. This is really cool. I think I will go ahead and sell that just because it's unique enough. Looks like we have, like, a fake silk thing. Yes, it's Ann Taylor Petites. It's another outlet piece, and you can tell by those two little dots there. But I might try this on maybe and see. No, that's not my style. Nope, I'm just gonna donate it. All right, here we have Banana Republic, and this is another outlet item. So, I don't know. I think I'll donate this one too. I'm not gonna try it on. Oh, we have a fun fabric piece. I like the color of this. Ooh, okay. This is Free People. Hopefully there's nothing wrong with it. Oh, these are gonna sell. Usually this style of Free People stuff usually sells in the Free People beach line. It is a size small, so I will definitely sell that. Great, great. I'm not gonna try those on. Oh, I see new tags. Attention, Ships Any. I don't know what that is, but cool. I thought it was, uh, Athleto for a second. This is a dress. It feels like towel material, so maybe this will be good. Okay, so I think that's the brand. Ships Any, size F. Uh, not sure if I had to guess. Maybe a large? Medium? Oh, it says one size on here. Yeah, okay. So, I don't know. I feel like this would work really well on the beach. I'm gonna have to look that one up. Here we have Athleta, and I just picked up some of these Farallon style, uh, pants or shorts at the bins recently, and they sell pretty well for me. And these are nice olive green, size 4. I will definitely sell these. Hopefully there's nothing wrong with them, but so far I'd say this is a successful box. I definitely can make my money back on it. All right, what is this? This is Aerie, extra large. I do like selling Aerie. This is a really pretty blue sweater, light knit. Feels like it might be a wool blend. Let's see. Nylon, acrylic, wool. So, I will definitely give that a go. I like the little knot, or the detailing in the front. Awesome, awesome. Some new tag stuff in there. Okay, here is a loft. I'm gonna see if my mother-in-law wants this. Um, little long line cardigan. Open front. Let's see, what is the material content? Kind of feels like wool. No, it's not. So, I'm gonna see if my mother-in-law wants that. Here's the new item. Some fishnets. They retailed for $11. So, I will probably just donate these. They were in 2016. Berkshire makes me think of the company that sells houses. That's funny. Oh, we have a leather jacket. Real leather. Mars, New York. Extra large, oh my. Look at that. Hopefully you can see that tag, but I'm definitely gonna sell this. This feels really awesome. I feel like the leather might need to be treated a little bit, but I feel like this kind of stuff sells. Wow, it looks vintage. Made in Pakistan. So, I have to look this up, but I have a feeling I will sell this. That's a thick girl. Okay, here we have a top. Oh, I do like selling this brand. This brand sells very quick. I've only ever found it one other time in my life, and it sold very quick. So, this looks like a little mini dress. Hopefully it's not missing a belt or anything. I don't see any belt loops, so yes. Okay, I'm just, like, blown away by this box, because my last box I literally could not sell anything from the box. It was, like, all Shein, and yeah, it was so bad. Alex Marie. But also, I learned about new brands from these boxes, like this one, but I already see, like, a little stain here. I've never heard of Alex Marie. It is a size small, and it is a cotton nylon elastane. Oh, I got a sneeze. I smell perfume. Oh, I think this has perfume on it, but nice little puff sleeves here. I will have to look that one up. All right, we got some Eileen Fisher, which I do love selling. This is a petite medium. Not expecting to get, like, a ton for. Looks like it's in good condition, so maybe 15, 20 bucks for that, but it's better than, like, Walmart brand. Oh, here we have some more jeans. These are Madewell. These are the perfect vintage wide leg jeans, size 27. Oh, I might try these on. No, I don't need them. They're too wide, but this style usually does pretty well, and I don't see any puckering Madewell. You can usually get, like, puckering up there in the front, but these look really good. Wow, I'm just, like, so shocked by this. My luck usually is not this good. Okay, we have classic Calvin Klein. This is a size 6. I'm glad it's a dress because Calvin Klein dresses sell better for me. This is a nice little sleeveless, nice dress. Hopefully there's no stains. I think I will sell that. Nice little career dress. Here is another Shweta. This looks like if I can untangle it. Oh, there it is. It is Athleta. And this is a size large. I really like this sweater. This sweater is cute. I like the stripes. I wish it was my size. It feels really, like, heavy, like a heavy knit. Oh, and there's a long side slit here. It looks like I can't tell if somebody sewed it shut. I don't know. Kind of looks that way. I'm gonna have to look up. Yeah, I think that's the problem here. It came loose, so that's an easy fix for sure. Now, is there a material tag? Yes, it is a nylon viscose merino wool. I will look up the style. It has the style code. I don't know if you'll be able to see it, but it has it right there. So, I'll look that up just to make sure if that is supposed to be sewn up. Okay, we have some athletic split- what does that say? Split five- splits 59. No idea if what that brand is. If you're on the lookout for a new activewear brand, this might be the one. I would definitely grab this out in the wild if I saw it. Okay, back to the haul. But I like the style, and if it's nothing, then I'll probably keep it for myself. So, another one to look up. This looks like a blazer. J.Crew schoolboy. I know these used to do really well. Oh, and it's- it's a toddler. Oh my goodness. It's a 2T. That's a 2T. Seems awfully big for a toddler. My son is four, and he's a 6T- 5T. That's really weird. There- there's no way this is a 2T. This is way too big for my four-year-old son that wears a 5T, but I'll still sell it. I was hoping it would fit him. Here's another blazer, and this one is Anne Taylor Petit's. For Petits, and it is the Owlette. I don't know about this one. I'll put this one in the maybe. Maybe, maybe. What is this pink thing? Oh, it feels pretty heavy. What is this? Oh, it's Free People. Missing the size, but usually it has the size on the inside sometimes. This is another dress. Free People is hit or miss for me, like their dresses. This one has pockets, but it's a nice pink bright color. Someone might like it. Has some button detailing in the front there, and it is a size small. See, they have the size on the inside. And 100% cotton, so hopefully there are no missing buttons, but yeah, I'll sell it. What is this? Oh, here we have a Uniqlo piece. This is perfect for the beach. You can wear it over your swimsuit. I'll probably sell that. What is this striped thing? Erin, Erin Featherson. Sounds familiar. I don't know. It's a size 8. It kind of feels like a scuba fabric. It's an interesting style. It's just polyester spandex. I'll have to look this one up, but I feel like I've heard of this brand. All right, we have Mystery, size medium, and this looks like a little kimono type thing. Very boho. I'll probably sell it because it is lightweight and long, and has the belt attached to it. Hopefully the area I picked, I did not want to bring this downstairs in the basement, especially when we are in the middle of painting. So hopefully this background and everything is okay. We have another pair of jeans, and these are Levi's. Size, these are 501, 3132. They got the button fly. I wonder if these are men's. I don't know, but I will sell them. They also have this Levi's premium patch over here. I don't think they're selvedge. No, they are not. You can tell if they're selvedge if they have some like red lining stuff on the inside. That sells for a lot more than regular Levi denim. Okay, we got another black sweater. Sweater with a pink rose. I am not gonna sell this. I think this is just sold at like Kohl's or something, so I will spank you. Another black item, turtleneck. What is this? I can't believe we haven't gotten a Shein item, but I have a feeling this might be Shein. I'm not sure what this is, but it feels like nylon, like you know, the tights that you wear underneath your dresses. That's the fabric it feels like to me. I don't see anything. So this is probably just a donate. Yeah, I'm really surprised I haven't gotten one Shein item in here yet. I probably just jinxed it though. Here we have Zara. This is like a dress, sweater dress thing, and it is a size small. I'll probably sell that. That's kind of cool. It gives me some academia vibes. Champion Elite. Um, I'll probably just go ahead and donate this. Champion doesn't sell very well, so I'll donate that. We've got a little feminine looking thing here. Utags. Fashion. All right, got some new Utag socks. Star Wars. I'll see if my brother-in-law wants these because I do not watch Star Wars, or if my my friend would want them. What is this? Tendacias clothes? Never heard of that. It's interesting with the knit and the eyelet sleeves. I'll have to look this one up. Um, it's 100% viscose. Pretty sure it's just polyester, but I think this will sell. I don't see any other tags in here, so I don't even know the size, but if I had to guess, it looks like a medium-large. So I'll sell that if there's nothing wrong with it, if there's no rips or something. Here's another fun print. Karma Highway. This feels nice. I don't know if it's anything. It's another tank top, which is perfect for this season. There we go. It's 100% viscose. Made in India. Another one that I'll have to look up. Nice and flowy. It feels really nice. I could have swore it was a silk mixture. Oh, I found some more fishnets in there. Here we have Girlfriend Collective, which I do like selling, and this is a really nice little sports bra. I love this color. If it were small, I'd probably keep it for myself, but I'm not an extra small anymore. Depends on the brand, but here are those tights. Now that I have two of them, maybe I could probably sell them in a lot. Oh, and these are medium or nude colored. The other ones were black. Let's see what this sweater is. Oh, it looks like it's a sweater dress. Ooh, okay. This is Everlane. This is a sweater maxi dress. This looks nice. It is wool recycled polyester and elastane. Everlane doesn't sell as well as it used to, but I will definitely sell this. I've got some more sweaters. Izod. I think I'll sell this. I feel like you, the young kids, you know, the broccoli haired boys, I feel like they like the spellouts, large spellouts like this with the embroidered branding, and this is a size large, but I will put this in the maybe pile. Get some notifications here. Banjanan. No idea what if I'm saying that right. Never heard of it. It's another one to add to the pile. 100 cotton though, so yeah, I will put it in the pile. Another Calvin Klein extra small top that I'll probably just donate. Here we have a lacy number, Oscar de Larenta. Here's the tag. Oh, I will sell that. I've actually recently sold some Oscar de Larenta, like right before I went to California. I found a nice little silky number at the bins, so I'll give that a go. I'm just gonna pull the rest out here. Okay, what is this fun number? Oh, it's another Free People. This one actually has the size on there. Looks like a crop top with the puff sleeves. I like this burnt orange color. Here we have another tank top, Babaton, which is sold at Aritzia. I will definitely sell that. Oh, actually there's some pit stains that I'm gonna have to stain-treat. Another sweater. This is misguided. I have picked this up in the past. This is the Ursha off-shoulder crop orange, so it looks like it goes like that. Yeah, why not? It's new with tags. Oh, what is this? Ann Taylor. Medium petite. I don't think I'll sell this. I don't know. Should I sell it? I don't think I will. Okay, and this looks like- oh, not the last piece. Ooh, Fashion Nova. So I don't think I'll sell this either because Fashion Nova is fast brand. Fast fashion, and this is really ugly. Sorry if you think this is cute, I just do not. All right, last item is a Nike sports bra. Nike Pro sports bra. Nice. What size is this? I might keep it. It kind of looks small, like extra small. I don't know, man. I think this box was actually really good. Like, I'm not disappointed. I have a pretty good pile of stuff that I know I will sell, and then this pile is the stuff that I'm going to donate right here, and then I might just put these in a lot and sell them now that I have two, and then I have a small little pile here of items that I need to list.
