Yeehaw! We're going to a party. What do we got here?
Oh, we have a cake. We have a little bit of Prosecco in with our wood.
Some plastic cups. Very fancy plastic champagne glasses.
A big cake.
Firewood.
Trusty wheelbarrow.
And we're hauling it all in a wheelbarrow.
Over to a bonfire for Redneck New Year.
Woohoo!
From Black Canyon City.
Let's go.
Let's do this.
Alright, here's the venue for the party.
Let's check it out.
And we've got pizza right on the fire.
Well, not right on it, but right next to it.
And Lee is cooking up some soup right here. Let's have a look at that.
Oh, that looks pretty good.
Where's the fireplace?
Hey Tina, what happened just now?
So, I was getting my wonderful Prosecco out and was walking around with it.
And then I went to grab our fancy dancy little glasses here that I'm going to put together.
And I asked if anybody wanted to have some Prosecco to get started.
Even though it's not midnight yet or close to it.
And as I walked back, we heard a pop.
And it opened itself.
And I don't know where the cork went or anything.
Oh, here it is.
That's funny, huh?
But anyway, everybody here saw it and heard it.
And it announced itself.
So, we're going to drink up because it said drink me.
It opened on its own. I didn't even have to try.
It's a sign. We must drink.
Absolutely.
I think when she came over here holding that bottle, she was shaking.
Maybe I was swaying.
Maybe I was shaking and swaying.
So, never, ever, ever have I had that happen with a bottle of champagne or Prosecco.
Yep, that bottle opened itself.
Alright, let's toast.
To 2023. May it be a healthy, successful, and prosperous year for us all.
And may we achieve our heart's desires.
Amen.
Hallelujah.
It was an enormous area.
The reason I found it at night.
What did you find again?
What was it?
A mass burial area.
An ancient Indian burial site, you think, maybe.
Yeah.
I don't know if it was Indian. I don't know who it was.
But it was out in the desert.
Because I'll tell you why.
Not too far from there.
Probably a few hundred yards.
I found where someone had dumped a pile of stuff.
And I was over there poking around with my walking stick.
You know, my dog was always biting.
And he was sniffing around.
And he alerted me of something.
And I started digging it up, trying to figure out what he was on to.
Right.
You know what it was?
What?
It was only like a quarter and part of a sleeve of an old leather jacket.
Wow.
Completely saturated with blood.
Whoa.
I mean, enough blood.
The person seriously lost blood.
Maybe died.
And it was in that pile of stuff.
Yeah.
I had to get rid of that, too.
Because my wife had a fit.
She did.
Okay, don't worry. You're on camera.
Well, she divorced me.
Well, you know what?
Ground scores, they're not always, you know, shiny.
Well, you don't know. You don't know.
You never know.
They're not always shiny and gold.
Sometimes you find stuff that's saturated and red.
No, I didn't know.
I didn't know that was what it was right at first.
Of course you would.
I had to dig it out.
And I didn't really want to touch it at first.
No, I don't believe you.
And I didn't know until I started examining it.
Because by this time it's all dried up.
So is that the strangest?
Well, I'm trying to think of the strangest thing that I've found in the desert.
But you found skulls out there.
Yeah.
Okay.
I had some bones and jawbone and skull stuff in my house.
And my wife lived out there.
And I had to get my sister-in-law to sneak over there.
She knows how to hide.
That's an interesting story.
I know where it is.
I know the spot.
I've been back there a bunch of times.
We might be calling up some spirits right here.
Not with my rhythm.
Well, now we're switching over to some native drums.
This is for the New Year.
It's a moment.
Okay.
I like that.
I love it.
Here.
A hand drum for you.
Oh, is that it?
We do.
You didn't hear my Chinese drum, huh?
Fire, fire, fire.
Happy New Year.
And he was telling us the story about what he found buried.
That's where I do like the Forrest Gump thing.
I say,
You never know what you're going to find.
Did Forrest Gump really say that?
I don't think so.
No, he didn't actually say that.
He said,
That's what he actually said.
That's more like it.
Yeah.
And that's true.
The fire feels great.
Happy New Year.
Happy New Year is coming.
Very nice.
Right on.
Happy New Year.
Patience, grasshoppers.
Happy New Year.
Goodbye, 2022.
Peace out.
Thank God.
Right?
Whoa.
Whoa, don't play.
Watch out for the tree, kid.
Yep, watch for the tree.
There you go.
Watch for the little guy here.
There you go.
Nice.
Look at that.
Excellent.
Fire, fire, fire.
That looks like a fire out of control.
Fire, fire, fire.
Here we go.
Toast to the new year.
Goodbye, 2022.
Sayonara, 2022.
It's coming.
Look at this little cap.
Isn't this little cap adorable?
Isn't that adorable?
I brought from Egypt.
That's one.
From Egypt, Cairo.
Egypt, great.
Here's Cairo in 2022, and being together again.
Happy New Year, everybody.
Happy.
Happy New Year, everyone.
