Looking for jobs in Australia? This video highlights how to use the Northern Territory DAMA occupation list to find work.Optimize your offshore move to Australia with the NT DAMA III visa! In this video, we break down the process and how to find an employer to sponsor
Let's look at the school's occupation list.
So the NT Dharma occupation list, every details is here.
But when you come here, what I love about this is they have 325 entries.
Find a job.
You can also create your CV.
Okay.
And for the employers too, they can post a job or create a profile.
Registered recruitment agencies.
You have their phone number here, the address here, and also their email.
Hey guys, welcome back to the channel.
Kwame here once again.
Today, I want us to look at the Northern Territory Dharma.
So why am I basically making this video?
So a few years back, I made a video in regards to how people that
wants to use the unskilled migration routes can migrate to Australia.
You know, Australia changes its migration policies regularly.
It's like someone changing their underpants.
Today, they will do this policy tomorrow.
That policy is not going to be no more.
So yes, when it comes to Australia migration, they changes their policy a lot.
I always tell people that the easiest way to migrate to Australia
is through the Dharma program.
So what the Dharma basically means is employers that are living in the Dharma
area, the government have basically made it easier for them to recruit overseas
workers and this year, the Northern Territory Dharma, the government basically
signed a new Dharma called the Dharma 3.
The reason why I'm doing this video is by far, this is like the easiest
way to migrate to Australia.
If you are able to find an employer to sponsor you in the Northern
Territory Dharma, my favorite Dharmas in Australia are basically
the Western Australian Dharma.
And now the Northern Territory Dharma seems to be the easiest way most of
you guys can use to migrate to Australia.
Why?
Because the occupations that are basically on this Dharma list is mind
busting guys, you guys can migrate to Australia using some of the most easiest
occupations that I've ever seen in Australia.
So they are basically saying that, yes, they need a lot of
people to migrate to Australia.
Before we do this video, please know that I'm not a registered migration agent.
So please use any advice in this video as general advice only.
You know how I do it.
I like to take my time and take you guys through the process.
I'll jump on my PC now so we can go through the process.
Do not go anywhere.
Stay tuned.
I'll be right back.
So guys, we are talking about the Northern Territory.
So that's the Australian map.
Okay.
So the good thing about this Dharma for the Northern Territory is the
Northern Territory only has one Dharma.
Okay.
So this is applicable to this whole region here.
So what is this new Dharma that everyone is talking about?
So what I basically meant by coming here as an unskilled worker is for people that
wants to target the Dharma regions because these Dharma regions, they've got concessions.
The Australian government have basically made things easier for employers that are
living in the Dharma areas to basically recruit overseas workers to come and live
in the Dharma area and also work for them.
So what is this important Dharma program that I'm talking about?
So the Northern Territory used to have the Dharma II program and this expired on the
13th of December, 2024.
So what I mean by it's expired is the contract between the Dharma areas and the
government basically expired on the 13th of December, 2024.
But on the 19th of March, 2025, okay, they gave them a go ahead for a new Dharma and
this new Dharma is called NT Dharma III.
But this new, what do you call it?
Contract is going for five years.
Hence, that's why most people have termed this Dharma V for the Northern Territory.
All right.
So I'm on the Northern Territory government's website now.
So the Northern Territory Designated Area Migration Agreement.
So this is a one-stop shop, okay?
It's got everything that you need to understand what the Dharma is about.
So important updates on the NT Dharma program about the Northern Territory Dharma
Agreement step-by-step guide for employers.
So employers that are looking to basically employ people, they've got a step-by-step
process here.
The NT Dharma occupation list, we'll look at this very, very soon.
Concessions available, okay?
So how to make things easier for employers to recruit overseas workers.
So the qualification and age requirements for nominated overseas workers.
So this is applicable to you guys.
So what sort of qualification do you need?
What sort of experience do you need?
The age requirements for you guys, how businesses are assessed being eligible, how
to find an Australian worker.
This is really, really important.
Fees and charges, permanence residency pathway.
One thing I love about this Dharma is they've made it very clear.
So let's say if you migrate using VISA subclass 482, you'll be able to work for
four years. And after that, you'll be able to transition to a permanence residence
using the VISA subclass 186.
In case you got sponsored under VISA subclass 494, after working for three years,
you'll be able to transition into a permanence residency using VISA subclass
191, which is really, really good.
OK, so subsequent endorsements, deed of variation process, then frequently asked
questions FAQ.
So this is like a one stop website that will give you every details you need to know
about this new Dharma program.
Let's look at the skills occupation list.
So the NT Dharma occupation list, every details is here.
But when you come here, what I love about this is they have three hundred and twenty
five entries.
There are occupations like, so there are a lot here.
So baker. OK, they are looking for bakers, bar attendant.
This is crazy. So bar attendant.
When I go to like number two, beauty therapist, bookkeeper, bricklayer.
OK, they are looking for bricklayers, builders, labourer.
So some of the occupations here, you'll be able to get in easily.
Bus driver, guys, bus driver, cabinet maker, carpenter, chef, some are crazy.
So childcare worker, cook, counsellors, crane, hoist, lift operators, crowd controller.
So what is a crowd controller?
Data analyst.
So they've got a diver here.
So there are some occupations that are on this list that are like crazy, that are
crazy. And if you're able to find an employer, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get
someone to sponsor you.
So there are some occupations that are here that are very, very easy.
Florist, forklift driver, roots farm worker, as you guys can see here.
So these are all like easy, easy occupations most people will be able to use to
migrate to Australia.
And again, they've got three hundred and twenty five.
So there are some occupations here that you will not even find on the skills
occupation list. So the Northern Territory has really made things really, really
easy. So what I'll basically do now is I'll take you guys through what this headings
entails. So you guys have a clear idea.
So we have something called Australia New Zealand's code code.
OK, so these are numbers that basically gives you a definition of what the
occupation here is all about.
So let's say, for example, or let's say a fruit farm worker and this is skills level
five. So what is a fruit farm worker?
So basically do is you come here, you copy this code.
There is a website you have to go to to look at the description.
So what Australia and New Zealand basically terms as a fruit farm worker.
So this code here will give you the definition and you have to match that to your
skills. We have the occupation standards clarification for Australia.
This is the latest the latest website to be able to check the definition of most of
the code code. But you will not find most of the occupations here.
So in case you type in here and you don't find you, you have to come to the old
website, the Australian and New Zealand standard clarification of occupations.
Yeah, you just type it here.
But first, let's type and let's try and search on the new website.
So I'll just type the code here.
I'll go search. It looks like they've not updated on the new website yet.
That is OK. So what I'll basically do is I'll come to the old website.
OK, then I'll come to the end.
Let's go search. You put it here.
Then you go search.
Voila. Again, they've got the definition here.
So what you have to do is to click on this link here.
And now what this will basically do is to give you the definition.
OK, so if 8422 is a crop farm workers.
OK, so this is the indicative skills level.
It's got all the details here and this is where you need to look.
OK, so task include.
So these are the tasks that is required of a crop farm worker.
Does that make sense?
Yeah. So please use the code.
Come here, search so you understand and you match all these tasks
in regards to what you're basically doing in your home country.
If it's matches, then it's a tick.
Yeah. So that's the ANZ SCO code.
Now we have the occupation of this is basically the name of the occupation.
Now we have the ANZ SCO skills level.
So every skills level's got its number.
Of course, one is the highest and five is the lowest.
So what does this numbers mean?
Again, Northern Territory have made it really, really easy.
So when we come to another website, I'll leave this link
in the description section below.
We have the job and skills levels.
OK, so when you see ANZ SCO code skills level one.
So this is basically for people that has got the bachelor's degree
or higher qualification skills level to those that has got associated degree,
advanced diploma or diploma skills level three.
Those that have got like a certificate three or certificates five or certificates
for skills level four, certificate two or certificate three skills level five
certificates one or compulsory secondary school education.
In case you want to know more, there's also a link here.
Yeah, that will take you to the ABS website.
And they'll also explain into details as well.
Australia terms are skills level one, two, three, four, five.
And we have the English concession.
So as you guys can see here, one of the amazing things about
the Dharma regions is we have English language requirements.
You need at least something we call competent English.
So to put it in a nutshell, you need at least all band six in IELTS.
OK, all band six.
The government have made it easy for these Dharma areas to have a concession.
So if you do not have band six and you have like a band
that is slower than band six, you'll be able to use that to migrate to Australia.
And so what are these concessions?
So you have the English concession here.
We have the age concession here.
OK, so what does this mean?
There's also a website here that explains that.
OK, so concessions available for the Northern Territory Dharma.
Again, we have the age concession, as you guys can see here.
So when you break it, when you scroll down, it breaks it down here.
But this is a plus for a two.
There's no age requirement.
But for this is a plus for nine, four and one, six.
There's a cut off age of 45.
But if you're going through the Dharma, OK, they've got a concession in that regard.
So if you still want to become a permanent residence in Australia
and you are using this as a plus for nine, four, that is for nine, four to one, nine,
one, or you're using the employee nomination scheme, this is a plus one, a six.
OK, there is an age concession.
So in that regards, the 45 cut off age doesn't apply.
Even if you are like 50 for some skills level or if you are like
55 for some skills level, you will still be able to go through this visa
and become a permanent resident.
This is amazing, guys.
This is awesome.
Again, it breaks it down here so you guys can read further
additional occupations, not on the ANZ score list.
So again, Northern Territory have gone up further
and they've listed additional occupations.
So with the occupation that are not on the list,
if you have this sort of skill sets,
you'll still be able to migrate to the Northern Territory.
So if you're like a bad attendant supervisor,
OK, you have a bar and you are the supervisor in regards to that bar.
You'll be able to use this to migrate to Australia.
Civil construction site supervisor cook.
OK, special specialist ethnic cuisine.
I can interpret the ethnic here as different cultures.
OK, so you can use that to also migrate to Australia.
Electrical motor repair or wind up.
You can use that high access maintenance and cleaning technician.
High access maintenance and cleaning technician.
What does this mean?
This can mean a lot of things.
OK, hospitality worker.
This can also mean a lot of things.
Skilled horticulture worker.
A waiter that is a supervisor.
So all these occupations here,
they don't have any ANZ code definition,
but you'll still be able to use this to migrate to the Northern Territory.
This is amazing.
This is amazing, guys.
And again, the English concession is here.
So you need what we call competent English to go through the process.
But again, they have like the lowest score here.
So four point five.
OK, so for the skills in demand visa
the concession is you need at least four point five
with a minimum of four in all the in all the components.
So you like them reading, listening, writing and speaking.
Four point zero. This is like easy.
Anyone can get this.
And with the employer nomination scheme, that is the one eight six.
You need overall of five point zero.
OK, and a minimum ban of four point zero.
So this is really achievable.
This is really, really achievable as compared to the competent English
that is six in all the components.
So this is really achievable.
So this is the English language concession.
Yes, you still have to prove that you have IELTS.
OK, to migrate to Australia.
And of course, they also have the income threshold.
And what this income threshold is basically saying is
if you are going through the normal route, normal for a two,
we have something called testament.
OK, the employer will have to prove that they can pay you.
I think starting from the first of July
twenty twenty five seventy six thousand five hundred and fifteen.
But they have a concession on that.
So what it's basically saying is that if the employer can pay like 85 percent
of the CSIT, OK, they'll be able to nominate you.
And the last but not the least,
we have qualification and experience requirements.
As you guys can see here, we have B.C.A.
They've got letters here.
OK, so what does this mean?
Again, there's a website that explains this into details.
Qualifications, experience and age requirements for nominated
overseas workers.
I'm not going to spend a lot of time here, but when you come here,
we've got ABCDEFGHIJKL all the way up to P.
All right. So it has all the meaning here.
So when you come on the occupation list
and it says, let's say the first one, which is electrician special class
is skills level three and English concession.
Yes. Age concession.
Yes. And qualification and experience requirements is D.
You basically have to just come here.
Type D. OK, you scroll down and gives you the explanation.
As to what is required.
So let's say SID requirements.
So that's the skills in demand visa requirements.
That's visa surplus for a two applicants must meet one of the following.
Hold a relevant qualification equivalent to AQL.
So Australian Qualification Framework Certificate three,
including two years of on the job training.
OK, so you need a qualification and you also need at least two years
on the job training or certificates
for and one year of full time or part time equivalent work experience.
So this is what you basically need.
OK, to meet the requirements.
This is awesome.
When it comes to the visa surplus for 942, it's got the requirements here.
When it comes to visa surplus 1862, it's got the requirements here.
So again, they've got all the information on the website
and they've broken things down so it's easier for you guys to understand.
All right. So I'll also leave this link
in the description section below for you guys.
All right. So that's basically it.
So how do you go through this process or how do you get the visa?
I know most of you guys are thinking about this.
OK, so with this
Northern Territory Dharma or with any with any employer sponsored visa,
you need to find an employer.
It's not like you basically go and apply for the visa.
We have the general schools migration visas.
That is another video for some other time.
But with this, you have to first look for the employer.
OK, you have to look for the employer that basically
lives in the Northern Territory.
So you need to come here and look for an employer
that lives in the Northern Territory.
The whole of the Northern Territory is a Dharma area.
So once you find an employer, yay, then there are three steps involved.
So sponsorship, the employer will have to get the agreement.
OK, SBS approval.
They go through something we call LMT labor market testing and the rest.
Once they go through and they get all the green lights,
then they go through the nomination.
So the employer will nominate you.
OK, so once they nominate you, then the employer will help you apply for the visa.
So these are in three stages.
Again, find a registered migration agent, speak to them
so they can assist you with the process.
So how do you find employers?
Again, there's a website here.
OK, how to find an Australian worker.
OK, and again, we are on the Northern Territory government's website.
So instead of going to SIG.com.au, you please come here first or here first.
So local recruitment options.
So the first thing you can do is register
and advertise on the anti-government free website.
So this is both for employers and also people that are looking for work.
All right. So when I open this, voila.
So this is territory where I connect.
OK, so you are.
It's basically connecting both employers and employees.
So you can come here and search for a job
and this website to give you a lot of information.
So again, when we look here, find a job.
You can also create your CV.
OK, and for employers to they can post a job or create a profile.
So for job seekers, that is you guys watching this video.
And for employers that are also looking for you guys,
you guys can both what you call it and come here and create an account.
And also you can also look for job when you come down here to industry job search.
So they've got agriculture and environment,
business and government administration, construction and trades.
They have all the categories here.
We also have employer profiles that you can basically look through.
They have the industry and personal profiles that you can basically look.
OK, and where can live in our region?
So they've got everything.
So this is like the one stop shop for both you and also for your employer
that is looking for you.
So this is one where you can get started.
OK, just come here, join, create an account and off you go.
The other thing is you can also contact recruitment agencies.
So agencies that are looking for employees, for employers,
you can also go through them and they'll be able to assist you.
So when I open this website again, we are in the Northern Territory.
OK, so on the territory.com.au.
So Northern Territory recruitment agency.
So these are all registered recruitment agencies.
You have their phone number here, the address here and also their email.
You know, Kwame, I like to give out things for free.
OK, so you have all these registered agencies at your fingertips.
Make a contact with them.
Send them your CVs and you never know.
They'll be able to link you up with an employer
that is looking at sponsoring an overseas worker.
OK, so this is for people that are currently living in Australia
and also for people that are living offshore that wants to migrate to Australia.
And when we come here to OK, we have the career one websites
Indeed, Jora, Azuna and the rest.
So this is also like a one stop website you guys can explore.
And that's all.
So again, I've given you guys all the links.
OK, go and look for an employer.
So once you find an employer and you are looking for a registered
migration agent to help you with the process.
OK, contact me.
I've got friends that are registered migration agents
that will be able to assist you with the process,
even if you don't have the skills now
and you are looking at maybe coming to study in Australia,
so you can look at studying in the Northern Territory.
And trust me, your chances of you getting your PR is going to be
very, very easy as compared to other states in Australia.
Again, I've been receiving a lot of emails and messages and comments.
I'm just one person and I cannot attend to everyone.
So sorry in that regard.
But what I've basically done is I've created like a little community.
OK, so a little settling Australia community where I will share
vital content with those that are looking for this content.

in the description section below and join this community so you can have access
to all the vital information I'll be sharing.
