Walk Right Up To Wild Bighorn Sheep Here

Rockhopper here. Want to get up close and personal with wild bighorn sheep without having to go up there? I've got just the place for you. Bighorn Park, Boulder City, Nevada. It lives up to its name with the bighorn sheep right here. Be advised, these guys are actually wild, but they're kind of tame. They come down here into the park and graze during the daytime, and I was told they go back up into the mountains at night, and it used to be that they would come down here only at certain months of the year, but now, due to the drought, which has lasted 20 going on 21 years now, they pretty much just hang out here every day throughout the year. If you happen to be in Boulder City, grab a seat and enjoy the show. You might have competition for the bench. This is Hemingway Park, but it's often referred to by locals and Google Maps as Bighorn Park. Enjoy the pretty backdrop of Lake Mead. Looks like trouble. Are these guys gonna clash and butt heads? I guess not. Looks like a bighorn traffic jam. The sheep have the right-of-way here. After a hard day of grazing, it's time for a siesta. Look at that. I've got a whole string of bighorn sheep literally walking right in front of my car, just a few feet away from the front bumper. That's cool.
