Another day, another get ready with me.
I've decided a couple of weeks ago to try to record these as often as I can.
Just simple everyday makeup looks because the kids are in school.
So I have a little bit more time during the day and I have to get ready for the
day either way.
So might as well just press record and show you guys what I'm using.
Let me know if you enjoy these or not.
Obviously I'm going to still record reviews and things like that,
but I thought it would be nice to have an extra video of just me getting ready.
Also,
I think these videos can show you a lot of what I actually use every day.
And lately I've been using a very simple makeup.
So my skin,
I've been to the beach and I have quite a lot of freckles,
so I don't want to cover all of that.
And I've been really enjoying my makeup this past week.
Also the star of the show will be this product from Victoria Beckham.
This is their lip stain,
not lip stain,
cheek stain.
I think that's what it's called.
It's written very small,
so I can't tell.
I have all three colors,
but this color coral has been doing something to me.
So we're going to use that and that's it.
Hope you guys will enjoy it and you can grab your makeup and hang out with me.
Starting with my skin prep,
I will take this Tarte poreless primer just right here in this area.
It really helps with my pores,
minimizing them right here.
I don't take it everywhere else,
just where I feel like the pores are more visible.
And this also mattifies the skin right there.
So that helps with the heat outside.
See that just took the shine away.
This is such an old favorite and I use it pretty much every single day.
I've been using the Tarte or the Danessa Myricks one.
This has a little bit of a coverage and I don't want to cover too much of my skin
today.
But yeah,
I always use some sort of a smoothing like pore filling primer.
I am going to spray this real quick.
It says serum moisturizing and I have really dry skin right now.
My nose is peeling just because I've been in the sun at the beach and I felt the
need to use some sort of a serum first.
And I do love this product,
but my atomizer isn't my favorite.
It's kind of sprays in a line and it's quite expensive,
so I can't recommend it,
but I have it.
I'll use it.
The actual mist is fine and it sprays it nice.
It just doesn't spray it like a circle,
you know,
it sprays like a line and right on top of it,
I'm going with my Marriott SPF.
It's the only thing I've been using this past couple of weeks.
I love the coverage.
I love that you can still see my skin through it.
I like that it has extra SPF.
I've already done my skincare this morning and I have two colors here,
18 and 22 and I mix them because I'm a little bit tan and so I put a little
bit of 18 on my hand.
That one's quite deep and then a little bit of 22 and I just rub it in between
my fingers and just go straight on.
It looks crazy when you first apply it,
but it's not.
Also,
my body is much tanner than my face.
I've been putting SPF like crazy on my face at the beach,
so everything else is tan except my face and my neck.
I just keep blending this into my skin and you can still see all my freckles,
even sunspots.
I think this one's a sunspot,
but everything else is an actual freckle and I've had freckles my entire life.
And then as I got more into skincare,
I started using more acids and things like that.
They removed some of my freckles.
And so every time I go in the sun,
I just get freckles everywhere.
They're still not super intense.
They used to be very intense.
Um,
but my daughter has really cute freckles all over her nose and cheeks and so
pretty and youthful.
I love them.
And that is my base,
this married product.
I absolutely love it.
Can't say enough good things about it.
Mostly when you have dry skin,
this is perfect.
Moving on to my under eyes.
I am going to correct them just a little bit and I'm taking this beauty pie
corrector.
This is in the shade medium deep and I take just very little and add right here.
You can see kind of that I have some purple under eyes.
I'm still struggling with my sleep,
but this really helps.
Honestly,
I probably would use my fingers because I blended that married SPF moisturizer.
There's still some of that on my hands and it's like,
it's just moisturizing and easy to use.
So far we don't need any brushes.
The next product I'm using is one that I used to be my absolute favorite and I
rediscovered it.
And this is the Clé de Peau concealer.
This is in the shade four.
It's a little light for me right now for all over.
But what I do is I just take my finger and kind of warm up the product and then
I will go right here.
The reason I've been liking this so much,
mostly on top of that married skin tint is that the coverage I can control so
easily.
Mostly if I use my finger and it covers well with a very little product and I
just love it.
I love the way it looks on the skin.
It looks like I have nothing on my skin.
I would use this all over my face,
but the color's a little light for me right now.
So I'm just mainly using this to brighten up the center of my face.
You can leave it like this.
You don't need a powder on top of this.
I will use very little powder.
Um,
but I've been loving this product so much.
I don't even have a mirror by the way.
I need to find one.
I'm using my monitor because a little bit on the nose,
a little bit here.
I kind of like to brighten this area right here.
I feel like it got a little dark from the sun.
I feel like this lifts my face a little bit as well.
Okay,
let's see what we've done.
Yeah,
that looks so natural.
So good.
You could still see my freckles and my sunspots and everything and I don't mind
that at all.
I will take another concealer that's a little bit darker.
I have here the Lisa Eldridge concealer.
This is in the shade six.
Is it too light?
Yeah,
it's a little too light.
That's okay.
We'll make it work.
I'm just going to conceal just a couple of the spots.
This is all freckles,
which we're going to leave it alone.
But if there's any spots,
like I always have a dark spot right here on my nose,
it's because it's an injury.
And so there's like this indentation right there.
It always looks dark.
So I go in with something like this.
I don't want to cover too much,
just what are super obvious.
My nose is still peeling a little bit.
So I'm going to go again with this serum spray.
This is all I'm doing for my complexion.
I don't want to cover anything else,
but I will take a little bit of the powder from Charlotte Tilbury and I'm just
going to take some of this shine away right here.
I am going to use a bronzer.
I probably should have done this after,
but that's okay.
I'm also taking it a little bit right here on my forehead.
There we go.
Not too much.
There's barely any product on this.
I just want it to not look so shiny.
I want it to look like my skin.
I think that's enough for the base.
I'll use more powder as I need it throughout the makeup,
but I love this skin.
It just looks like I'm not wearing anything,
but it's a little bit more perfected.
Next product I'm taking is my Westman Atelier Bronzing Drops.
And this is shade two, right?
Yes.
Shade two.
I've been using shade one a lot.
I love it as well,
but shade two probably matches me a little bit better.
And I take it on my hand and then I go and bronze up my skin a little bit.
I personally use this more as a bronzer rather than a bronzing drop.
Sometimes you can use it all over your skin.
I like to be quite precise where I put it and I love it.
I love the effect that it has.
With this limited edition,
I saw that they re-released it and I was confused.
What happened?
Were they sold out?
I'm not sure,
but it's still one of those products that I reach for it all the time.
I think it is perfect.
It blends into your skin.
You do not have to work for it at all.
And I'm going to also contour my lips a little bit with this,
just a little bit.
Then we can go here as well.
Like it just looks like my skin.
I love this.
It looks natural.
It looks a little sculpted,
not too much.
Perfect.
I have this super old brush from Wayne Goss and it started shedding.
So every time I use it,
I see like black little hairs all over my face.
I need to wash it to see if that will help with it or it's just too old.
I don't know.
It's one of my favorite brushes,
but yeah,
I feel little hairs everywhere.
So if you see them,
no, you don't.
That is good for my base.
Moving on to this Victoria Beckham cheek stain.
This is in the shade Coral and I've had the regular color.
I mean,
there's only three.
I have Vintage Rose right here,
which I've only tried it in store.
I have Coral.
It's the one that I've been using and I've had their just regular color.
What is it?
I found it.
It's called Flushed.
So I've been using Flushed,
but since I've gotten Coral,
I love this color so much.
It's definitely more summery.
Now this product is not for everybody because it is pretty much like water,
like tinted water.
And it's a transparent color,
which I love mostly with makeup like this,
where I barely have anything on and it stains your cheeks.
This will be on all day long and the color is so beautiful.
The reason why I'm saying it's tricky is because it will stain everything that
you put it on.
So if you put on your hand,
it'll stain your hand.
I sometimes use my finger to blend it out.
It'll stain my finger.
I personally don't care.
But yeah, just worth mentioning.
And the pipette applicator,
I hate it.
I always hate these applicators,
but it is what it is.
So that is the color.
You can see how watery it is.
I am sacrificing a brush for this and I'm using this Rougher number four.
Yes, oh, four.
This is my favorite way to do the blush lately.
It becomes one with your skin and it's quite watery,
as you've seen,
but using it with a brush,
definitely you can control the pigment a lot more,
but I've used it with my fingers and it works really well.
I also put this on my lips as well to stain my lips.
It's so beautiful.
Now, like I said,
this is not for everybody.
I think it can be a little bit overwhelming for people because it's so liquidy and it
it stains,
so it can be a little bit scary to work with,
but it blends in so nicely.
It just meshes with your skin.
I think the second you learn how to use the product,
it's so easy.
I could do this just all in the car,
you know,
because I've learned.
I just put a dot here and just use my fingers to blend this all in.
If you have full coverage,
do not use this product.
It will remove your foundation because it is so watery,
but for something like this,
where it's the skin tint or light,
light to medium coverage,
it's absolutely perfect.
You can see my skin through it.
It almost looks like I blushed from within.
Now it's a little orangey to have this blush naturally,
but if you use more of that red color,
it will be more of a natural blush,
but I love the way you can still see all the freckles,
the imperfections.
It kind of,
I don't know.
It's like a see-through blush and I love it.
It's like playing with watercolor.
And let me just show you how I also put it on my lips to stain my lips just a
little bit.
I will put lip liner,
but it also gives a flush of color.
I think it's so pretty.
So that gave me a little bit of that coral tint to my lips and I love it.
I think it's so pretty.
Usually what I do is I'll put my lip liner or put a lip stain liner like the
Huda ones.
I have them all right here and then I'll go with this and put a drop in the
center and kind of blend it in.
I like to wear it like that,
but I just wanted to show you how it would look like if you just use your
finger and the stain.
Now I'm going to go back into my powder and I'm just gonna use this to almost
blend everything in right here.
So it'd be soft and not harsh.
And this will also kind of mattify this area because I don't want that shiny.
I just want everything else to be very glowy and luminous and natural.
But this area I wanted matte and just blurred a little bit.
That is my base all done.
It looks very natural,
a little bit of a color,
but not too much.
I could go with a little bit of this highlighter from Victoria Beckham.
Why not?
This is the lighter color.
It's the color pearl.
I just put very little on my finger and go right here.
Doing the brows real quick,
just a little bit of a fill in a couple parts right here.
Very natural,
very simple.
I could even go without doing my brows and just putting a gel,
maybe one that has some pigment in it.
Um,
but I do like a clean brow or not necessarily clean,
like super shaped,
but just filled in in those few spots that I need.
I'm just using the Revy brow pencil.
I don't change my brow products much at all.
I just ran out of my benefit brow gel 24 hour setter.
Is that what the name of it?
So I'm just using this Patrick top setter.
I just use whatever I find for eyes.
I'm just curling my lashes.
I could skip mascara if I feel like it,
but I think I want mascara.
So the mascara that I've been using is the Mac extended play and it has a
really small thin brush.
So when I do more of a natural eye look,
I love using this one because it's just very soft and natural.
It does give some length,
but not too much volume.
If they had one in brown,
which I probably do,
I didn't even check,
but I think that that would be also be beautiful.
Mostly with a no makeup makeup look.
I don't even think I have a brown mascara at the moment.
Otherwise I would have used it.
I should try the Lisa Eldridge brown mascara.
Her that one's amazing.
I really want to do brown on the bottom lashes and let me see if I have a brown
mascara.
I found one from tower 28.
They sent this over.
So I'm going to do this on the lower lashes.
I'm excited.
I should have used this all over,
but even if you just do lower lashes,
I think it would be perfect because it's not as harsh.
It's softer,
yet it still defines the eye.
I forgot how much I love this mascara.
It's so good.
Okay.
That mascara is so good.
I love the brown color.
Almost looks black.
It's just not as harsh.
I'm taking a Q-tip because my lower lashes are quite long and I feel like it
looks like I have too much makeup on.
So I'm just going to try to clean them up and maybe push them to the
corner like this a little bit.
I will put one more layer of the black mascara on top just to define the
lashes a little bit more because they're growing wonky.
Um, it's not like I want more volume necessarily.
I just need to kind of shape the lashes a little bit more.
They're at that point where the longest lashes are in the center.
So I have to kind of put a lot more product at the end to elongate them
because I don't necessarily want them super long in the middle.
So that's good.
It's still soft.
This is super natural mascara, but I love it.
It's so good for very natural looks.
And lower lashes.
The one thing I do want to do is take a little bit of my bronzer.
This is Farha Median Lumen and just kind of go all over to blend everything in.
And I'm going to go over my eyes as well with a smaller brush.
So I'm just taking a fluffy brush and just on the outside, almost
elongating the eye this way.
Everything is done except the lips.
And I go with a lip stain every single day in the morning.
Throughout the day, it may fade just a little bit.
So it's not quite as intense as when I put it on.
But I wear a lip stain every single day.
So I want to do that now.
Now you could just put a little bit of a liner just to define
your lips and be done with it.
But it's me.
So I will do a lip stain.
I got a new color in the Huda stains.
This is Cinnamon.
And it's going to be intense in the beginning, but I'm going to try to
blend it in or blend it out a lot and make it more softer.
So I'm just going to add a little bit here and quickly blend it out like that.
Okay.
A big mistake that I've done right now.
And I think this is a good educational time is that I
didn't clean my lips before.
So there was some oils under there, some foundation.
The lip stain from Victoria Beckham shouldn't bother me at all
because I can remove that one.
But I can see a little few dots that were from like foundation peeling up.
It still works, but that's one thing that I always do before lip stain.
I make sure there's nothing on my lips.
I will take a napkin and wipe everything off, but we made this work.
So you can see that the actual color is very intense, but I was able to
blend it out and just make it look softer.
And now I'm going to take just a dot of this from Victoria Beckham
and put it all over my lip.
So it kind of matches my cheeks a little bit.
Pretty.
The last thing I'm going to do is use this lip liner from Lisa Eldridge.
This is in the shade 2C.
And I am just going to define the lips and blur them out a little bit more.
Why am I doing this?
Because I'm extra.
And also because sometimes with a lip stain, it's not quite
as smooth as I would like it.
So going in with a liner, even though I smudge it, it just softens that edge
a little bit and makes everything blend in much more.
So it's not like you're going to see this color necessarily on my lips, but
it's gonna make everything blend in a little bit more.
The last detail I'm going to do is just take a little bit of a highlighter
and highlight my inner corner very little.
So I'm taking most of it off because I don't want it to be harsh.
And I just want the tiniest pop right there to brighten that area.
I didn't put a ton of concealer to cover a lot.
So, you know, just a dot of light there.
I think you would make it look brighter without having to use too much concealer.
And that is the finished look.
This is how it's looking like.
I think it looks so healthy, so natural.
If I take a mirror and look super up close, I see no makeup.
Everything looks like my skin.
There's nothing too shiny.
There's nothing too intense.
There's no demarcation line.
It just looks like it's fully blended into my skin.
And I love that.
I love how thin it is.
By the end of the day, even though I've done so many tiny steps,
there's going to be barely any makeup to take off just because
there's not much actual makeup on my skin.
You guys saw how little concealer I used.
The tinted SPF from Merit is very light.
I used half a pump of each.
So it just kind of blends into the skin, almost like a moisturizer.
And everything else is just soft.
And I love that.
And yeah, this is the makeup that I've been wearing pretty much every day.
Change the colors a little bit, maybe a different lip.
I do get crazy with my lips, you know.
Sometimes I go to red.
Sometimes I do nude.
I know, crazy.
But yeah, I hope you guys enjoyed it.
And let me know if you like this type of video.
Do you want to see them more often?
Honestly, I could do them a couple of times a week
because it's easy for me after the kids leave for school to just sit down,
have my coffee, do my makeup, just press record.
It's not that difficult.
And I would love to hear your thoughts down below.
And I'll see you in my next one. Bye.
