Part two of my brother's very first dual sport adventure picks up right where part one left off on the shores of Klickitat Lake. After checking out the lake, my brother hopped back on his Hawk 250 Chinese dual sport motorcycle and I jumped on my Suzuki DRZ400s and we headed up some abandoned, overgrown logging roads to a scenic overlook. Next, our dual sport exploring adventure took us through the forest, back past the rock where he had his crash in part 1, and to the top of Mary's Peak, where we discovered some shenanigans had taken place involving the porta potties. All of them were thrown over the side of the mountain and resting a long ways down the mountainside. Off road motorcycle exploring is one of my favorite things to do, and despite some hiccups, my brother really enjoyed his first dual sport motorcycle adventure and is planning to come back for more exciting journeys on his Hawk 250 dual sport in the future.
We're going to go to the top of the mountain and have a refreshing beverage.
This is fun.
Pretty. Not. Bad.
Oh, that's not awesome.
What the sh**? There's two of them.
No heads, mom!
Don't tell my mom. She'll be mad.
He's a brand new rider, so we're taking it easy today.
There it is. Beautiful.
Oh ho ho ho!
Baby!
We're doing it!
Technically private property, and you're technically not supposed to go down to it,
but I technically don't give a sh**.
So here we are at Klickitat Lake.
Whoa, sh**.
Oh, you alright?
You okay?
Interesting day. Interesting day.
It's always an adventure when we go riding, you know?
Always an adventure.
We're going to go to the top of the mountain and have a refreshing beverage.
It'll be good stuff.
Cool bridge.
There he's going to get muddy.
Not getting around those puddles.
There he comes.
This will be more fun.
Better footage to watch him navigate some tighter, more sh**ier stuff.
So we've been to Klickitat Lake before.
Previous video, which I will link for you.
And the sequel to that video, the second part,
we went up to an overlook, which is where we're headed right now,
assuming we can still get up there.
Cool view, nice place to stop and have a snack and chill for a minute.
Just relax.
He's sliding around some.
You're going to learn that middle's not where you want to be.
So tell me about your first time out riding in the woods.
First time on a motorcycle in less than ideal conditions.
How'd it go for you?
Any memorable early on mistakes?
I made more than a few.
Most of mine are on video.
He's got good traction.
So that's helpful.
He needs to stay on the road,
which normally wouldn't be a concern if he hadn't just
whiskey throttled into a rock right in front of me.
So I guess that's a little concerning.
But slow and steady wins the race.
I'm ruining decent footage by rambling.
That's what I do.
Welcome to dorking the road.
You got it?
He's got it.
Cool beans.
This way.
Alright.
Little hill.
No big.
A bit more overgrown than the last time we were here.
Look at all these shoots.
This is fun.
Sorry, I would go faster.
I'm just trying to keep an eye on them behind me.
Make sure we don't lose them.
Still back there.
Pushing through.
This is really growing up, man.
It's only been like six months since I was here.
If that.
A few months.
And we're out of it.
Getting a view right here.
Getting a view.
Man, this grass is high.
No one's driving their trucks in here.
It would not be this tall.
Crazy to me.
Pretty not bad.
Here he comes.
He made it.
I'm going to give you guys a view of this before I get off.
It's a little overgrown, but not bad.
Not bad.
I've actually been over there.
There you are.
Up on top of the world.
Here we are.
Chilling.
Going to enjoy a snack and a beverage.
While we look at this view.
Alright, we're bushwhacking.
Bushwhacking our way out.
This is neat.
How many seeds from these plants on my seat right now?
It's kind of hilarious.
You want to lead down?
Explain that to me.
This is an alternate path.
It's more fun.
Yeah, just wiping the puzzle off my face.
Oh yeah, you don't want to hit those too hard.
No, you hit it.
How did I?
I got you?
Yeah.
I'm so pissed you don't have a camera.
Also, I'm sorry that was an accident.
I was just trying to get around you fast so you didn't swerve into me.
You can splash me next time we see a puddle.
I wasn't expecting that to happen.
You don't ever see cars up here.
This will do nicely.
I just want proof that I can do it.
That's all.
And I don't want any f***ing Subarus coming by while I'm doing it.
Hi.
You're not going to have any luck turning around right here.
You backing out?
Someone's been trying to shoot that f***ing lock off the gate.
What a bunch of dicks.
That's you.
Sorry.
I'm sorry.
That was not my intention.
If that helps.
I'm probably going to wreck now because I'm thinking about it too hard.
Scared the piss out of myself.
But I'll do a couple passes.
Take one.
Wheelie time.
Almost f***ed it up that time.
That was a good one.
He's got it.
Here's Chad's rock.
The old Chadillac rock.
That's what we're going to name it.
Right there.
Chadillac rock.
We're four miles from the top if you want to go see it.
It's all road.
You good with that?
It's probably worth a look.
Go up to the top and see the top of the mountain.
Because we're only four miles away.
And it's open.
It was closed last time I was here on the Africa Twin if you remember.
I'm going to put my bike right there and take a picture.
You ready?
Alright, here we go.
I'll tell you that.
Look at this.
Look at it.
Look where we are.
Unbelievable.
Look at that.
I kind of want to ride off through that field but I'm sure it's frowned upon.
In fact, I know it is.
Some guys got arrested for doing it and their truck's not that long ago.
And the snow up here.
Let's fork into the campgrounds as some of you may be slightly into her.
This is the Mary's Peak campground.
Closed for the season but let's look at it.
Ah, I bet the gate's closed.
No, it's open.
It's open.
Thrown in some.
This was pretty new a couple years ago and there was no, no foliage.
I don't like how close together and how there's no privacy between the campsites.
I don't really dig it.
Wouldn't be bad if you had the place to yourself.
I don't think.
It connects to a lot of trails up here too.
Kind of neat.
It's very small.
It's like 10 sites or something.
Anyway, that's the campground.
All gorgeous too.
No good.
Oh no, it's not bad.
It's not bad.
Not bad.
Ah, that's not awesome.
What the sh**?
There's two of them.
Wow, people are a**holes.
It's less than ideal port-a-potty placement.
You can't tell but that's like way down a hillside.
I just want to make sure I get decent footage of these port-a-potties.
So we're here on the edge of the mountain and they are not.
There's one, two, and there's two more down here.
Down the hillside.
Doors open and everything.
Prevailing theory is that it's the wind.
We've had pretty crazy windstorms.
I don't know.
What if it's douchebags?
Could be douchebags.
My brother is a rockstar because he climbed a mountain on a Hawk 250.
Like a boss.
No big deal.
After wrecking it, I have to add.
After wrecking it, he climbed a mountain on a Hawk 250.
Let's motor back down I guess.
Head that direction.
It's falling.
Threat.
This is me trying to ride with no hands.
And neutral down this hill.
It's really stupid.
So you know.
Give it a shot next time you're on your own.
Steering around these corners is interesting.
It's all about leaning though.
This is sketch dude.
I don't know if I can do this one this tight.
I'm going to put my hands on the bars.
It's exactly the right steepness to keep me at a constant speed.
It's kind of good actually.
I'm not really accelerating.
I'm going to pull over here and take a picture because that looks really pretty.
Yeah dude.
No hands mom.
Don't tell my mom.
She'll be mad.
Hey look mom.
No hands.
Everything's coming to pieces.
Hey look mom.
I made it.
Don't go off the edge bro.
That's not good.
I put it in neutral and tried to see how far I could go with no hands.
That was fun.
Apparently I'm just doing all kinds of dumb shittery today.
That's true.
You set the bar pretty high.
Yours was an accident though.
It's not really dumb shittery unless you do it on purpose.
It was definitely an incident.
An occurrence.
Alright.
We're almost there.
Alright.
We're back at the truck.
We survived.
A little worse for wear.
But we made it.
How was your first riding adventure?
It was good.
Just testing out the Hawk.
I haven't rode it really at all.
That's the first time I rode that at any speed.
Not on the road and everything.
So it was good.
It's a hell of a test you put it through.
Yeah we did a little test.
We did some heelies, some little hills.
That's good what we know about now.
Yeah.
Awesome.
So are you excited to keep riding that thing in the woods?
Yeah.
I'm ready to go right now.
Alright.
Well.
So you were here for the very first time.
All told, I think you did a damn good job for your first time.
I was definitely way worse.
I've ridden with a lot of first timers that didn't do as well as you just did.
Did they do any flipsies?
Well I mean crashing into a giant rock and flipping over the handlebars aside.
Which I really hope we got on video.
Me too.
But thank you for watching.
I just want to say it.
I already said it.
If you like the video or if you want to wish my brother a speedy recovery.

And if you've got any comments or suggestions for the Chad here.
Chadalack himself.
I'm sure he'll be hanging out in comments responding.
So leave those below.
But for now and as always.
I just want to say thank you very much for watching.
Thank you to my patrons for all of your support.
Their names are on the screen right now.
But please do not forget to be excellent to each other.
Thank you.
Excellent!
Oh.
There's some dirt on my lens.
I wonder how long that's been there.
Because that makes for a real shitty video for a long time.
