Hey guys, welcome back to my channel. I thought it would be fun to share some behind the scenes
as I put our new podcast studio together. I have just been so excited about this and it's been
something that I have been working on for months and months. I just couldn't wait to see my vision
for this come to life. As most of you already know, I'm renting so I needed to do a renter
friendly option with the walls. Instead of painting, I just found some peel and stick
wallpaper that I thought would look nice with all of the furniture that I have and I will be sure
to link everything I'm using or the furniture that I'm building in the description. So most
of the decor that I have is old, but I will link what I can. Before I jump into the podcast,
cause I do want to talk about that. I first want to say I will be putting out some decorate with
me videos. So all of you ladies that are here for the fall decor and Christmas, like all of those
videos, those will be coming in the next couple of weeks. So obviously not the Christmas, but I
will be posting a couple of fall decorate with me videos. Okay. I wanted to just take a minute to
share more detail on what this podcast is, kind of how it started. It's not going to be hosted on
my YouTube channel. We will have a separate channel for all of our episodes that will be
uploaded to. I will have that linked in the description. If you don't see it linked there
right now, come back and check because shortly by next week, there will be a link again. This
will be on a different channel. So me and Bobby separately have had this desire placed in our
hearts for years to do a podcast. We both knew it wasn't the right time to start years ago. Like we
both just had this knowing that eventually we would have a podcast. And this is again, separately,
we've never discussed this. And as each year passed, it's just been getting louder and louder.
And the more time we spent together last year, we would kind of just get into these conversations.
And we realized this was something that was placed on both of our hearts. So we knew,
okay, I think we're supposed to do this together. And what's crazy is every time I try to put my
energy into something else, it feels like a dead end. It just doesn't flow. I can't really explain
it unless you've experienced that. It's kind of hard to explain, but the moment we would get
together and go over these topics that we would want to discuss on the podcast, it was like a
waterfall of information or downloads from heaven just flow to us. So we knew that this was something
that we're supposed to be doing right now. As far as the topics go, we are Jesus lovers through and
through. So sharing spiritual messages will be the main focus for us, but you can really expect
all of the topics under the umbrella of just becoming a better you mentally, physically,
spiritually, all the things that will just help you grow and us too, because guess what? We are flawed
individuals going through life for the first time, just like everyone else. So we're here to
just kind of figure it all out together. We also have a segment at the end of each episode that
we are calling mini miracle messages. I am so excited about this. So this is where you will
share your miracle stories. The reason we're doing this is because for both of us, other people's
miracles in many ways, been lifelines for us when we're going through different struggles in our
life. And we just thought that would be a great addition to our episodes. We want to be hearing
from you guys. If you have a story you want to share. Also, I will have an email linked below,
um, that you can be submitting your miracle stories to honestly, I can't wait to not only
read all of the submissions, but to also share these because I know these are going to change
so many people's lives. Again, this might be the thing I'm like the very most excited about.
Our plan is to do one podcast every week, but we also have an additional podcast. So we're
technically doing two, but the other one will be up in our private mentorship group,
which is our Patreon. I will also have that linked below if you're interested in that.
Um, we do a lot of challenges. We do a lot of just group meetings and it's just a great place
to stay accountable. So if that's something you're interested in again, linked below. So
for some of you, you'll be getting two podcasts a week and for the public, there will be one.
Now, as far as all this furniture goes, you know, I will have all of this linked below. I
tried to find the most affordable cute pieces I could find. To be honest, I couldn't believe
how affordable some of these pieces were. For example, these shelves with the little arches,
they were under $150 a piece. It was like two 80, I think for the two shelves, they are not
the best quality, but what do you expect when it's a hundred dollars shelf? You know, I was,
I was thinking when I move from this place, I'm definitely going to have to strap these things
together just to make sure they don't fall apart. But for the purpose they're serving,
they look great. Again, I will have all of the podcast things linked as well as all of the decor.
How cute is this lamp? I found a couple things at Walmart today that I just could not say no to
this being one of them. I knew I needed a lamp, but here I got two more things. Hold on.
Where'd I put it? Oh my gosh. Hold on. Are you kidding me? How cute? So I have this little bow
tie candlestick holder, and then I just thought this was so beautiful. These are the only two new
pieces. I guess three with the lamp, three new pieces for this, everything else I'm just going
Don't know what you do. Could you hold my hand? This is the last thing I needed to order for this
room. And it's one more lens. I bought two lenses. I'm going to have to ship one back
because I ended up buying a different lens over here.
I have a really cool story about these cameras. I'm filming with one of them,
but these are the exact same camera. So I have three of these Sony cameras. It's something that
I realized the other day, just a really cool kind of tender mercy or miracle even
with these cameras. So stay tuned for the podcast. Cause I'm going to share it there.
These are packed. So we were getting ready to shoot our first podcast in the setup and it's
going to be in our Patreon. But I wanted to do it this way because I'm like, I need a practice run
with using all of these different mics, different cameras, different angles.
The number one problem I have with filming is the battery dying. And it's the most obnoxious thing,
especially if you don't have like a backup that's already charged. So I discovered, and I'm sure
everybody and their dog already knows about these, but your girl's just learning about them. Dummy
batteries. It doesn't even feel like there's nothing to this battery. And what you do,
this is going to save me so much time. Oh my gosh. What you do is you stick this sucker in the
battery hole. I already have that one connected and I've been using it with the charge. It's so
nice. So you plug this in a power source and your camera will never die. I am so grateful to know
about this and I'm going to set all of this stuff up right now, get these plugs in. That's what I'm
going to be doing until Bobby gets here. And then I'm going to do a couple of little test runs to
make sure everything's working properly. My fear is that when it comes to like filming the very
first podcast, I'm going to forget to hit record on something, you know, heaven forbid it be the
mics because that would be tragic. It's so crazy what goes into just getting a message out. I
wanted it to be visually beautiful. You know, I have a really pretty background since I do film.
I know most podcasts are just audio, but we're doing it this way. And so a lot more goes into
doing it this way.
